I ordered the race chip for my Audi S3 8v(2015) on a weekend, got it by Thurs, remembering that covid can still mess with tracking I was impressed. All the shipping issue complaints I think it's a little immature to blame Race Chip for what happens once it leaves their facility, should blame the company responsible for getting the part to you. Anyways. After the super easy installation, I felt a slight increase, but nothing to write home about, YET. Next day I noticed more mid and high rpm power, car shifting right at 6500rpm, before it was reaching cutoff stock, so that was a nice bonus. Now I'm on day 4 of driving with it and found, for whatever reason and I don't care because its more power, that the car responds better to "Sport" mode over "Race" mode, don't know why, don't care because I feel the gain, I feel the added torque. Chirping 4 wheels without launch control is pretty cool and alot of fun. It's affordable and worth double for the power output. The car was verified 0-60 4.11 seconds before, now its sub 4 sec 0-60 and I'll be doing 85 if I'm not careful, it happens so fast. A++

So I ordered the Race Chip for my Q5 to be shipped to Serbia. We had some issues with DHL and the package was returned to them. It never left the country. After talking to the accommodating customer service agent, he was on the ball and reshipped the order to me. It arrived in great condition, and I must say after sales support was fantastic.
Installation took 10 minutes, and the car feels like new, no error codes or issues whatsoever.

My car: VW Polo AW 1.0 TSI 95hp

First time on installation of the RaceChip I got an error. Apparently I installed it wrong. Removed the RaceChip again, wait 10 minutes, and installed it again, the right way, it worked :)

Good customer service. They respond a bit late, but they are always friendly in my opinion.

RaceChip itself is also good, so far. Just did a test yesterday counting the speeding time 80-120km/h without and with RaceChip RS. At some points my car is 6 km/h faster in 5th gear with RaceChip after 100 km/h!

You can feel a better acceleration. It's not extremely faster, but you can feel a difference for sure :)

Very bad service ordered an Xlr tuner for my 328 about a month ago still haven’t received any tracking . Ridiculous , been contacting all I have been getting is we are going to look into it

Racechip S fitted on Alfa Guilietta cloverleaf... fantastic product.. the programming produces a fantastic increase in performance... much more than my expectations.. already a quick car but now has Ford RS performance!!

Long time there was no Racing chip available for my kind of motor. But now they had it and I ordered it with the special offer of 100,-€ off. The chip came in time and perfect packed. The new operations manual is clear described and with many good pictures. The App works perfect and is very easy to use! And the performance of the car is raised incredible with less gas to use.
So all promises they gave were adhered! Perfect!! Carry on!!!

Bought the RaceChip RS for my 2020 Veloster N. Works great out of the box, no issues with bluetooth either. Could easily feel the power increase. For the price and ease of use, very satisfied with the results.

Placed order and got the GTS Black within a few days.
Installed into my 2019 BMW M4 Competition which has a stock 450bhp. Very very quick without the RaceChip but with it.....whoooooaaaaa.
Going to put the car on to a dyno to get some real measurements and will update this review. Thinking of doing a youtube review if anyone is interested.

Had an RS chip for my Hyundai i30 CRDI since 2017 and it's been great!

Only had my Racechip S model installed on a 2020 Kia Forte GT for a few days now. There is a very noticeable difference in power. I've tested all the settings following the instructions and I've settled on the #4 map setting. Seems to work the best. Recorded a 0-60 of 5.97 seconds. Previous best was 6.36. Think I could do a little better than that on a level road which I wasn't on. It's early on but it seems to work as advertised. Loving the extra torque,power. I also have a K & N intake installed. Very much worth it for the power difference I'm getting.

I've had the rs racechip on my '14 328i for 10 months now with no problems. It has produced a notable increase in power over stock. So far it has been a good purchase.

It's been two weeks, zendesk says my ticket is closed, you said you would provide an update to solve the issue of loss of power / limp mode under acceleration.

The box requests 197/198ish mpa of rail fuel pressure, car tries to give that then boom, drop of pressure and limp mode, rail pressure sensor drops from 4v to 1v and accordingly it's pressure stops copying the desired pressure sensor mpa and goes right down, then limp mode. This behavior is sporadic and whilst can be replicated easily now, there are a couple of hard pulls when it doesn't drop pressure / plays nicely.
All of this relates to hard pulls 3-4k (car pulling great until just under 4k, then the drop off / limp).

