Excellent products, excellent service

Buying a bra from Rigby & Peller is not unlike buying an appliance from Bosch: you get a high quality item, promptly despatched, and are kept informed of delivery progress. And in each case, both product and service are reliably excellent; not cheap, but well worth the extra.
R&P's sizing is reliable too. Once you've figured out which size you take using their nifty calculator, you can be absolutely certain that any bra you buy from them in that size will be a perfect fit. After years of trying on high-street bras that vary wildly in size, shape, and fit from one style to the next, this is SUCH a relief.
Finally, the returns policy is great. Easy to follow, and free.

I measured correctly and ordered my size based on that and they were too small. I have in previous years ordered from you due to the quality of prima donna and I’m awaiting my return to be delivered and then I will re-order the next size up.

Delivery ruined experience

Delivery ruined experience. UPS didn’t deliver to address assume they just couldn’t be bothered as all previous orders were successful delivered. Cost me time and money to collect parcel.

Poor Quality for the Price and a Blaming Response — I Had to Repair It Myself

I purchased three Revolution bras from Rigby & Peller in May 2022, paying over £100 each. Two have lasted well, but one developed damage around the wire despite being washed exactly as instructed — always on a hand‑wash setting and placed inside a protective net bag.

When I contacted customer service, I was told the damage was “due to being washed in the machine”, which felt unfair given that I followed their care guidance. I also explained, as I did back in 2023, that I cannot easily travel to the store due to long‑term difficulties following a brain haemorrhage. This was not acknowledged at any stage.

I sent the bra in for inspection. Their alterations team confirmed it cannot be repaired, yet customer service still refused to replace it, insisting it was caused by aftercare and outside their 6‑month policy. In the end, I had to stitch and repair the bra myself just to be able to wear it again.

For a brand charging over £100 per bra, I expected far better durability and a more supportive response. Instead, I’ve been left feeling blamed rather than helped. Very disappointing experience.

As your purchase dates from 2022, it falls outside the legal warranty period. Nevertheless, we still carried out a full assessment. Our teams are trained to recognise specific damage patterns, and whenever there is any uncertainty, the item is also reviewed together with the manufacturer. Only after this combined evaluation is a final conclusion made.

In this case, it has been confirmed that the damage was not caused by a quality issue, which means the claim cannot be accepted.

When we believe that an item cannot be repaired, or not in a way that would allow it to be worn comfortably again, we always communicate this honestly.

Our customer service team can offer guidance, but is not able nor authorised to provide a replacement when a claim has been formally declined.

We regret that we cannot assist further and we understand your disappointment.

My first visit to the St John's Wood shop!

On Friday April 10th, 2026 I attended the St John's Wood shop. The service provided by ALL three ladies was absolutely excellent. Krzysztofa, Chloe and Sabrea were first class in providing a professional and comfortable service to ensure my visit was met with the highest standard. I look forward to my next visit when I introduce my daughter to the ambiance of R&P.
