Its way past time that rightmove updated it search options to stop estate agents manipulation of the results e.g. allowing an entry showing “offers over” without the ability to remove those results... See more

Rightmove you need to vet the agents and the properties those agents are selling on your platform in more detail. We've just lost out on a property after spending over £3K on fees, only for the survey to uncover serious structural issues, the agent to deny these issues and the property to be back on Rightmove at the previous asking price without any mention of the serious structural issues uncovered. The agent in question is Lakshmi from West Wales properties and the property in question is Bronhawen, Pontgarreg, near Llangrannog. Surely Rightmove must insist on seeing the results of surveys or should press agents for a more transparent summary of the properties advertised?

Jordan….. that’s my review, just Jordan
Totally charming, amazing customer service, so happy with the utility bill I signed up for, it felt honest and genuine and I couldn’t happier!
Take the wages from the big guns, and give some to him! I wouldn’t have signed if it wasn’t for him, I know how these things work but after speaking to him and how genuine he was, I did it

Big shout out to Rightmove's own star Landlord and Tenant Services Executive - Danni O. Danni is a consummate professional, extremely knowledgeable and expert in her field. Danni went above and beyond in her job motivated by her desire to ensure I had the appropriate policy and cover for my property. I was most impressed by the initiative and trouble Danni went to in her natural desire to help. I hope her bosses take note! Danni does a great job and is a fantastic brand ambassador and advert for Rightmove. Many thanks again & keep up all the good work! RH

I am looking at selling, but the cost of the add through an egent is ridiculous. If you want to buy, better look at Zoopla or onthemarket because I cannot afford to sell at that price a property that I am selling cheap.

I have moved many times but have never had such a good Estate Agent as Abode Estate Agents in Westcliff.
It took 6 months to complete the sale due to a chain of 4 but Jeffrey and Ellison were so helpful and it helped so much to have Jeffrey contacting us all once a week for an update to see if he could help in any way. This made an enormous difference to everything just to know someone was in your corner. Many thanks to all the amazing staff. I would recommend Abode to everyone.

We have contacted Rightmove multiple times to try and get the previously marketed prices of our house removed as its causing problems with our potential buyers. The feedback we get is because it was put on the market incorrectly by Dawsons auctions for £225,000 instead of £275,000 Dawsons never sold the property and they haven't removed the information despite numerous requests. We then marketed again with another estate agent who also got the amount wrong and put it at £285,000 so our potential buyers are commenting that they're confused by the different marketing prices and want to know why it was marketed so low and then so high. We've tried to explain but people don't trust and they want it coming from the official site. We have asked and asked and complained and Rightmove still refuse to remove the previously marketed price even though the house didn't sell and we are no longer with any of the estate agents. We feel like this is very poor business practice and not customer centered at all. It is having a direct impact on our house sale and we are working with a solicitor to file a complaint with the courts. It's a real shame that people have to go to the extreme now to get any co-operation out of companies.

Took 5 days to respond to a error query and fix it. By comparison Zoopla did this same in under 12 hours

Spoke to a lovely advisor called Kane at rightmove referencing done nothing but helped us answered all questions we had and kept ringing back to keep us updated and waited patiently more than several times for emails to come through to confirm everything was present and correct before ending calls well spoken and polite caring with bubbly energy. Couldn’t have had anyone to deal with it

What an unfriendly, not useful user experience with the new map blobs, trying to be Zoopla or airbnb. It is near impossible to search an area and see where you would like to look - the neat pin before was absolutely fine. It helped to target an area/street - edge of urban, etc. Now, it's just a mess of boxes with prices all top of each other that sometimes cover the entire area you are trying to look at. Why fix something that wasn't broken and gave Rightmove an advantage or other competitor sites. Too frustrating to use, I'm afraid.
I did email a complaint but did not hear anything back, so am leaving a review here instead.

Rightmove used to be my first call when searching for a new home till they started referencing. I sent my documents in but they couldn’t add up. I had to do their work for them. Then they said my landlord wouldn’t give me a reference but the landlord said they never contacted him. I’ve gone off Rightmove.

Sold images data is wrong. I purchased my property in 2022, then In 2025 I listed the property for sale but due to no interest I took the property off the market.
A week after taking it off the market I went on to the sold section of Rightmove’s website and noticed that the images of my property from 2022 had been replaced with the images of 2025.. Which are not reflective of what the property looked like in 2022, and the thousands of pounds spent to get the property as it is today. Which was reflected in the resent asking price.
This was not the first time I had listed my property since purchased, I had listed earlier in the year with a different agent.
I can only assume that the image the first agent took had been uploaded on to the sold section as well, which could explain for the lack of interest when last put on the market.
I have asked Rightmove to put back the images that are relevant to the time and date last sold, but they say this is not possible.
They have said they can remove the images, but will only do so if I supplying them with reams of my Data, which I refuse to do.
Therefore the information attached to my property is fundamentally incorrect. ....and buyers, sellers, estate agents or anyone looking for price comparisons of houses in the UK are not see the fact about my property, of which I have no doubt is not an isolated case.
I strongly believe that the reason there was so little interested in my property when listed for the second time is due to Rightmove, misleading Sold section of their website.
So how I see it the sold section of Rightmove is not fit for purpose and is blatantly misleading.
The date of my experience was the last communication I had with Rightmove, who have now closed my complaint, meaning the false misleading images of my property are still on their listing and will remain indefinitely are totally unacceptable
