BUYERS STAY AWAY

BUYERS STAY AWAY. Dealt with Chris Stamp at Ralph James regarding a property that (allegedly) we got an offer accepted on. Never got anything in writing despite asking repeatedly, said he would do something and then not do it, kept leading us on and never got a straight answer. Eventually, we found out that the seller had accepted another offer without informing us. Will be taking this up with the ombudsman as it was clearly in breach of the code of conduct. It's a shame as it's exactly the type of agent that brings disrepute to the profession. We fully advise against anyone attempting to buy in the area - to experience such dishonest behaviour when you are handling the single largest financial transaction of your life is despicable. Avoid at all costs.
