AVOID AVOID AVOID. Ordered a motocross bike for my child for Xmas 2 weeks ago with delivery saying 3-5days. After 7 days emailed them to ask where It was... No reply. Emailed them a further 3 times... No reply, rang them... No answer. Shocking customer service. The business is obviously a middleman run from a bedroom. You have been warned

THIS IS A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY.I PURCHASED A QUAD IN NOVEMBER FOR MY SONS XMAS AND ON ARRIVAL IT WAS BADLY DAMAGED IMMEDIATELY I CALLED THE COMPANY TO COMPLAIN TO WHICH I GOT NO HELP WHAT SO EVER..TOLD ME PARTS WOULD BE SENT OUT 14 DAYS LATER STILL NOTHING..CALLED AGAIN TODAY STILL NO FIRTHER FOR IT..NOW XMAS MORNING WILL BE TOTALLY RUINED FOR MY 8 YR OLD SON.
TOTALLY DISGUSTING.

Do not use this company, they took my money, however I never received the goods, even after they had supposedly dispatched them!! Disgusting customer service, non existent unreliable responses to emails, complete and utter money grabbing turds!!!!!

Ordered a quad after 4 times of my son been on it. Swing arm shattered as my son was driving it lucky stopped him just in time and relized it was just hanging on. took it to 3 garages all said it's cheap metal they said that it wasn't, wouldnt offer a refund or it fixed. Arrogant people and need trading standerds on them and shut down. Should not he able to sell them quads for children!!!

Having purchased a 50cc mini moto x bike for my daughter, after x3 uses it has ceased to work. Having contacted rchobbies there response was that as it is x4 months old from delivery it is now out of warranty?!
If I ran my business like this there would be no business. Please do not use as they apparently don't give a damn about after sales or customer satisfaction.
Please purchase elsewhere I beg of you.

Ordered a fun quad arrived within two days ,after a total of one hour riding the bike developed a fault it would not drive in gear,they sent a new clutch but this did not correct fault.So they collected quad and at the same time delivered a replacement bike which is spot on and we have a lot of fun riding it,so all I can say is the company were fine with us and i am more than happy with their customer service.

ordered mini moto it came with a bust rear plastic so got stright on the phone which they do not answer no matter how many times you try !! Manage to get a reply by email saying no problem them will send parts stright out ! 8 weeks later after constantly not replying to anymore emails i still have no parts ! THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL JOKE !

Useless,useless,useless,useless. Customer support is non existent. Once they have your money they don't give a feck. Avoid using this company.

Terrible service. No refund on a deliver damaged pit bike. My 14 year old son lost 12 months savings... avoid like the plauge!!! Shameless company ripping kids off!

After buying a KDX 01 of this company I've had nothing but aggrovastion throttle cable snapped on first ride problem after problem ordered some new parts another £45 on next day service only part turned then spoke to niel was very rude so I was rude back he still could not tell me when parts would arrive so keep your money in your pockets it's cheap rubbish

Shocking service and after sales.

Bought this for our son for xmas and as soon as we charged it (correctly) it caught fire!!!! Lucky we were there to immediately turn it off otherwise we would have had a house fire. I contacted RC-Hobbies and was told to return it. No email came at 1st and then it did. Took ages to receive the returns form. I then completed the form and returned it as mentioned, however there was a delay on my part to return due to issues beyond my control. However it was returned. I emailed to say it was being returned. I then called to make sure they had received it (I knew they did as it was signed for) but told it was lost or infact 'not received at all' but they would check and get back to me at some stage. I then called back to be told the company I returned it too (as per the returns form) had gone into receivership the day after!!!!! What a joke. Now been told it was not sent back in the time frame of 14 days but was not told this on emails once the returns form had been completed. Regardless of this they have been rude on the phone and I am now being ignored completely. Shocking sales and company

2 x mini motors were ordered, on delivery, I refused them and turned them back On the very same delivery truck, as they were un wanted by this point

