RAV VAST®

I just received my RAV Vast F Astronaut, and it is absolute magic! A huge thank you to Kate and Yulia for organizing a fast and smooth delivery!

The Rav Anima arrived finally in good condition it was worth the waiting.
It's my second one and I love the 5 chords on top.
The communications about delays was good and did only trigger my eager to get one lol.
It's now my second one beside the Rav Marmara.

The Rav Moon D Universal is a harmonically poetic instrument. Am elated to experience such extraordinary music. It allows for intuitive composition & is a joy to play! Thank you for your assistance, Slava & Kate.

I have 3 rav drums now including the anima, they are all well and exquisitely crafted.
In my recent experience, we had aome issues with delays due to the war and other logistics. Kate the customer service rep went above and beyond in helping to reassure me and track the issue. Im really greatful for her or my experience would have been much worse.

Overall Rav's been good to deal with. Over the past 7 years I've bought 8 drums. They all arrive promptly and as described and I'd had no show stopping issues. I would say most of my drums are about a 9.5 to 10/10. Some of them have slight harmonics issues if struck wrong on certain notes. Part of this can be skill as I learn them for sure - but just want to be transparent.

Their most recent drum, Anima, was delayed due to a bunch of factors and I wish they'd been a little more communicative about those delays rather than my having to ask first (I did get answers every time though!).

Overall I still recommend them highly. They're great drums. The pricing (like everything in the world) has indeed gone up. They do have sales, but the accessories especially are quite pricey - but do what they say on the tin.

I have played the hand pan for a while now, and have been wanting to purchase a Rav Vast to experience a different type of sound and tonality compared to what I am used to experiencing while playing the hand pan.

I am really enjoying the sound and the prolonged resonation of the Rav Vast Astronaut. You can feel the vibrations echo throughout your body and in the room. It definitely speaks to me and I play it every day!

This drum is a gift to the world, and it brings me much joy and peace to play it for myself and others.

Ordered my Anima in early November for delivery to the UK. There were a few initial hiccups choosing the best order location, but after some helpful communication with Rav this was resolved. The long quiet spell over the Christmas period was a bit worrying given the price, but these are hand‑made instruments and, in the new year, communication resumed and the Anima arrived safely after some postal delays. Kate at Rav was excellent in chasing everything up.

The Anima itself is a delight — and a real time thief. It’s mesmerising and deeply enjoyable to play; hours pass like minutes. Build quality is excellent, and the sound is rich, enveloping, and very well controlled. Clear single tones, overtones and chords, all well controlled plus beautiful, subtle blooms that respond to your playing, without any muddy or unintended noise.

In short: it’s a wonderful instrument and, although the wait felt long, it was absolutely worth it. No regrets at all.

I love Ravvast
I use them always for concerts and sound journeys .

Rav makes the best drums and there really is no comparison. They are rich and beautiful. With anything of this kind of quality, there is a wait to get the drum but it's well worth it. I have purchased several Rav Vast drums and just got their newest Anima and I love playing and hearing its incredible tones.

I trust Rav as they always deliver. They are working hard in dealing with difficult and fluid situations dealing with trade but they have been clear in the communications and kept me apprised of when to expect my new drum. It was well worth the wait.

The RAV Anima is an incredible and unique instrument. I have two other RAVS and a number of handpans and this may well be my favorite. The timbre of the chordal tone fields and the Celtic scale produces a sound that I can only describe as sacred and plaintive. What a joy!

I just love my drum. It checks out well. It was worth the wait.

I love my new Moon drum & love that the company sends free video tutorials directly to my email upon delivery. Excellent products! Excellent customer service! Highly recommended!

I've bought a Rav Anima and I absolutely love it! Such an amazing instrument, a real piece of art. I had a tongue drum before, from another manufacturer, but the RAV drums are on another level. Will be getting more of these. I always wanted a B Kurd and a G Pygmy :)
Kate from the customer service was also amazing. She helped as much as she could when my package was stuck in German customs.
5 Stars because not possible to give more 😁

Selecting a drum from the many options was fun and educational, and the drum I selected was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. The quality of the drum is excellent and it’s beautiful to look at when not being played. The online tutorials are helpful, but mostly it’s just cool to experiment. It’s almost impossible to produce a bad sound or rhythm.

I am pressed for time so have not sat down to really introduce myself (to my drum) but I had a little tap and touch. I was immediately reduced to tears of joy. The sound, the tone, the reverberations and the feeling are difficult to describe in words. Amazing. So happy I got one. Customer support and fulfilment process from start to finish has been impeccable.

Despite the conflict in Ukraine and the current conflict in the Middle East, my Anima arrived in less than two weeks.
The package traveled via Moscow, Dubai, London, and finally Cologne to Ulm.
The RAV team was always diligent in tracking the shipment and processing it as quickly as possible.

A tip for all German customers reading this before ordering: be sure to register the package with customs via DHL in advance to avoid long import delays!
The Anima is a wonderful instrument, but for someone like me who hasn't worked much with chords before, it's not entirely easy to play intuitively. However, this doesn't diminish the enjoyment in any way.
I would especially like to commend Kate from customer support, who often replies the same day and makes every effort to answer all customer inquiries. 🍀🙏
Many thanks to the entire RAV team for these wonderful instruments! 🔥

Great instruments and really good customer support. My instrument was stuck in German customs and RAV did everything they could (fast) to help me out. No my RAV Anima is here and it's so beautiful I have to cry!

I recently received my RAV Anima and I absolutely love it. The instrument is beautifully made and the sound is truly magical and calming.
Even as a beginner, it is very enjoyable to play and explore different sounds. You can really feel the quality and craftsmanship that went into making it.
The customer service was also excellent. Kate from the RAV team was very kind and helpful throughout the whole process.
I highly recommend RAV Vast instruments to anyone interested in handpans or steel tongue drums. It was definitely worth the wait.

My RAV Moon arrived in perfect condition and it is a wonderful instrument! Great customer service. Thank you!

Not only are these truly wonderful instruments, customer service is always amazing. I had a RAV which arrived with a tiny bit of rust on it, no questions asked they sent me a replacement.
