I cannot say how grateful I am for their last minute adaptations to the sudden change to the interview format. Thank you for all of your hard work and I would definitely recommend this to anyone applying to radiology!

Radcast is the best

Radcast is the best. Muhammad went all and out. He was super hardworking, cheerfully funny, very helpful and thoughtful. Radcast responded appropriately to the swift change in interview format and did lots of presentations for us. I will recommend them any day, anytime 💯

They will definitely do their part

The Radcast team literally holds your hand through the radiology application process. Ofcourse you have to put in your own blood, sweat and tears especially with the increasing competition, but it helps to have reliabie, helpful and dedicated mentors and guides like this platform provides.

Most fulfilling learning experience ever!

I really don’t know where to start to thank RadCast for how much they have helped me from the very beginning in this arduous journey of the radiology application.
From helping me build up my portfolio to the final interview prep, these guys have been my go-to team for every single thing. They are super responsive to your emails and will answer any silly question you have ( I may or may not be guilty about this!)

The final mocks were amazing, gave solid feedback and felt very supportive.
The icing on the cake is how they stuck to us clueless folks when the interview format got changed less than 1 week from the actual interview dates! Muhammad painstakingly arranged webinars every single day until the interviews, that covered such a comprehensive stretch of radiology related questions that could come for the interview. He is the best teacher that I have encountered as far as I can remember. Its truly impressive how he doesn’t leave a single question in the chatbox unanswered and how he can patiently plod through each and every query raised, regardless of how basic it might be. Can’t thank their efforts enough, esp Muhammad for going out of his way to help us all.
I truly believe RadCast is the only team who send out extended resources, support materials and teaching webinars when the interview format changed unpredictably. And if that can’t get you to put your trust on them, I know what can. I have also gone through several other top resources in the market and have seen despite the high price they charge, how outdated their info is with guidelines from 2022 still being cited *smh* .

So given a chance, I would put my money on these guys and these guys alone for they stay abreast with the latest changes, extend sincere support throughout and guide you every single step of the way.

Essential

Wow. Wow. Wow. What can I say apart from wow. This course is comprehensive, high yield, interactive, accessible and has the most chill and enthusiastic lead (Muhammed). The lectures give you access to so much specialist knowledge and golden snippets of information to sprinkle into your interview answers. It gives you hard core structures to answer questions and really gives you the biggest advantage prior to your interview. For me this was such a good purchase and a deffo must for any aspiring radiologist. I would have paid double for this. Thanks again for all your help, praying I get a training number now.

Just as a follow up on this, I got my first choice offer and ranked very well! Thanks to rad cast and the whole team I’m over the moon

Best radiology preparation course without a doubt

RadCast is the most amazing resource I have ever encountered throughout my entire career as a doctor, and the next best resources do not come close.

Firstly, they have a variety of courses and content which you can use to supplement your knowledge about radiology as a specialty. Whilst this can be found in some other rival companies, RadCast content is always consistently better.

Besides that, RadCast has a fantastic team and community, with excellent vision behind their company. For example, they recently launched an app, and their website is scalable (using a proper website, well designed) which is rare to find in the medical world.

The community is of great value - recently, the radiology interview structure was changed and the RadCast team went above and beyond, spending extra time to produce a lot of content for all of us anxious candidates at no extra cost. The telegram group that we have access to is also invaluable - as it allows us to bounce ideas off more informally as well as act as a support group.

There is always support throughout the process, for example when I was initially not shortlisted for an interview, words of encouragement were given to us.

Truly one of the best resources.

I also enjoy the newsletters that are sent out, very informative, accurate, and funny!

Top tier support

*Updated after offers*

I bought both radcast and Ace Radiology. Initially I thought Ace Radiology was better produced, however Radcast really proved its worth when last minute changes to the interview format were released. Muhammad at Radcast really went above and beyond to produce webinars on key skills like image interpretation and report critique as well as clinical prioritisation. This made a huge difference to my preparedness for the interview. The CRAC materials may look like they lack polish compared to competitors however this is because many of them have been recorded during last minute webinars to help you when you really really need it. The radcast guys are committed to helping you get into radiology whereas other companies may leave you hanging. The CRAC content is excellent and the support is top tier. Also I enjoyed the sense of humour in the Radcast content!