A second way the problem happens is as follows:
Sometimes boost seems much slower at around 3k than it should, a kind-of hesitation, almost naturally aspirated feel, if the car is then pushed a bit more, say to 3.5/4k that will also cause limp mode.
All of this relates to just moderate driving, and doesn't meet the same criteria of the first way this problem happens (because in this circumstance fuel rail pressure is much lower, therefore the problem is not simply rail pressure being too high, as it could happen at 3-3.5k revs this way, which is alot less pressure than 197+/- @ 4k ...)

I've noted down what all the settings request in terms of fuel pressure, and I expect an update and one that justify me buying the GTS, because if your update lowers this value then it's obviously not worth my money paying for a detuned GTS tuning box, but like I said its not simply fuel rail pressure being too high, my instinct is it's to-do with voltage drops or something.

I appreciate every vehicle is different, but my vehicle is highly maintained, low mileage, good fuels etc, your box worked okish for one month (limp mode every 2-3 weeks). Now it's constant limp mode by just medium/hard acceleration.

It's a massive headache. I don't think without severely crippling the box's performance that you'll get it to work, but I paid all that money for the top model + Bluetooth to ensure top performance. I enquired about a refund on grounds that the thing is not working and you said you would try another update before offering the refund.

That's two weeks ago.

If your update can't offer the performance I paid for then let's just get a refund set up.

I will update this review accordingly based on your replies to my emails.

I would like to specifically know which parameters you edited in the first and only update you've given me, as it seems worse since then.

I have a proper scanning tablet, so can check any vehicle parameters or do live data recording of any number of parameters, in graph form, if that would help.

Polo BLUEGT RS installed. Fantastic bit of kit really makes a difference not sure of the economy feature benefits as i didn't buy if for that! Instructions supplied in the kit didn't match my engine layout but I was supplied some on email when my order was confirmed. The fine tune mode helps to smooth out power delivery as in race mode at the highest setting it is very punchy. Does exactly what it says on the tin very happy.

I just installed the Racechip GTS Black on my Golf 2.0 GTI, 245 HP and took it for a test drive. I love it! This is what the car needed without spending a fortune on additional tuning mods.
Not sure why the engineers at VW didn’t tune the stock engine according to this programe in the first place. The car is much more responsive/ enjoyable now. In my opinion money well spent.

I am scared by the amount of negative feedback on Race tuning Chip.
A year has passed since I bought my Mercedes A 220 4matic and I plan to install one of the Race Chip devices. Cost around £ 350 after a summer price cut
From negative reviews, you can see that people are fighting for a refund
They struggle with inept staff that does everything to discourage them and not give them refund.
She does not answer phone calls and e-mail.
It's hard to believe that this is a German company that is usually known for its reliability.
All good is German, but that's not true more.
I don't know what to do, I have many doubts.
If Brabus, which produces a similar tunning chip, had such a kit for my A 220 engine, I would buy it immediately, despite the price twice as high.
Unfortunately, only the A 250 engine is on offer.
This Brabus kit is installed in a Mercedes workshop and the warranty does not expire, even with a new car.
Cases like the ones described are never the case with Brabus - Mercedes
I know the cost is double or higher, but you know what you will get for it and you feel it under your feet.

I just got my GTS race chip for my Mercedes CLA 200 - I was looking for something effective, good value for money and also reversible. I am speechless at the quality of the GTS race chip making my 1.6 154 horsepower CLA much punchier and quicker than it already was. Bare in mind this car was already quite nippy for a 18 year old. Blown away and so happy! Easy set up with help from a friend with slightly more experience. BUY Racechip you won’t regret it

It has been over two weeks since ordering (with confidence) my Race Chip GTS with 0 reply from customer service as to when my order will ship.

I purchased a Racechip S for my wifes GLA 200 she was dead against it, after 2 months of use I took it off as she bought a new GLA 200, the first thing she said after 1 week is put the chip back on, its much better than i expected.
