Next day collection from the store - easy and convenient

Staff listened and produced the stuff I wanted. They new the specs of their products. I could rely on its quality, otherwise they wouldn't stock it. No surrounding the core products with profitable distracting tat. Good pricing.

Having used the Audeze Maxwell, it easily stands out as one of the best wireless headsets available today. In fact, I was so profoundly impressed with its performance that I returned to buy a second pair as a gift for my wife! Here is my breakdown across the key areas:

Soundstage: The planar magnetic drivers create a remarkably wide and detailed soundstage with crisp separation, making both games and music feel deeply immersive.

Latency: Thanks to the dedicated 2.4GHz ultra-low latency dongle, audio lag is completely imperceptible, which is vital for competitive gaming.

Battery: The battery life is phenomenal. Offering around 80 hours on a single charge means charging is a rare afterthought rather than a daily hassle.

Microphone: Voice pickup is extremely clear. While I initially noticed a slight clicking artifact in specific chat applications, local raw recording tests proved this was strictly a software/app configuration handling issue rather than a hardware flaw—the physical microphone hardware itself is completely solid.

Comfort: Excellent build quality with solid weight distribution and comfortable ear cups, making long gaming sessions effortless.

Combined with the stellar and always reliable customer service from the Richer Sounds Holborn team, this is an absolute 5-star purchase!

I had an excellent experience with Richer Sounds.

Although the product I wanted wasn’t available in the store, the sales assistant found it in their stock system and ordered it for me. Since I was visiting the UK as a tourist, I was hesitant to have it delivered to the place where I was staying. Instead, they arranged for it to be delivered to the Richer Sounds store, which made me feel much more comfortable.

The sales assistant also made sure that I had received the confirmation email before I left the store, which I really appreciated.

The product arrived at the store much sooner than expected, and I was able to collect it without any issues. I was a little nervous about paying for the item before receiving it, but the entire process was smooth, efficient, and completely hassle-free.

I went into the store expecting to order something and one was already in store, so took it away immediately. The service was friendly and helpful.

Really helpful staff, enthusiastic and patient...suspect we ended up paying a hair more than was really needed but the TV and soundbar are of solid quality and everyone loves the goods...just a shame the store is small so you cannot see all the TVs in advance. Nevertheless I think its well worth buying from these guys as they'll make sure you get some decent kit and it stops you from possible false economies online...

What a fantastic experience! Steve and Alan are two of the finest customer service colleagues to ever draw breath - what the former lacks in hair, he more than makes up for in charm, knowledge and charisma. Came in with questions, came out with answers and most importantly the headphones I wanted. If you choose to shop anywhere else, that's your problem - I'll be getting all my hi fi needs satisfied by Richer Sounds Holborn.

Our assistant was perfect, fading into the background while we listened (in the very comfortable studio) but being immediately and helpfully available when we wanted further advice. We were delighted with the models available for trial. The purchase and delivery systems worked perfectly and promptly.

Sent an e- mail the night before and the item was ready and waiting the next day. A good price, great looking and sounds terrific too.