After speaking to the number provided on the side of the packaging, I was informed that it had been logged and a full refund would be sent out once they receive the goods back

RC Hobbies are now refusing to pay me back even though they have received the goods back,
and in the same packaging there were packed in

I will be taking this to trading standards, as what they have done is effectively theft

The company ( if you can call it that) has now stopped replying to my emails and will not answer the phone, I have been to the citizen advice and will be following this up as they have directed- read all the reviews and keep as far away from RC Hobbies as you can

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

I bought a Himoto Shooutout off road Buggy for Christmas for my son. It was used twice and the motor became jammed. I sent the motor back to them as asked for, then they asked for the whole car. They said it was my fault the car had stopped working as had been misused. It was only ever used on a compact mud track. After a 10 minute argument he refused to repair the vehicle and said I would have to pay £9.95 to have the car returned to me not repaired, I asked for a refund as not fit for purpose. He said If I did not pay for the vehicle to be returned in 14 days he would dispose of the vehicle (which is by law classed as a either criminal damage or theft). After a second phone call he refused to speak to me or answer my emails. I phoned Citizens Advice Online and they were brilliant told me to send an official letter by signed for post. Which I did but this was rejected "addressee gone away" I then sent the same letter via email giving him 7 Days to respond. He did, still refusing to refund and I phoned my credit card company who activated a disputed transaction section 75 of the consumer credit card act. I am pleased to say that they have given me a full refund plus my postage costs. I have spoken to another dealer and they say that they used to sell Himoto products but they had so many returned due to breakdowns they will not now stock them. Please save yourself a lot of heartache buy from a reputable trader. Trading Standards have been advised.

Just don't do it. Most of their fake reviews are written on the same date. :(

I'm not one to complain or write reviews and this is my first. Avoid this place. They simply do not care! Crap customer service, crap products and they are not interested in helping at all!

Ordered two High Powered Waterproof Night Vision Binoculars December 13th for Christmas presents. Today January 26th, order arrived. Very disappointed with the misrepresentation of product. It claimed to be night vision binoculars, but, instead were just normal binoculars. No Phone Number for customer service while trying to track my order, and their policy for returns is only if damaged, not satisfied. Would not recommend this company. Buyer beware!!!

Fell for the 'fighting lightsabers for £30' ad on Facebook. Realised it might be a scam, and tried to cancel. No response.
When the 'lightsabers' arrived, they were a pair of 'space swords' which you buy from the market for less than £5. Flimsy, poor quality, and I wouldn't give them to my 5 year old nephew.
Went straight in the bin and lesson learned.

Never buy from these people, they promise high quality and sell cheap tat.

opened xmas to find rear wheel locked solid /fuel pipe trapped/ when fuel got through bike would not start when it did eventually run it just stalled all the time.emailed rc hobbies xmas day to inform them. would have been happy for them to fix it but there attitude was we will send you the bits you need ?? great for a brand new boxed item eh ?? if id have purchased 2nd hand yes fair enough. as for refund evaded this then decided to say bike would not be in same condition as sent excuse after excuse BUT READ THIS EVERYONE<
DO NOT PAY BY PAYPAL YOU ARE NOT COVERED AS PAYPALS POLICY WILL NOT COVER MOTOR VEHICLES!(RC HOBBIES THINK THERE CLEVER BY USING THIS KNOWING PAYPAL WILL NOT COVER THE ITEM)
BUT INSTEAD PAY BY DEBIT CARD YOUR BANK CAN THEN RECLAIM PAYMENT IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES BEAT THIS LOT AT THERE OWN GAME AS THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING REGARDS A DEBIT CARD REFUND
IT WORKS AND PROTECT YOU AGAINST THESE CROOKS SELLING CHEAP TAT THAT THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE DECENTCY TO INSPECT PRIOR TO DISPATCH..
REMEMBER NO PAYPAL USE YOUR DEBIT CARD IF YOU DO STILL DECIDE TO USE THEM.
