Richer Sounds - Chester Reviews 

Wanted to upgrade my stereo system without spending a fortune. Called Chester & talked to their support guy about Marantz amplifiers and CD players. I followed his advice & looked at a few before settling on a PM7000N amp & CD6007. After realising my vinyl player didn’t match the quality of the Marantz, had another chat with Chester support. An Argon TT-4MK2 was suggested. Wow, what a pleasure to listen to my, small but growing, vinyl collection. Thank you Chester Richer Sounds & for not breaking the bank with your recommendations

Fantastic service in person in the shop, the assistant helped me to understand the differences between oled and mini led TVs and gave a side by side visual demonstration - helping me to be confident in my decisions on purchase.

Signed up to VIP to get money off and rang the store just within the two weeks price promise period and got a refund of £90 as I'd seen it cheaper online!

I rang the Chester store on Wednesday to check the tvs I wanted to view were in store, I spoke to Ewan who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I visited the store today and again it was Ewan who answered my many questions, demonstrated the products and highlighted pros and cons of each product based on the information I’d provided. I left the store with a friendly handshake, an LG G5 tv and arranged delivery for an LG 5.1 theatre system. Fantastic customer experience from the start and I was told he would provide a courtesy call next week to make sure theatre system was delivered and I was happy with products, 6 year warranty, 30 days no risk trial and free delivery. Great old school customer service and a pleasure to deal with, I felt like a valued customer which is extremely rarely these days. Thank you Ewan and Richer sounds…..amazing buying experience!

I did not check your openings hours as I traveled from Aberystwyth to Chester on the train so I got the hour half early the guy let come in early which Am very great full , he gave me great customer service and gave some great choices and advise before I made my purchase I do happy in what I choose. I make a point to travel from wigan to the Chester branch because I have had nothing but excellent service from the guys there. I always get really good advice when I ring to speak to them and they always find me the best option within the price range that I am willing to spend. Hopefully I won't need to buy anything in the near future (I have just finished a major upgrade) but should something new come out that takes my fancy I won't hesitate to contact them.

Went into Richer sounds Chester for turntable and speakers, had a brand in mind but talking to the very knowledgeable sales team I changed my mind and bought a great entry level set up at a great price. On setting up the system I was stunned by the sound quality, deep rich bass tones with excellent clarity. Confession time I had bought a cheap system from Amazon before Christmas and was so disappointed in it that I have had to bin it, so I wanted the experience of talking to experts touching and hearing stuff. If your unsure what you need these are great people to talk to.

My parents wanted to replace an old 21" TV with something of similar size. At Chester there are no such TVs on display, but they had a small selection unseen and boxed and we agreed to take a 24" at less than £100 including a top up 6 year warranty. The TV was , for the price, fine except for the tinny sound which grated on the ears of my nonagenarian folks. Craig had said " if anything doesn't suit just bring it back". When we took it back, unboxed, Craig was absolutely true to his word, and said "I'll sort it later...what would you like to do". We upgraded to a 32" Philips....which brings us up to the mainstream TVs rather than the kitchen/caravan selection. This unit was also not on display in the shop and Craig repeated his words " if anything doesn't suit just bring it back". This one just fits the space and looks great. At less than £200 including an extended 6 year warranty this is perfect for my parents. No fuss and no paper-trail problems in making the change. Thank you to Richer Sounds for the way that you do business, and in particular to Craig for his advice and for making the whole thing work.

I have used Richer Sounds before visiting a localish shop. This time I phoned a central number and got diverted to a v helpful bloke in the Chester branch.
I discussed what i had in time and he suggested options of better spec TV from less popular makes. I took his advice and the Qled TV I got is excellent
