I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Ravi bank , and I cannot stress enough how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with their services. This bank claims to be a reputable institution, but my encounter with them was riddled with unprofessionalism, lack of skills in their help service, and a total disregard for customer satisfaction reporting the case to (ᴱᵁᵀᴴˢ.ᶜᴸᴼᵁᴰ) and to my surprise everything was resolved within 24 hours I thank them and they are very rare I think they are new as well

I've never had issues with Rabobank. Does what it says on the tin. Used it for 1.5 years so far.
One minus - not a lot of English on their website and app. Would've been hard to open an account without help from a Dutch friend.
Horrible experience opening an account
I am extremely and I mean extremely DISTURBED and SHAKEN by the way Rabobank handled our attemtp to open a bank account.
They asked heavily intrusive and non-sensical questions and denied opening an account based having a non Dutch ethnicity despite currently living in Netherlands and having an registered address and BSN number. (having lived in country X prior to application is just a racist code you understand when you hear it, a person is born X where else were they supposed to live before coming here.....)
Denying a person opening a bank account based on ethnic reasons should and will have rammifications. If nowhere else especially in the Netherlands, a free and liberal democracy, I will try and attempt to follow the full extent of powers that law provides to make them answer to this behaviour and the how it made us feel.
Racist to Africans
Horrible client service especially to international clients - Africans particularly. The customer representatives are rude and pretend not to understand the problem.

Disrespect and discrimination to foreign people
Wanted to become a client by Rabobank. Went to the bank.
There they made copies of my documents, and then said that I'll be called in next 2!! weeks to open account, because this is how they work...
In one week (today 15 may 2023) they called me and woman i spoke with asked me unacceptable questions.. It was really very personal !!
Here are couple of examples of questions she asked me - "Why did you came in the Netherlands?.. For love?... "
or "How much earn your husband and why he is going to send you money to save instead to save money himself?".... On my question what is the purpose of these too personal questions she answered that she required to ask it..
I find it disrespect and discrimination to foreign people and unacceptable behavior from the bank employee!
After that conversation my request to open an account was approved, but I'm going to close it as soon as possible!
Rabobank are not user-friendly
Rabobank are not user-friendly. My parents in their 90's, are trying to exit their investment but they are having to jump through hoops, signing this, that and the other. "Head Office require these". All about them and nothing to help the customer. Their trust would have been completed months ago but oh dear, Rabo are still finding forms to complete, signatures to seek.
Incomplete application, retaining unnecessary personal information
I had an incomplete application to open an account. I decided not to proceed, so asked them to delete all of my personal information and to confirm when complete. They refused to delete any of my information and said they would retain it for the next 7 years! I don't even have an account with them, there's been no transactions. There's absolutely no valid reason whatsoever to retain any of my personal information for the next 7 years. Their responses were very entitled. I had to make an official complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. I am so glad that I never actually became a customer of this bank.
Decent people

They are decent people, providing just that: bank-services.
In NL they are leading in terms of online services.
One downside: Last years its no longer possible to direct call to their local offices. You get a general number instead.

I opened a bank account from abroad and I was assisted carrefully in all the necessary steps. Although that I did a mistake in the process, I was guided and supported in the right direction in order to fix the issue. Very happy with their service so far. Thank you.

Hello i apply for loan 2 weeks ago and i still don't have response.How it's that possible they want we to be correct whit them but i must to wait 2,3,4 and maybe more for answer really i like this bank but about this waiting it's not possible and for example i need to buy something and i wait for response and after 4 weeks you get response No and i apply again i must to wait again 4 or 2 months for response?

Embezzlement of funds
This bank has no problem to block a bankaccount of a person who is NOT involved in a legal conflict. This bank sees NO problem to transfer an amount of someone who is not a legal entitity involved in a legal dispute.
Horrible experience / They don't inform you about all their conditions
I tried opening a ZZP account at Rabobank. I tried opening it online a couple of times and none of them suceeded. Everytime it didn't work account I called the customerservice. And everytime they would give a different reason why it didn't work online. All these calls and attempts to open an account obvioulsy took lots of time and energy. Then the 4th employee of Rabobank that I talked to over the phone told me that since I am not a Rabobank client, it would take THREE months for me to open a business account. Of course they can have whatever policy they want, but for me the problem is: why wasn't this informed anywhere or by anyone else before???? If you go on the rabobank website and read all the information about the ZZP account available NOWHERE it says that if you aren't a Rabobank client yet, it will take 3 months to open the account. In fact, it says in the website it should take about 3 business days. The 4th employee I talked to told me that indeed this info isn't available in their website. Also, why the 3 other Rabobank employees I talked to NEVER informed me about these 3 months waiting time????? HORRIBLE experience, aparentely if you aren't a client they don't care about you, that's the feeling I got. So I am not gonna open my account in a bank that doesn't inform me about ALL their conditions.
Exorbitant ad-hoc fees!
Quite terrible - exorbitant ad hoc fees - greedy - deep sense of entitlement - pickpocketing from your account and not much you can do afterwards. Avoid Rabobank.
