I opted to do click and collect. The guys in the shop were great but overall it took 4 working days to arrive. Way outside your SLA. It made me wonder about the point of having a shop that carries no stock. In my case I would have been much better having it delivered directly.

Dear Mr Harvie,
I'm so sorry to read that there was a delay on your click and collect order, which should have been ready the next working day for collection. We class Monday to Friday as working days for such orders, explained in the checkout.
From investigation there was an internal error on our system which delayed the order by a day but because it was then the weekend, this meant 4 calendar says until the item was available.
Please accept my sincere apologies for what happened, we have since dealt with the issue and will make sure we review the systems to prevent this reoccurring. In the meantime, our customer service team will contact you directly to resolve the matter to your satisfaction..

I bought a TV and decided to add surround sound to the system. I called and and spoke to a gentleman named Steve at the Exeter office. He absolutely went above and beyond, finding me the perfect setup and looked through the best deals for me and made a great saving against every other retailer.

We were recommended Richer Sounds, they didnt disappoint, Mark the manager was really helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy, the prices were on a par to online we'd seen, really happy with our purchase, we had a slight problem with the delivery company but after speaking with Mark this was very quickly addressed quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

Back in mid December Steve went out of his way to explain all I needed to know, even though the shop was technically closed, and I wasn’t ready to buy just yet. Great service both in store and on the phone, we had to exchange the original purchased TV (man purchase and it was too big for the stand) this was resolved by one call into customer services and then a visit back to store yo exchange) I would also add the tech guys instore really know their stuff and give great advice.

Excellent service, competitive prices
This is a place that reminds you of the value of shopping in a physical shop staffed by people who know their stuff and care about what they’re doing. From start to finish my latest experience was perfect, including a one hour demo session for a new amp set up to match my home setup. Never was there any pressure to buy and Richer will match any price, so there’s no reason to go elsewhere. As a final reminder of the value of in-house expertise, ChatGPT, YouTube, Reddit and the manual all misled me when setting up the new kit when I got home, but a quick exchange with the Richer team had everything working perfectly.
