Yet Again! Great pricing and service from this company. Now I have all matching appliances that suit my needs perfectly. Last year they supplied and fitted my cooker and fridge and I have now just taken delivery of a washing machine. All previous purchases have surpassed expectations and the latest is at present being tested to the max. So far so good. Thoroughly recommend them for price, service and ensuring the products are right for you.

Sam has the most most patience and understanding, perfect customer service, enjoyed shopping there and prices were amazing

We have used sam at RGA for a many number of years. He is prompt, professional, reasonable and courteous. Cookestates use them for all their repair and appliance jobs. Wouldn’t hesitate to ever recommend..

The man in the shop was helpful and they managed to do a tricky washing machine installation in a small space on the 2nd floor efficiently and with minimal fuss, whereas I couldn't even get through on the 'phone to a popular national supplier. Four stars because due to traffic, they couldn't make the first timetabled delivery in time, which was obviously very annoying, but the driver rang me to tell me.

Sam I can’t express how much I appreciate his work. I worked for another company and when I left there to manage my own team I wanted to continue working with Sam and sourced his contact to bring him on to my panel of contractors and again he’s not let me down. Great work always Sam.

I don’t normally do reviews and really didn’t want to do one considering this is a local independent but experience has been so bad that I have to.

I moved to Stokie over 40 years ago, don’t think RGA have been there that long but feels like they have been, hard to miss, opposite the police station and next to the bagel shop.

First contacted RGA in the beginning of February, grill on my oven had stopped heating, the fan would come on but the element itself remained cold. Common range cooker brand, 7 years old and other than the grill, everything else working. I was quoted £95 (including callout) to fix.

The engineer came around next day, checked the grill and said the element had gone, simple to replace. I paid the call out fee and he said would be in touch once they can get the element.

2 days passed and nothing back so contacted RGA and Sam he said that would check with his engineer and call me straight back. I ended up calling 2 further times that day (never got a call back at any point). Called back the following day (9th of Feb), Sam apologised and said that they/his engineer couldn’t find the grill element. I told him that I was sure I had seen it online and within 60 seconds of a google search, had found 3 different suppliers including the cooker MANUFACTURER. I sent the details over to Sam, who checked with said engineer and confirmed the part was correct and asked me to purchase directly, which I did.

The engineer was now asking for £65 to fit the element, increase of £20…considering I had paid the call out and they probably hadn’t accounted for parking fees…I agreed.

The engineer came round (15th of Feb), fitted the grill in 10 minutes, turned the grill on and nothing…fan started up as previously but the new grill element was still cold. Engineer then said that it wasn’t the grill element, it was in fact something else that had gone (grill selector switch?). Advised that he would get the part (would take 2-3 days), not to worry that he would take care of it and asked me to call him directly and not to bother with RGA.

A week or so had passed, nothing back from engineer so trying calling….no answer so sent him a whatsapp text (23rd Feb), which he read but didn’t respond to. I was then away for a few days and when I returned, tried calling the engineer (1st Mar, surprise no answer) and text again…and this time received a response saying that he had ordered the part, it was showing as delivered but that it hadn’t been received so there was an investigation as to what had happened….ummm.

Sent him a couple more texts over the next few days, then finally responded on 8th of Mar asking me to contact Sam at RGA, he was aware of the issue.

Contacted Sam, no a clue who I was let alone of the issue. Advised that he would speak to the engineer and find out what the issue was…would call back in 5 minutes….

No call but an email later arrived saying that the grill selector switch was needed, could I order the part and they would fit. I responded saying that I don’t know what to order, could he send through the part number, which he said he would get over to me shortly. You would think was fairly straight forward considering that there was an ongoing investigation into the same part that had gone missing, still no part number as of the 23rd of March.

Again, don’t like writing this against a local established independent but whole experience has been nothing short of shocking and considering the overall ratings they have received, makes me question if they are all genuine.

I have works with Sam at RGA Appliances for just over a year. Very professional service and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new appliance to be fitted. He has never let me down.

Excellent service. RGA replaced my fridge on behalf of the landlord and did an excellent, professional job. The two gentlemen were so friendly and replaced the fridge within 10 minutes, and took care of the old one. Thank you Sam and your team.

What do you do when your cooker breaks down? You struggle on for a few weeks and finally decide you have to do something. When to Sam who talked us through options and we were sorted out in days.

So when the next week the washing machine starts to smoke, we needed help.

Again to RGA we go. Talked out of more expensive option and Sam identified exactly what we needed. A manufacturer we knew, a model we understood and a speedy delivery.

It's never great being landed with two big bills in one month. Going local to a knowledgeable retailer has taken all the stress out situation.

Delivery guys very helpful too, worked late to get the washing machine to us the next day and made sure they did all the checks that it wash working.

Excellent service. Oven broke on a Thursday evening. RGA was round the next morning - fixed it, and charged very fair price. Did not try to upsell - simply fixed the problem without fuss. Utterly professional.

RGA sourced the exact tumble dryer that I wanted and delivered it on a day I requested. They gave me a four hour window and said they'd call half an hour beforehand to say they were on their way. This was great because it meant I didn't have to stay in all afternoon for the delivery. From beginning to end everything ran very smoothly. Excellent service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.

15 yr old washing machine finally gave up on us on Sunday. Contacted RGA, they sourced the replacement model we wanted at a very competitive price and delivered and fitted it for us today. Covid-Safe regulations observed by fitter 100%. Friendly and professional company, would highly recommend.

Expert knowledge and excellent service. I was looking to replace an old gas cooker. Sam talked me through the various options, explained the pros and cons of each one, and answered all my questions. My choice of cooker was then delivered and installed, as agreed, and on time, by Sam's excellent and professional team.

quick and professional service for a broken oven

Purchased a new integrated washer dryer from Rga, with installation + recycling they was £70 cheaper then Ao and curry’s, as it was integrated machine they changed it over without a fuss, very professional and efficient would highly recommend.
