Ordered on different occasions for items I needed at the time. On all of these occasions there was a “stock error” and item never received. Poor customer service and weird emails. Avoid.

Bought a cruiser board off for a great price. Really lovely shop and the owner Barry is an absolute lovely guy. Would highly recommend this shop!

Just bought a stunt scooter and had great service. The owner even erected my scooter for me.

We needed a new scooter for our son and this is well out of our comfort zone. We had found the scooter he wanted online, but we saw that there was a local store that not only had it in stock, but had it cheaper than anywhere else. We went in, not knowing what to expect, and we could not have been made to feel more welcome and appreciated. Really friendly and helpful. Genuinely, the service was second to none, and the enthusiasm that was being radiated made me want to take home a skateboard for myself! Loved the place and will 100% go back as first port of call for anything scooter or skateboard related for our son. Thanks so much 🙏

Popped in to get some advice on why my surfskate board was creaking, Barry was really helpful and gave some great advice. Also had a chat about different board types and helmets, really approachable/friendly and knowledgeable without pressure to buy. Will definitely be back!

I was about to order skates online but had lots of questions. Was absolutely delighted to discover the new Ripped Knees store in Heaton. Barry was an absolute star, letting me try on various options and answering all my questions. The skates were ordered in, and arrived quickly. The plan was to get an immediate refund if they didn’t fit, and Barry would get a different size, but they were perfect. It’s so useful to be able to handle the product before buying, especially as I was trying to decide between different sized wheels. I’m delighted with my purchase and highly recommend visiting the store if you are local.

Turned up to the new shop in heaton road with my stepson to get his new scooter, spoke to Barry to get advice on best model for park riding, offered a few suggestions in differing colours, Barry was very helpful, made better as he was ready to close the shop and came back in to help us

I was looking around thinking of getting a skateboard for work since bikes were not my thing. I stumbled across Ripped Knees which happened to be close to where I live and seemed to have very good reviews. I came in person to ask about the skateboards since I am a complete beginner and wanted to know what would be best for me. As soon as I got in, I was greeted with TONS of helpful information such as the differences between traditional and cruiser skateboards, as well as how fast I would be able to learn on each of them. Even though there were pricey options that he could have directly guided me to, he showed me all the price ranges and why they were priced that amount, as well as hours practical it would be for me if I were to buy x or y skateboard. I was instantly sold on the idea of getting one on the spot due to how happy I was with the service, knowing I'd be most satisfied with my purchase. On top of that, there was no push to buy safety gear but said to be advisory, which is great to hear since being a beginner, I'm bound to do things wrong. Very happy with the service they provide as well as my well worth purchase! They may do scooters as mainstream but they were never hesitant to tell me anything about skateboards, definitely have a look if you're thinking on getting one!

Great customer service. After being ripped off for a scooter that never arrived from Skatehut we managed to get our money back. Reordered the same product for cheaper from Ripped Knees and my experience was great, Barry was excellent with great contact throughout. He went out of his way to make sure my 8 year old son got his scooter asap, even giving up some of his own time to do so. He gave stickers and a couple of wrist bands to my son and he’s over the moon. Great service, I can not recommend them enough. I will be back.

I found RippedKnees after my boy set me the challenge of finding a Pandemonium V2 Scooter Deck at short notice, I ordered the item in the hope it would arrive in time for his birthday which, under the company’s standard delivery timescales, this would’ve been unlikely, so I chanced my arm and sent a message using their webpage contact form, Barry, replied very quickly and had already expedited the delivery and taken the time to message me back to inform me of this, and then followed up the following day to confirm it was out for delivery. What an amazing service. If you’re still unsure if you should use them, simply google RippedKnees Reviews. Without doubt my new go-to whilst my boy is in his scooter phase. Made an order on their website for my sons birthday.Sone how a mistake happened and we didn't get our complete order (sometimes sh!t happens) .Emailed Barry in sales who was very apologetic and professional sorted it all out in double time.

Wrong scooter was sent out by mistake and they immediately sent me a new one without waiting for me to return the old one. So trusting. Very efficient and apologetic.
