Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience! I bought a refurbished Apple Watch through wowcher and when it came it was completely scratched up with a fake cheap strap. I have returned it and have not received a refund and I keep being fobbed off by their customer support. Avoid this company at all costs!

Apple watch 5 with charger - rubbish

Bought an Apple watch 5 with charger. The watch face is badly scratched, the strap doesn't fit the watch properly and overhangs on either side of the face. The charger doesn't come with a charging brick and its the old style brick it needs which means finding a separate brick rather than phone charging one. The watch doesn't even hold a charge for a full day. I'd avoid this company and I certainly would not use again.

purchased a refurbished Apple Watch…

purchased a refurbished Apple Watch Series 4 ) that was advertised as working . The battery life was significantly below expectations. Instead of the advertised battery life, I only got 4-5 hours on a full charge, making impossible to use all day. I assumed this was due to the item being reconditioned .
After returning the watch to the supplier, they claimed that the watch was not covered under guarantee due to water . The supplier claimed the watch suffered liquid damage. This is incorrect. I never exposed the watch to water or any liquids. The watch was used under normal conditions My experience with the supplier's customer service was extremely disappointing. I purchased this watch through Wowcher and the supplier was insistent that it’s all in the fine print :
“ the item is a refurbished product, we do not advise that the item is water resistant and can still be water damaged, it states in the fine print of the listing that the item is not guaranteed to be water resistant”
While I understand Wowcher isn't the direct seller, I'm disappointed that they partner with companies that sell faulty products and have such poor customer service. This reflects negatively on Wowcher's reputation. The same advert appears again on Wowcher website through the same supplier and clearly states:
Track Fitness: With an in-built accelerometer, GPS, and heart sensors, easily track your activity and be encouraged to meet your fitness goals.
• Water Resistance Rating: Featuring a water resistance rating of 50 meters.
This watch can be worn during shallow-water activities up to 50-metres deep. Ideal for a splash in the pool! • Display: With a 30% bigger screen than previous models, this watch ensures easy viewing of notifications! • Powerful Battery: This refurbished Apple watch is fully functional with 80% of the battery capacity, ensuring all day use.

Only given 1 star because there is no…

Only given 1 star because there is no option to put 0. Complete fraudsters. Bought a refurbished Apple Watch through Wowcher and unfortunately Renew Electronics were the third party supplier.
Initially I realised I ordered the wrong watch (100% my fault) but I contacted Renew Electronics to cancel as explained in the T&C’s and asked for a refund. They chose to message me saying the refund was being processed (12 days), yet after approximately a month sent a faulty watch with scratches all over the face.
I sent the watch back, again asking for a refund…. Only for exactly the same thing to happen again. The watch wasn’t as badly damaged however that is irrelevant as I asked for a refund.
Do not do business with this tin pot company

If I could give no stars I would!!
Spoke with customer service about a watch I received which was supposed to be a Christmas present - not only did it look like it had been thrown across a car park it didn’t come box (which it was my fault for not checking so I can’t fault them for that part) - anyway I requested a refund and they said no problem.

Watch was received by myself on 11th Dec, they received it back on the 13th Jan. Without any communications whatsoever instead of refunding me they sent me a replacement, another scratched up watch. I contacted them asking if this was some sort of mistake? They responding 4 days later. Stating the fact I had missed the cut off of the 10th of Jan?

For ONE I had sent it on the 10th (unaware this was even my cut off) , of course it needs time for them to receive it.
For TWO I had been in hospital for 2 weeks over Christmas period - even without this, it’s poor customer service to not communicate prior to just sending a replacement, especially over a Christmas period when they KNOW not only people are busy but also delivery services.

Now I’m stuck with a scratched up watch which won’t be used from a company which refused to cooperate.

!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

It pains me to even give this place 1 star when it really should be -5 stars.
Sent me a watch that was supposed to be in excellent condition and when I received it a couple of day's before Christmas it looked like it had been worn on a building site for about 10 years all scraped and scratched.
I don't know how Renew Electronics manage to still trade or even sleep at night knowing how many people you are hurting due to not dealing with returns professionally, taking day's to reply and passing me to wowcher who wasn't much better and put me back to them but their customer service is awful.
I'm ok and don't let thing's like this get to me but there are others out there really struggling badly financially and you have no empathy or compassion at all for them.
The reviews on here speak for themselves Renew Electronics is easily the worst I have ever had to deal with.
Cowboys is an understatement.
I got my Refund from Wowcher thanks to the Facebook page Wowcher customer support (Jenny) who was very helpful but If not for her I would still be waiting like many others.

Thanks for absolutely nothing but stress Renew Electronics I wish you all the best of luck for your so called business moving forward because you're going to need it if you keep operating this way.

Goodbye!!!

Damaged item, no refund, no communication.

Received a seriously scratched up Apple Watch in improper packaging. Returned it in the allotted time, sent it tracked and signed for so I know they have it. Can’t get in touch with them and been waiting over 2 weeks for my refund. AVOID!!!! Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Check battery life!

The company need to ensure that the Apple Watches retain at least 24 hours of battery time. The Apple Watch 4 which I bought, only lasted 10 hours and despite having raised a complaint with Wowcher within 6 days of receiving the watch, Renew electronics would not give me a refund.

If I could give 0 stars I Honestly…

If I could give 0 stars I Honestly would ! Do not buy anything from this site on any partner sites like wowcher ! The product I got wasn’t as described at all so I wanted a refund. They took so long to get back to me about returning my item that when I sent it back it was once day past the return period. Now I can’t get a refund even thought I tried to return 30 days before the return period ended. Honstly do not buy from here you will end up with a product that isn’t the same as the description and you won’t even be able to return it either !

Can’t really fault them.

Can’t really fault them.. ordered a “good” Apple Watch Series 4, arrived a few days later than it advised but I think that was a Royal Mail issue, customer service good and helpful, quite a small deep scratch on the screen which you can’t see when lit. Overall pretty good.

Chromebook

Bought a cheap Chromebook from these guys … and for the price I paid it’s amazing. Doesn’t look like a refurb, runs well, and everything I needed was in the box. Great buy
