Bad bad bad pick up rubbish day and they chuck half the rubbish on road and leave the bins in the middle of street or even across the street luckily I got camera and I can find Wer my bins are left if one extra bag thy will not take some are very nice and take some think it will cost them put an extra bag in the bin 😂

Moved to Redbridge in January. Received the bill referent to January to March, and proceeded to full payment on the 6th of January. At the beginning of February, I noted that I was still in debt in the council. I readily sent confirmation of payment. Still shows that I am in debt with the council. Called about 5 times and I am told someone will look into this and that they received the confirmation of payment. For the last month I am receiving letters and text messages that I still need to pay the taxes referent to January to March, otherwise I will incur in an extra £145 penalty and will not be able to pay the next council tax in instalments. How long does it take to update records? This is not unacceptable and unnecessarily distressing.

The Whole of Housing Department is useless and just waste of tax payers money. They are so rude and unprofessional. They speak as they own the Redbridge Council or paying from there pockets to needy people.
I would say from Top to bottom they are corrupt and wasting time and money.
They should employ educated people or train them accordingly that people calling you guys for assistance are not beggars and what services they are providing is paid but not a charity work.

When claiming Universal Credit for the first time, you have to go into a Job Centre Plus office.
The first time I went there was daunting and I was very nervous.
However, the staff were all polite and kind.

Every week since, I've been going in to talk about what work I want to do and my work coach helped me look for jobs and courses.

All the help is available if you just speak to them politely. They can help you with applying for courses, writing your CV, and eventually getting a job.

Not opposing the ultra low emission charge extension. But happy to have these cameras put up in the boroughs which we pay for. Needs to be protest outside Ilford town hall.

Their road parking signs aren't clearly says which mobile app the payment has to be done for parking. I visited Ilford and paid for the parking on the pay by phone as its displayed on sign. and later received a penalty ticket. challenged the ticket and they not approve my paid parking. They have to mention on the sign pay by ring go. Council is too cheeky and robbing peoples money.

Just another money making council. Be careful driving in their borough as they are putting in restrictions everywhere and giving fines out.

If you ever come up against person in the name of Peter Marshall he is no good and your wasting your time. Lazy, very unprofessional and top liar. if your willing to bribe him then your in good hands.

Otherwise does nothing all day looks at google images and make statements. Whole council is wrong no wonder redbridge is falling apart. Having someone like Peter wondering around doesn’t help.

If you want to open a take away in your house Redbridge council will definitely allow it, you don't need any industrial units because this council thinks it's perfectly acceptable for the neighbours to put up with the smell of chicken and chips continually wafting into your house and on your washing.
It doesn't only smell of chips it stinks of it's not what you know it's who you know.

Worst borough I ever lived in , we just moved here and applied for admission and my children are out of school but council doesn’t care about their peoples they don’t pick up our calls nor they answer our email they don’t care if children are going to school or at home we never experienced this thing before as we used to lived in different cities in Uk , now I am regretting why we moved here….

We come from East Anglia for a day in London. parked at a car park near Seven Kings train station. Paid about £4.70 for a ticket and displayed it perfectly in the vehicle. The officer who presumably had not enough to do that day decided to slap a ticket on the vehicle. (Reference AF89400204) Completely mystified we went home and looked online and lodged a complaint as they website did not explain at all what the issue was. Weeks later they send me a letter saying the ONLY reason for the £60 fine was that when we typed in the registration number it was missing letters. Judging by the condition of the machine I am not surprised, it was dated, worn and probably faulty. I understand why this technically is not correct what I don't understand is why not show a bit of humanity and kindness to someone who's tried the right thing, paid their fee and parked responsibly. Are there not enough really bad people doing actual crimes and wrongdoing to look after instead of having a pendatic, unreasonable and profiteering approach to law-abiding citizens trying to take their families out for the day? You only have to look at the reviews here to see that this council needs a complete overhaul. Then they give you a phone number to ring and it doesn't work so in the end you give up and pay the £30 fine just to avoid ending up with a £60 one. Utterly despicable.

I live in the Redbridge Borough and it's the worst Borough to live in. It's been three weeks now that the dustman don't collect my Rubbish from the bins whereas all the rubbish is collected from every house hold. I have reported this to the council and no action has been taken, I have tried calling them too but they make you wait so long that you end up putting the phone down. I pay council tax just like the rest of the people living in the street but why am I being treated differently. It's the worst Borough for everything and I wouldn't recommend anyone to move into the borough. They don't even deserve one star but I have no option other then to rate it as one star but if I had the option I wouldn't even give it a negative star as they are not worth it.

Enforcement, Parking.

The authority’s Department for Enforcement is very advanced and extremely Dangerous.

Their Officer’s always looking for ways to take money from your pocket’s into their’s.

I had to PAY penalties for parking on the pavement but 100’s of other vehicle’s parked the same, they didn’t issue NO penalty notice’s to them Just Me, the chosen one ☝️.

The BOX junction Romford Road and Ilford Hill, my wife New Driver stopped for less than a minute because the car in front Stopped suddenly, I had to PAY the penalty even though the my car crossed the BOX junction within the Green Traffic Light 🚦 signal.

The only way is to PAY their demands No humanity whatsoever at all !!

Fining me for slowly moving through a box junction when car in front of me suddenly stopped. Pathetic existence, disgraceful exploitation during difficult times

Who is in charge of parking enforcement in this council?
I have just received an illegal parking fine despite the fact that I live 400 miles away in Scotland and was sitting at home watching the football at the time ..I am 67 years old and have NEVER driven in London .
The photo they sent me was impossible to read the number plate ,but with the spacing looked like it was foreign ,definitely not my car. I was parked near Edinburgh at the time .
SO WHATS GOING ON??????
Or is this a scam by the council to frighten poor pensioners in other parts of the UK into giving them money ??

The council is like this because of Labour leadership that has been in power for far too long in the area. They are bullies and have no regard for individuals. Despicable. They lie cheat and do not care about individuals. Been labour all my life and now I have changed my mind. I've found the labour councillors to be extremely unhelpful lie and gaslight. I have recordings of them! Yet the conservative councillors that I have spoken to, from more than one constituency, have been the most helpful and open.

not the best council i have lived here 25 years and its been been progressively getting worse and worse. The roads are in a poor state with potholes, the footpaths on the streets arent cleaned and often rubbish lingers there for upto a week or more. But the council are excellent when it comes to taking peoples money with parking tickets etc.

My reason for writing this review however was the lady i spoke to when it came to me registering my marriage, didn't seem like she cared and constantly saying "yh yh yh yh" to cut me off so she could end the call early without resolving my issues.
