Alex the technician who reset my Bose soundbar was very competent knowledgeable and extremely helpful full marks to him many thanks

Popped into the shop, as my wireless headphones were playing up. The staff were only too happy to test them in several ways to confirm that they needed replacing. Following that they didn't try and upsell me a high range replacement pair, but talked me through some potential choices in a similar price bracket to my previous ones.

Walked out having bought a perfect like for like replacement, so very happy bunny.

The item I required was ordered and I received it the next day.

Ok, let me just start by saying that Richer Sounds themselves are amazing. The prices are great and the staff are super friendly.

My issue with them is the awful delivery services they use.

On this occasion the delivery company is called Furdeco and they’re terrible.

I paid £9.95 for next working day delivery, was told it would be Friday so I booked the day off, waited in and then that afternoon I got an email from the delivery company saying it’s now coming on Monday 5th Jan.

Now I have to book ANOTHER day off and lose a day’s pay so I can take the delivery.

In fairness to Richer Sounds themselves they refunded me the delivery cost and did say they can’t understand why Furdeco have done this.

But that doesn’t negate the fact I’ve lost a day’s wages.

I had been in contact with the Tunbridge Wells Richer Sounds store since end of 2024, about getting a new turntable. I had an Eclipse TT430 turntable (for those who don't know this was a RS own brand), which I bought in late 1994 (Holborn store) and kept until I decided to purchase Denon DP300F. I am very pleased so far with the Denon, being fully auto, and having a heavy mat and platter helps with good sound quality as does the stock cartridge. The setup was a bit tricky, as the tone arm is fairly light, but I also have a number of records that require cleaning given their age and the stylus is sensitive to dust, so needed to adjust anti-skate. Overall I am pleased. This is an ex-demo and I like to thank both Alex and Calum (who served me) and Josh their manager who I had been in contact with in the past. Happy New Year! (The turntable is using a Pro-Ject Phono Box MM), which I purchased from Tunbridge W. store 10 years ago and is connected to my JVC UX-DM9DB, which was bought in Jan 2008. I will consider upgrading the cartridge in the future.

I ordered an LG TV using click and collect but changed my mind to deliver at home. I phoned Richer customer services and asked for the change and offered to pay for the upgraded delivery, it should have been another £10, but they declined me paying extra and reordererd another TV to be delivered direct to my home.
Very happy with the service and the new TV which is to supplement our existing 15 year old LG TV bought from... you guessed it, Richer Sounds.

I wanted to share our experience about 10days after receipt - a very positive one.
We're still learning about using the set. The printed instructions are skeletal, but those available on the set rich.
Worth explaining that we're using both Freely (for the first time) and Astra Satellite for FTA programmes, cable connected to 150 Broadband rather than using wifi. Experience with both has been rock solid. We had expected to use Satellite as our default, but in fact are using Freely most of the time. But there are more FTA Satellite channels than we expected, with access to some that we didn't know were FTA, so our default source may change depending on how our channel preferences work out.
As a couple in our mid-80s, picture & sound quality are rather important. The 4K display is superb and upscaling from SD formats is also good, though we still have some picture adjustments to make to best suit our taste. When comparing TV specs before making our choice, I hadn't appreciated that 2x 15W was available on this set. We're grateful that there is ample volume to handle the occasional programme with unusually quiet sound. A further welcome surprise was that the subtitles that we routinely value on all but News programmes can be set to larger than standard size.
One feature we have recently started testing is the Voice commands allowing change of channel etc, using the non-Alexa option in our case. Very convenient. We also like the largely black display on radio channels.
So on our initial experience would we recommend this TV? Wholeheartedly. And incredible value.
We'd also like to thank the guys at our local branch (Tunbridge Wells) for their help, and also Customer Service, and staff at Maidstone, Reigate, & Brighton branches who all helped us as we sought a set when few were available.

The store was very helpful. Rang to find out about stock made the order and arrived for collection when they said. Was very easy to make the order over the phone and staff very helpful.

I went into the Tunbridge Wells store for new speakers to go with my recently purchased pro-ject debut carbon deck that I purchased online at Richer Sounds but wanted to hear what the wharfedale diamond speakers sounded like. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they set the speakers up for me to listen too and I purchased them and had them delivered free of charge. Would highly recommend the speakers and Richer sounds
