Go a quad for my grandson came will missing parts.

I was unable to start it asked a for a new recoil start they said it is not covered by the warranty?

It's brand new never used it not fit for purpose will be contacting trading standards for a refund.

I bought a 50cc quad which had an electrical fault. I contacted rc hobbies who sent out a new starter motor which did not solve the problem. However they arranged collection of the quad and the very next day a new one was delivered. I could not ask for more. Thank you

Hobbies Discount ! What is wrong with you ? A get rich quick scam ? I ordered a Christmas gift for my grandson over a month ago . Never received a confirmation number and never received the order but was charged for it . Tried to reach them numerous times with no luck . You don't get to do this to so many people and get away with it . You know how karma works ? Watch out ! Like Putin says ," You're going to feel it ."

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SHYSTERS!! Bought the Oktoberfest costume seen on Facebook in early October and was promised 2-4 week delivery. Still waiting in mid-December. They debited my account immediately, marked the transaction "fulfilled" but never sent the goods. They do NOT respond to inquiries and I've made several.

Bought an RC car for my sons birthday , broke within 2 days, sent back for a refund or replacement but now ignoring my emails. No refund, no replacement, no mended car, it's been 1 month now. Terrible customer service and the quality of the products are very poor. Avoid avoid avoid . You've been warned.

I found their web page after searching for a kids 50cc quad bike, I had completely given buying the much more expensive Suzuki lt50 2nd hand they are totally over priced at the moment. So I decided I would buy one from RC Hobbies, the bikes do what they advertise, they are very affordable, I checked the reviews and I was worried but I decided to give them a go, bike ordered Monday am delivered Wednesday morning great service. You have to be prepared to assemble the bike, but it is very simple, wheels handle bars chain guard. These are machines and do need treating as such, I found the chain was a little tight therefore loosened the tensioners off a bit and lubed chain up.

Brought 2 mini motos at Xmas, 1 faulty and the other we didn't put petrol in! Company will not accept them as faulty or even allow us to return them. We have had an independent review completed on bikes who have advised they are dangerous yet alone suitable for children! Refuse to communicate with us over the phone or via email. Have tried to go to trading standards but they will not help as don't have a registered business address and obviously rc hobbies won't give this out. Very dissapointed children and over £500 out of pocket yet these people continue to get away with it!

These people take your money and send you an inexpensive quad. The first day we got it the chain wouldn't stay on then the guard that stops you from burning your legs fell off we rang rc hobbies and finally got through after 5 attempts, after sending picture after picture 3 weeks later were still ringing to see what's going to happen about this. After taking the quad to a mechanic ourselves we were told the quad had been welded wrong and needed sending back as nothing else could be done. We spoke to the company who say they will send a part out what this was going to do I don't no its been welded wrong!!! Then we rang back again and was told that parts not available and we need to pay for the quad to be returned, now the company that delivered the quad can't take it back without packaging, exact dimensions and codes, and are asking me why we would need to send it back when it's faulty and 3 weeks old it should be rc hobbies that have an account with the delivery company,to send it back. We're still waiting for rc hobbies to get back to us with the dimensions and codes and they don't seem to no why they can't collect it by there courier that sends them out . We also threatened to call trading standards the customer service was great from rc hobbies they laughed and told us to go ahead. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY £600 quad worth £0 could have brought a second hand 1 and been better off.

Dirty robbing b.stards!!

Bought two electric scooters for my children for Xmas. One charging point broke after first use. Slow response from customer services then accusation that we must have used excessive force and told to superglue it!! Repeatedly requested they replace however they sent out a part for me to replace it myself. Complained to paypal who have said I am entitled to a refund however I have to send them back at my expense. Less than 30 days since purchase. I cant afford the postage of £40 ish therefore I am now stuck with 2 broken scooters and 2 very upset children. Nothing but rude and ignorant. Total rip off merchants!!

I bought an elegant tricks scooter for my daughter at Xmas. it arrived the boz was all smashed up. the scooter won't start and the foot panel was smashed up. they offered replacement parts but are now just ignoring all calls and emails. Reporting to trading standards

My daughter bought a mini quad bike off this company.
It broke within 3 hours. The company refuses to collect quad bike or to refund. Trading standards are now involved.

Well where do I start,
1) The first carburettor leaked fuel badly.
2) The second one arrived within three days which I can't fault, but the tap/valve was snapped and broken during transit. Built up new carb with original bits unfortunately still leaked fuel. Have had to make a cap at work and seal off with o-ring to stop leak and therefore carb tap not in use. You can use the other fuel tap located about 5 inches from carb.
3) Bike wouldn't start so had to fiddle about with wiring/earth and sparkplug. Finally got it working for Christmas day. Boy was soo excited and happy with present but never lasted long, pull start assy snapped in half on boxing day, Joys!
4) So experience hasn't been great to say the least but to be expected with cheap chinese parts. Would I go through this again? Hell no buy a properly made bike!
5) I will say when I phoned up the company about my problems they were helpful however emails can take up to 2 weeks for a reply.

The expensive RC car ordered for my sons birthday had multiple problems, broken parts within half hour of using, plus a battery that wouldn't charge. I got impression from web site that they were modellers as they said the models were tested to be robust and reliable. I now suspect it's actually a wholesale import business, OnSal Online sales in fact.

The battery charger was equipped with a 13A plug that doesn't meet regulations, trading standards said that it was potentially dangerous. It didn't seem to have a fuse.

I asked for my money back but didn't get a reply. Thank goodness that PayPal agreed with my claim and got me a refund. Never ever again .... Be warned

I have been asking for delivery details since 07/08/2015 no reply to any emails or calls,
Funny they were quick enough to take my £250.
as part of a large quad biking group, I plan to make their poor service very public...

After being concerned by some of the reviews on here I took the risk and ordered a KXD01 Mini Dirt Bike from this company.

I am so glad I did. Delivery was quick and the product is awesome. The upgraded features give extra performance and the bike looks great. I later needed some spare parts and the guy on the phone couldn't have been more helpful.

Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this company I bought the mini quad for my little girl for christmas day. Pull cord broke, back axle weld snapped, leaking petrol and oil. It was a disgrace when it got delivered. Box damaged, foot rest damaged, scratches on body work and mud guards missing. He won't answer calls or emails. My poor wee girls big present broken. So angry with them!!
