Initial interaction unable to log back in after creating new profile with an intentional password too a profile toussant 84 a gmail. Tried forget password after tapping the Receipt Hog icon in the email, welcoming back to the app without the access to the where too find the confirmation code input like ALL apps do when you poke their icons in the email for code entry. So I then tried forgot password; I'm still hoping and patient the help to do so will reach the email this year as the other email so swift came in as be able to get started. While loading first receipt I notice that trying to if adding a second receipt and you would like to change your mind. You would have to dismiss the entire process and start from scratch. The process is long and tiring where apps are make things simplified and easier of our busy life's. Where time is money the lengths of time to get set may you money in an economy where Cash is King and time is money. This I can only believe is slow any businesses revenue down and stop a high turn over of returning customers that find another app which does the same with a better interface performance!!!!

My problem was solved immediately after I contacted Receipt Hog. They did a great job of letting me know what to do as I am not really computer savvy. I could easily understand the instructions they gave me. I am very pleased with their support.

I sent a receipt that a restaurant printed, reflecting what I had paid the restaurant. $30. I have never had any issues with this, no matter by what method I had gotten food from a restaurant. The app kicked back the receipt and said that the date was old. The date was from the previous day. I thought that this was weird, so I had sent it up to support.
The thick-headed support person was hung up on the fact that there was a DoorDash logo on the receipt. Now, I know probably everyone reading this has ordered from DoorDash before. You get a receipt from them for the service actually sent to your email, but the restaurant always gives you a receipt for just what they were paid for your food. I have always turned in those receipts without issue and have gotten points. Well, this bonehead is insisting that it's a DoorDash receipt and that what I am showing includes the service. It's not a service receipt. It's what I paid for the food. The service receipt says $38. She won't even address the date issue, which is the actual problem. I explained it to her, and she's insisting that "doordash is a service." The receipt isn't for DoorDash! It just says DoorDash on it. The receipt is for a pizza restaurant. And what service? I got the pizza from a restaurant that doesn't normally have online ordering, so you enter it into their system and go get it. I DID NOT USE DOOR DASH, but they're telling me that I did because of a LOGO.
I am uninstalling the app and encouraging others to do the same. You can barely get points off of it. I made like $60 off of Fetch Rewards using the same receipts, and I'd sayn 80% of the receipts that go to Receipt Hog won't even scan. They have the worst time connecting to your accounts. They make you jump through hoops just to set up your email to connect. It takes like an hour to finish trying to connect to anything, even with a 500mpbs download, and then it tells you that it can't connect. The only account it will talk to is Walmart. Any other app, you just put in your credentials for your email or any app, and it connects in seconds.
I had this for quite a while, and the most I ever got back was $10.
So, this incident was the last straw. Our relationship is over. You absolutely refuse to resolve my issue. You constantly tell me to uninstall and reinstall instead of just admitting that your app works like a Beta version. You also clearly need an American customer service team who understands the difference between a retail receipt and a DoorDash receipt. Not one time have I ever gotten an apology or a fix on your end. It's always supposed to be MY fault that your app sucks. I'm done.

Receipt Hog will say “missing transaction date” when it is very clear that there is a transaction date on the receipt. Also happening: it will say “receipt blurry.” I have other receipt apps that will take the receipt just fine, but Receipt Hog rejects it. Also, can you give us more that just a few coins on Hog Slots? It takes a long time to get to the highest level based on this!

Takes forever to rack up points!!! I utilize every opportunity including surveys. I had 25 spins today and only got 15 coins and that seems to be the norm. Very disappointing and those on here saying the scanner doesn’t work well is correct. Fetch is far beyond this company which as I said is disappointing!

