Brilliant as always.

Brilliant as always never had anything bad to say about these guys . Nice little touch wrapping the products up at this time of year and a card to say thank you . I don't use anywhere else got everything you need and prices are good . Customer service is great always

Never used company before just came across it on google they had what I wanted and delivered to london in less than 24 hours amazing service and delivery even wrapped up as a xmas present well done will use again definitely

Red Hot Vaping - HorizonTech Falcon 2

Ordered from Red Hot Vaping for the first time on Tuesday, delivery arrived on Wednesday without any issues. Great service and even a couple of surprise freebies in with my order. Ordered the HorizonTech Falcon 2, Bubble Glass, and pack of spare coils, got a discount on all three items, which arrived well packaged, delivered by DPD who provide a tracking link where you can watch the van on a map and know exactly where the driver is, it even shows you an image of the driver. I’ll definitely use again.

Probably an ok company however…

Probably an ok company however I unfortunately won't be using them again unless they move to a different delivery provider or look at improving ways to increase customer satisfaction.

I ordered recently for an order to be delivered. The order was processed and shipped and passed to DPD Local. DPD were out delivering the parcel and drove down my road (I saw the van on my CCTV) and then a few moments later posted a photo of the traffic lights just down from my road and stated no one was home.

I contacted DPD who informed me the only people that can help or remediate with DPD are the suppliers (after doing some searches online for similar situations this does appear to be the case) so I contacted Mike at RHV and he replied promptly to say he was on the phone to them and they have instructed the driver to come back and deliver.

Nothing happened and the next day it stated the same DPD driver was going to deliver today instead. The driver drove down my road and then called me to ask where the house was. I informed him it's the clear number seen from the road on the side of the house and he actually looked out his window this time to see where the house was (it's not hidden or difficult).

When he got to the house I asked why he didn't call yesterday if he didn't know where it was as he obviously has my number (though he went past so quick he can't have seen house numbers) and why he stated no one was home and sent a picture of traffic lights.

He then, after having to call to ask where it was said he did ring my doorbell! I offered to show him my door CCTV for all of yesterday which he then just said he has to go and walked off.

I contacted Mike again effectively stating I do not want to pay the £3 to have to have used a delivery service that lied and treated me so poorly and asked for either a refund on this part of the order or a store credit or discount on a future purchase.

This was rejected.

I have worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years and something so simple even if you weren't going to be recompensed by DPD (which I am pretty sure they could be after this service) it goes a long way to keeping customers.

Unfortunate really, as this was my first experience with them and won't be in a hurry to try them again unless delivery providers or customer service improves.

*Addendum post reply from RHV;

Mike is 100% correct, this was mostly due to a poor experience with DPD. RHV have chosen to use DPD as thier delivery provider so by extension are part of thier fulfilment process and overall customer experience with regards to orders.

The 1* in this case rates the experience from order to fulfilment and I feel that during that experience I was not treated adequetly at the 'last mile' giving a 1* experience rating overall. The text above the review field on most review sites like this actually ask "Tell us about your experience". Not 'Tell us about your experience unless you had issues with a third party they choose to do business with'.

With regards to it being "clear that this is a case where you didn't get your own way with a refund so you have marked us down as low as you can instead of leaving an honest service review for us". Well, this leads back nicely to my original statement above that customer service could use improvement.

Unfortunately as hard done by RHV may feel or that my review isn't just, fair or representative of the company itself, in the service industry these are times one would generally keep calm, keep it short with a 'sorry and hope you will return' (if you must feel the need to reply at all) whilst internally letting it go with a 'you can't win them all and we feel we did our best' attitude.

Either way I have no 'beef' with Mike or RHV but felt I needed to give my overall 'experience'.

I am at abit of a loss as to how we have earnt just a 1* review from you based on our service considering you have already emailed stating "I appreciate this is more an issue with DPD but all they said is to speak to you guys."

Now, I appreciate your frustration with DPD however this is something not in our control. Everything we could control we have done to try and assist you.

Unfortunately DPD and other couriers face delays, especially during Covid-19, this is something out of anyone's control. I would also add that you requested a refund of shipping that was declined. The reason this was declined was given via email however i will re-iterate it here for full clarity. Your refund was declined as DPD delivered the day after, which is within a timely manner. On our site, when you purchase you agree to our terms, set out in those terms includes delivery which specifically states "DPD is a delivery aim of the next working day however they may face delays." As stated, you agreed to these terms upon purchasing with us.

I would also add that your purchase was at a loss to us. You purchased a basket of sale items which were reduced below the price we paid, as well as us paying £2.88 towards your DPD shipping. To then refund more due to a delay by a single day wouldn't be viable.

As you have worked in the Customer service industry I am sure you will be more than aware that there is only so much a company can do.

I am sorry you had the experience you did with DPD, but as far as I am concerned, my staff acted with the best service they could give under the circumstances.

It is clear that this is a case where you didn't get your own way with a refund so you have marked us down as low as you can instead of leaving an honest service review for us.

Fortunately, you have been honest in your review with regards to DPD so it will be clear to other trustpilot users that the issues you faced aren't a true reflection of our company.

Thankyou for your edit. I will go into a bit more detail for your benefit.

We have chosen to use DPD after the last lockdown left Royal mail with huge delays which left us with more issues than positives. So we decided to switch to DPD which costs us £5.88 per delivery, the £3 you paid is at a huge discount to you so I already feel you have had a benefit there.

Also, in respect to the reply, we believe in transparency with all of our customers which includes via trustpilot. The review reply is for both yourself and other customers.

I could add Hermes, Yodel, Royal mail and similar to our delivery lists however when sending thousands of parcels DPD has been the most favourable with the least amount of problems. Short of creating our own delivery company unfortunately we can't find better.

I would like to finally add that a 1* indicates that there was no service given at all, as said previously this is clearly not the case as you emailed in contradiction to that.
