Covid hit my business hard and these loan sharks charged me £3800 late fee charge when we was all in lockdown
My contract has now ended 5 years later not once did they send me a vat statement and they have the cheek to charge you £50 every year for this

I have been a customer of Rivers for years now, and they are by far the worst company I have dealt with. They overcharge on lease deals, and on top of this they always make so many mistakes. The latest mess up is that they didn’t remove a charge off my property when they were supposed to. As a result they have put massive stress on my new remortgage deal, and ultimately I’ve lost thousands all thanks to Rivers and their incompetent processes. I deal with so many financial companies, and they are by far the worst. I would stay clear!!!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this company. They charged me exorbitant interest rates that felt like a complete rip-off. The lackluster customer service I received only added to my frustration. Whenever I tried to address my concerns, I was met with indifference and unhelpful responses.

To make matters worse, their contract was filled with unclear terms and conditions, making it nearly impossible to understand the true costs and implications of their services. It's astonishing how a company can operate with such lack of transparency and disregard for their customers' well-being.

I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore other options. There are reputable companies out there that value their customers and operate with integrity. Unfortunately, this company is not one of them.

We recently decided to acquire a lot of new office equipment as our business is expanding quite rapidly and we approached Rivers.

They could not have been more helpful and we completed not one, but two transactions.

Those who have complained about Rivers give me the impression of being quite naive business-wise - I mean, what businessman doesn't read the small print, particularly when borrowing money to finance an important purchase ?

Blaming the finance house isn't a reason to give a poor review - surely it's the responsibility of the borrower to ensure that he or she knows what they are doing.

If they don't, then perhaps they should consider a different career path ?

But I can honestly say that Rivers have been professional, clear, concise, and very helpful.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Never completely read the small print. I was sold a loan and a lease agreement with a smile and have regretted it ever since. The Agreements did not even have an interest rate specified and upon numerous requests was not provided with one. When I could not keep up with the repayments because of Covid, Rivers refused to listen and help. Completely misled by the broker and Rivers. I urge anyone who's thinking of going with these peopl e- STOP! you will end up paying double for what you take out. If it's of any solace i have reported them to the Ombudsman.

Our business - as many - was hit hard by COVID - 19. We spoke to a chap there called Rishi who was very sympathetic with our plight.The help, efficiency and understanding from Rivers Leasing Plc was second to none.Would 100% recommend!

Never get anything off these as they rob you blind, I signed up for a coffee machine, vending machine and slush puppy machine, I got told the lease was over 3 years ( never read the small print,) now I know it’s 5 years at a cost of over £400 pm, costing me £24000, these 3 machines total value £13000 new, these are scandalous prices, over the last couple of months my Buisness has been closed due to covid-19 I’ve rang these guys to try and get some help while on lock down- self isolation to be told they can’t help me and I have to stick to the agreement of over £400 pm, these are a joke from start to finish, they just want your money and don’t give a crap about customers who struggle.

If you are a finance broker looking for a new/additional funding provider then Rivers are a great choice.

Been working with them for just over a year now and they are very commercial in their outlook. Small, friendly team plus you can actually speak with the underwriters.

Highly recommended.
