Its way past time that rightmove updated it search options to stop estate agents manipulation of the results e.g. allowing an entry showing “offers over” without the ability to remove those results... See more

My issue is in regard to the website ,specifically house prices and local info section. The information provided for my house suggests its value in is the low £170,000s despite a home report stating house is worth in excess of £285.00. This is the price set by a qualified surveyor , not me! Their website is , therefore misleading and could potentially dissuade buyers who don't realise this. Despite contacting Rightmove on 2 occasions they refuse to correct the info as it hasn't come from them. Not sure how they can claim to be the best place for information when it is so clearly not.

Those that are listing Leasehold properties, make sure that the Lease/Rent/Service charges are explained upfront on the listing or link to the contract... and without the need to ask!
I see that the Leasehold properties may be hidden with either Hide Buying schemes or Tenure types that you want to see...

Not very forward thinking or ESG (environmental, social, and governance) friendly not to be able to search for a property by its EPC rating!

I am warning anyone concerned about privacy, image rights, and lawful advertising — Rightmove refuses to remove photographs of your home even after you withdraw consent in writing, if you were not the person who created the listing.
In my case, photographs of the inside of my private home — showing my possessions — were uploaded by an estate agent without my permission. I notified Rightmove in writing, clearly stating that I did not consent to the continued use of my images and that the content breached my rights under the UK GDPR (UK Data Protection Act 2018) and potentially copyright law.
Their response? They refused to act, claiming they are “just an advertising website” and cannot remove content unless instructed by the estate agent — even when notified that the agent’s use is unauthorised and potentially unlawful.
This approach not only ignores an individual’s rights over their own images, it also risks breaching the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (in force from April 2025), which require full and accurate material information in property advertising and prohibit misleading or unlawful practices.
The implication is clear:
✅ Your home could be photographed and listed without your permission.
✅ If you demand removal, Rightmove will ignore you unless the agent agrees.
✅ Even if that content breaches data protection law, they will leave it online.
This is not responsible practice from one of the UK’s largest property platforms. If you value your privacy, ownership of your images, and truthful advertising, be extremely cautious. Once your images are online with Rightmove, you may have no control over their use.

Fantastic!
They were easy to contact, clear on what they needed and answered everything we asked clearly. Transparent with the process, never felt unsure on what stage in the application we were on. Jordan made it all the more easier, feeling like we were given beyond the standard service.

Rightmove have my flat listed incorrectly under flats sold. They had photos of a grotty flat which wasn't mine. They said it was a 1 bedroom flat when it's 2 bedroom and therefore had a ridiculously low valuation. I asked them to amend this . They said they couldn't because their info was supplied by an outside company. That's abdication of responsibility. They choose whom they pay for info. I alerted them to the fact that both Move Market and Zoopla have my flat correctly listed and at a MUCH higher value . Right move have finally taken down the photos of another flat, but refuse to change any of the other incorrect info like the size of the flat or the fact it's 2 bed not one bed.

I list out all the houses that I want to buy. After that, I look at the map and change it back to Leasehold again. I don't want to buy a Leasehold property; why force me to show me that? I am looking for a house with a garden, so I set up the search again, and I see flats without a garden, which are Leasehold. Do something with your search engine because this is horrible. If I want a house with a garden, I can't look for it, or how big a house is and a garden. Horrible search system. I want to put in a number what I How big is it? It's there, why i cant search it?

I do not know why?, After being advised to register in Rightmore, because it caused an excellent impression to a friend of mine. My experience has been different. It is natural for one customer to ask about the property before viewing it. But I only received a reply for one of the properties that I chose. Sad because it looks like an organized business, but in my experience, it was like a ghost firm
