Absolute disgrace.

This company is an absolute disgrace in how they have handled the Everest administration. Received a text to confirm that the IT equipment needed to be returned either Tuesday 7th or Wednesday 8th May. Turned up today nobody on site and will not answer the phones !!

0 stars

Shame the rating isn’t 0-5 because they don’t even deserve 1 star. Lack of communication, lack of empathy, lack of character & lack of professionalism. I’m not sure in what world anyone would appreciate 20 minutes notice of unemployment as they were appointed administrators for Everest 2020 Ltd.

Unprofessional and lacking empathy

After leading the Complaints Team who managed the negative Trustpilot reviews left by our customers, I never thought I would be leaving a review for the company who handled the administration of my employer so poorly.

Whilst I am aware this is their job, I am unsure which aspect of their conduct most highlighted their lack of empathy and professionalism?

It may have been the monies our finance team confirmed had been set aside for our salaries disappearing.

Perhaps it was the less than 20 mins notice they gave to announce our redundancy at 4pm knowing a high proportion of our staff were finished for the day or field based.

Certainly it could have been when 1 of the 3 administrators began to announce our immediate redundancy and had to stop his statement to attend to his elderly mother, returning to the call to only show his complete frustration and contempt when staff may dare to have questions in relation to the matter.

My own personal opinion is it is the fact they committed to paying monies owed to staff from the date of administration to the redundancy announcement, yet repeatedly moving out the date for payment for employed staff and communication is severally lacking on the matter. Only installers and self employed reps have been paid, and commitment made to retained staff for payment next week.

It could have been the complete waste of money sending out duplicate copies of letters or incorrect letters to those made redundant - or when they changed the locks on premises, requested retained staff assist with the wind down and posted the new keys, to the premises they locked them out of!

Without doubt though they will be remembered for celebrating their “success” on various platforms whilst hundreds of employees remain out of pocket.

Hopefully lessons will be taken by all from this sad affair.

How would you like to be told that you…

How would you like to be told that you have been made redundant....
A teams call made at short notice?
The host being distracted working from home?
Cutting the teams call short because they couldn't cope with the questions?
Broken promises?
UTTER SHAMBLES....
THEY'RE ONLY HERE TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS!!

Absolute cowboys and charlatans

Absolute cowboys and charlatans!
Lying, untrustworthy and completely lack empathy.
Terribly organised and would rob off their own granny.
If you ever have the misfortune of dealing with these pretend administrators then I'd be prepared to be screwed over and crapped on from a height. Genuinely felt like this was their first time ever doing this. You'll be let down with false promises and assurance. Did not care that they made 350+ jobless with 45mins to go of the working day to be told the day before payday we weren't getting our month's wage we had just worked. Disappointing is an understatement considering so many people have slaved for their company for years.
An asset only deal?! The only assets everest has ever had has been its loyal and dedicated employees

Disgusting bunch of people

Disgusting bunch of people. The treatment of Everest staff during their administration was criminal. Staff told at 4.15pm that they have been sacked and have until 5pm the same day. Comments like “let’s crack on” with no empathy at all. Promised to pay 5 days wages the same week, then the following week, now a further week again. Boasting about selling the books to Anglian with no regard for the staff who have worked a full month without any pay at all. Absolute bandits.

Absolutely disgrace

Absolutely disgrace, given 1 hours notice of redundancy by a rushed teams call, no wages dispite being told we would be paid from when they were appointed, no reply to emails and no details given to help ex emplyees with the process, I pity anyone who this company deals with do not expect a good outcome

If I could give this lot 0 stars I…

If I could give this lot 0 stars I would. The treatment of former Everest employees has been nothing short of horrendous! Made redundant at 4pm on 29th April with zero notice! Told we would be paid for 4 days of work by the end of this week, what a shock.....still waiting. No response to emails. Boasting in LinkedIn about a great result securing a sale of some assets to Anglian when hundreds of valuable hardworking people have been left facing financial hardship at the hands of these clowns is absolutely disgusting! Releasing a statement advising they are supporting the ex employees is nothing but lies! I pity anyone who finds themselves in the same situation & has to deal with these heartless so called humans!

Terrible company

Terrible company. Handled the administration of Everest 2020 awfully. Staff haven’t been paid for over a month. Zero notice of redundancy given. RPS documentation not sent to relevant parties. Yes, they sold the order book, but don’t give a s**t about staff. Good luck if you find yourself being looked after by these crooks.

Appalling, Callous & Incompetent

Appalling! Told to keep on working right up to date they shut the company down. Called a meeting at the end of the month with 15 minutes notice for a 4pm meeting to tell us all we were redundant & not getting paid for the last months work or 2 months bonuses. A lot of staff were out on the road so couldn’t get into the meeting. The promised a week’s money via themselves when they had the company money in their account. It’s been there a while & absolutely no sign of anything coming our way. Happy to waste hundreds of pounds sending the same letter out by post 3 times to every employee though. Turned off access to laptops that were not company property as we had paid for them. Changed the locks in buildings with employees personal belongings in, then posted the new keys out to the buildings they’d just changed the locks on. No response to any emails I’ve sent. Callous abuse of a loyal & dedicated workforce. No doubt getting their money though

Totally untrustworthy

Totally untrustworthy. They blatantly lie saying that your a priority then give different people different information. People are waiting for money owed to them and it is their lowest priority. They make the government look competent.

Economical with the truth

Economical with the truth. If you are ever in the unfortunate position of working for a company that goes into administration, don’t expect this lot to act in your interests. They are purely for the fat cats. The workers can swing as far as this organisation is concerned.

Communication

Communication - shocking
Hi 5 themselves for doing a great job publicly when several hundred of people are redundant and not been paid what was promised in the suggested timeframes.
Integrity levels are non existent

I am now an ex employee of Everest

I am now an ex employee of Everest. The way these guys treated us was a shambles. Promised to pay us some money and didn’t. Said they would support us and didn’t. Do not answer emails. We were made redundant on a meeting we got 15 minutes notice of. When we were given notice the person announcing it was at home and his sick mother kept interrupting. Never has a 400 strong workforce been treated with such contempt.