I like them ok but it takes longer to collect points with them it seems and they are very picky about reciepts. They are generally fair. I haven't experienced too much trouble with them. Have had times where I've had to resend receipts due to scanning issue or if I had 2 reciepts at the same time but with different orders (rare but occurs on occasion at Wendy's) it took several times before finally someone noticed one had been paid with card, the other with cash. But I had to keep on them. But ok. Not as quick to gain rewards as others I deal with but far better than CoinOut!!!

The first year I used this app it was great. I got coins with almost every receipt. Then it started slowing down on both spins and coins. Now, since October I have entered over 65 receipts and only received coins on less than 10 of them. Max win on spins never over 10 coins. Maybe I get 1 spin for every 7-8 receipts

I love this app. I have been using it now for several years. Doesn't really take too long to rack up enough points to get a reward. I occasionally will get an error that a receipt was rejected and I usually mark it as an error (once in awhile I have to do this more than once) and it gets approved. Very rarely do I legitimate rejections. The only thing I sometimes have an issue with is forwarding digital receipts from email, but that is rare as well.
The current maintenance update is taking a little longer than I expected but it does say that the receipts you upload during this time are being tracked and will get added.once maintenance is completed. I don't foresee any concerns with them not getting added.

I have had this app for a couple years and have never had an issue with cashing out a reward or and issues with security with my information. A couple times had to attempt taking a picture of my receipt more than once before accepted, but I even have that with all other rebate sites I use. I highly recommend this app

Perfectly good receipts cant read something. So retake so many times then don't get any credit. Waste of time I'm deleting the app

I signed up for the app and haven't even been able to use it. After I created my account I was asked for a code. They never sent me one. After an hour I hit resend code. Still haven't gotten anything.

Things seem to get worse and worse with Receipt Hog. Constantly tells me things are blurry - they are NOT. Won’t accept e-receipts? Almost everything I purchase is an e-receipt? Except for gas or an occasional trip to my local produce farm. Are you kidding? I am NOT going to link my Amazon to their site or some of the other places they want you to link. But, WHY don’t they accept e-receipts from all the other stores that they are NOT asking you to link to? I spend more time resubmitting receipts or having to check the image and send back to them to reevaluate. Most NEVER credit me the points. This is becoming way too frustrating. Other point sites that I participate in have NO PROBLEM with every receipt that I submit. They never complain it is blurry or incomplete, etc. Maybe it is time for Receipt Hog to do some updating to their site. They are asking below for the DATE of my experience…this is NOT just one date. This has been going on for months, but it gets worse each week.

Has you take all the surveys but never gives you the coins that it says you will earn…. To me it’s a waste of time.

Any high number like over a 1,000 it refuses and says old receipt the receipt is 1 week old bought a new vechile also refused that receipt

It is not worth wasting your time it takes way to many receipts I've scanned a lot alot of receipts and barely made 10 bucks it's horrible after 2 5 dollar cash outs and thousands of receipts..

I tried to cash out twice with Receipt Hog, both times I received a text or email to redeem but the links never worked. I feel that this app is a scam and a waste of time.

I love this app, out of all the receipt apps I have downloaded on my phone this one is by far the best. All the other ones like CoinOut, Fetch, etc. are horrible. They accuse people of them not submitting their own receipts, which is idiotic. So I have deleted those apps that have accused me of such nonsense. Receipt Hog is amazing and knows how to run an app properly. An app user submits a good bit of receipts for one store doesn’t mean the receipts don’t belong to them. Big family, etc. have a receipt limit like Receipt Hog run your app better. Thank you Receipt Hog

Great all around. It's easy and takes very little time to scanning receipts and then fast when they issue reward payments! The customer support is also fantastic and very polite.

I have two $40 Amazon gift cards and it says copy the security code. Then it says click on redemption you are L and paste to unlock my reward on Hector. Am I supposed to do that? I don’t know how I’m 72 years old and why is this so hard. Barb please help me

This is a fake app today I create account and upload receipt and make a redeem request after few hours they disabled my account even I sent mails on their support but nothing rewards received nor account recover please don't waste your time on this stupid app.
