Avoid Rewaya Luxury Resort at all…
Avoid Rewaya Luxury Resort at all costs! We stayed here from 1st to 8th August 2026 (4 adults, 2 kids) and the experience was terrible from start to finish.
We originally booked Rewaya Inn, but on arrival, they told us it was overbooked and sent us packing to Rewaya Luxury. No transport, no guide—just told us to walk. We ended up wandering in the scorching heat for 30 minutes with small kids and my 65-year-old mother just to find the place.
When we finally got to reception, they dragged out our check-in for over 2 hours. They singled out my mum (who has an Indian passport with a valid visa) and demanded a second ID that nobody else in our group was asked for. My mum is a heart patient (2 open-heart surgeries) and was forced to sit there exhausted after hours of travel, while staff refused to even let her go eat until check-in was done. To top it off, when we checked out, management admitted they never even needed a second ID in the first place!
The staff's attitude was awful. When my wife tried to show an ID copy on her phone, a guy at the front desk aggressively shouted, "Don't you know English?" When she asked if he was being intentionally rude, he actually said "Yes." On top of that, male staff spent the whole week blatantly staring at the women in our family, making them feel super uncomfortable.
The petty treatment didn't stop there:
When a room key was left inside, reception refused to help unless I walked back up to the room with a bellboy to verify it.
At check-out, they held us up over a room towel, forcing me to run back up to get it myself even while luggage staff were already on their way up.
Shoutout to Hamidi and the Pizza Chef in the restaurant—they were the only decent, polite people there. The rest of the front desk and management were unprofessional and completely ruined our stay. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else!