Competitors content was useful but sometimes basic. Radcast includes things you should already know but also stretches that to things you'd have no way of knowing without buying the course or already being a radiologist yourself. For example, I had no idea about the kaizen eportfolio before using CRAC and being able to mention things like that gives you that edge.

An aspect I underestimated before I bought the course was the peer network. I found the telegram group very helpful as I didn't have any friends applying to radiology. Muhammad shared a lot of guidelines in the groups which helped me revise. It was also helpful when it came to booking an interview slot which otherwise would have involved refreshing oriel day and night.

In terms of the mocks, I found both radcast and Ace Radiology equally useful, that is to say not all that useful considering I did the mocks before changes were announced and mocks were geared towards the old format at the time. However knowing what's going to come up will make the mock interviews a lot more useful in the years to come. I do wish the mocks were a tad stricter about timing as I felt in the real interview I sometimes had only 30 second to answer questions. But the points made by my tutor were excellent and really helped me refine my technique. These were tips you wouldn't get from your family and friends, requiring radiology specific knowledge. And consider how useful this will be in the coming years as the interview will include a station on clinical prioritisation which radiologists will be best equipped to help you with.

Another great thing about Radcast is that they're always innovating and improving the product. They put out an app to allow you to access CRAC from your phone, which was really useful to me when I was trying to prepare for my interview during on-calls. They know when it's crunch time and are available to support you then. Muhammad took a day off to answer queries on results day. They really do care!

Muhammad at Radcast is an amazing teacher. He is very well spoken even when speaking completely off the cuff and explains things in a very clear way. He is also has saintly patience and is able to tolerate the most idiotic of questions with grace. I think the radcast content is useful for doctors in general, not just those applying to radiology. I certainly learned a lot I'll be using in my clinical practice.

Do you NEED a course? No. But I didn't have a lot of time to read books and work stuff out on my own in between my busy oncalls. A hundred quid now Vs the rest of your career earnings was a no brainer to me. Also I learned a lot I wouldn't have known about without the course. If you're very well integrated to a radiology department and know the specialty inside out already, you probably don't need it, but most of us aren't. Personally I would recommend a course to most people and if you were only going to pick one course, I would pick Radcast hands down. Radcast isn't just a course, it's access to continuous resources and support which you won't necessarily get with competitors. It's like having a mentor who is a radiologist and wants you to succeed.

Remember it's not enough to be good, you have to be better than the competition which includes some truly excellent applicants indeed. I needed every edge I could get.

I had only decided quite late that I wanted radiology after doing a taster in my first job of fy2, was applying straight out of fy2 with a pretty weak portfolio and had totally flopped an IMT interview so I was expecting that it would take me multiple tries to get in. However I ranked 242 out of 565 and got an offer for Mersey which I'm delighted with. I'll be forever grateful to Radcast for helping me secure my dream career!

Impossible to book a mock interview

Impossible to book a mock interview. Allowing people to book multiple mock interviews whilst others cannot book one seems very unfair.

Reply from Radcast

Hi GD, thanks your review and please be rest assured that we value your feedback.

In terms of the 1-to-1 mock interviews, we genuinely appreciate how challenging it can be to get a slot. However, please note, we've tried our hardest to increase the availability. This includes us increasing our pool of interviewers this year and also, limiting candidates to only having 1 active booking at a time. Unfortunately, we're not able to limit the number of sessions a candidate can have altogether or make the booking platform preferentially let certain candidates get slots.

Going forward, if you want to join our group where we let candidates know in advance of upcoming interview slots/last minute vacancies, then feel free to get in touch via hello@radcast.co.uk.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and all the best with your application!

Take care,
Muhammad (RadCast Co-Founder)

I truly appreciate your way of teaching. Throughout the course, your teaching methods were engaging and innovative, making complex concepts easier to understand. Your ability to break down difficult topics and explain them with examples ( liked the way you used your own experience) has been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. I hope RadCast will continue to grow and help thousands medical professionals out there.

RadCast Med Ed 101 Course

As someone with very little formal teaching experience,The Radcast MedEd101 course was a fantastic way to learn the fundamentals and better understand what makes a good clinical educator, and to be honest, getting a feel for the theories and educational models actually helped me to reflect on becoming a better learner too. Being able to work through the course material at my own pace was super convenient and ideal for anyone on a busy rota. Would highly recommend this course to any doctor in training who, like me, wasn't sure where to start on the journey of clinical education!
