Terrible customer service,"policy"

Went in to buy couple rolls of quarters, for laundry. They have a policy ,only if you have an account. If you can't sell quarters,no chance of wanting to be a customer.Banks used to personable, now have to make money on everything.

Disappointed with mortgage enquiry…

Disappointed with mortgage enquiry after referring to website to then be informed the information for shared ownership borrowers are not only classed as vulnerable with little mortgage knowledge ! And not eligible for further borrowing therefore the staircasing explanation is therefore irrelevant ? Consumer duty rules. No other response given other than not offering service and would have hoped for better communication with justification of why treated differently .

Thumbs up, some room for improvement

It's basically the Salvation Army bank. I opened a 1 year business deposit account. Had to post lots of paper to apply then provide more stuff via email. But they answer the phone quickly and got the account open within my requested timeframe - kudos because the rate was a table topper so they were busy. It took 17 days though, with 5 days' lost interest while funds were parked waiting. Challenger banks can get this done in two days with no paper - so Reliance Bank loses a star for me though I've been satisfied on the whole.

I have been with Reliance bank about 3 years. They are a good ethical bank. Where you can telephone and actually speak to someone. Good old fashioned service polite helpful friendly practical and still have a cheque book, not that many will except a cheque.
The only thing I would like to see is a phone app.

I am one of the signatories on a single account (for a charity) with Reliance Bank Ltd and in my opinion they are pretty good. I have to wait for a texted code in order to gain access to the account, and sometimes this doesn't arrive. (Possibly due to poor mobile phone signal where I live?). I have no other complaints.
