Friendly - made the process easy.

We used RJR in Denver to obtain one new passport and get two travel visas to Russia.

In summary: poor communication during the visa application process, visas took more than twice the promised time, my signature was forged on my new passport, and my old passport was not returned to me (causing identity theft concerns). Given our experience with RJR we can not recommend them to anybody else.

Regarding the Russian Visas:
Their website promises 20 days, the verbal promise was 2-3 weeks. After the replacement passport arrived, it took 48 days (nearly 8 weeks) for our visas to arrive. They arrived 3 days before our departure date, making us very nervous as we had started the process with plenty of time. After 27 days had elapsed (giving them an additional week for standard processing delays), I emailed to ask for the status. For at least a week my emails went unanswered. I finally called the "emergency" number, and was at first treated with condescension, until they noticed that our visas were passed their promised due date. Then action started and we received our visas 12 days later.

Geopolitical tensions were used as an excuse, but our application window allowed for the closing of the SF Russian Embassy and should have been processed well before the situation escalated in late March. Additionally, if processing was delayed because of these tensions, that should have been communicated to us sometime shortly after their promised 20 day window, rather than us having to call them. We were also told, after we started to complain, that the visas were processed relative to departure date so we should not have expected them within the 20 day window anyway because we applied too early. Again, this may be the case, but that possibility was never communicated to us until our visas were delayed.

Regarding the replacement passport:
This process was very quick, and communication good. However, when I arrived at the airport to leave on our trip, I noticed that my signature had been forged on the passport. I realized then that they needed my signature on my new passport to apply for the Russian visa. Nobody contacted me to see if I could come in and sign my new passport or if we could Fedex back and forth to get my signature. So now I have a technically legally-invalid, forged-signature passport.

Finally, my old passport was never returned to me and no explanation for why was given after I asked in an email. For security and identity theft reasons, I am uncomfortable not knowing where it is.

RJR secured a 3 year Russian visa during a difficult time for relationships between Russia and the US. I'm grateful to have this handled in a seamless and timely manner. All I needed to do was provide a few documents and RJR handled it from there until the Visa was in my hands.

Super easy process for my Chinese Visa. Very happy with the service. It only took two weeks to the day. Was a little miffed though with the sticker RJR put on the back of my passport. Fortunately it came off easily. Don't put stickers on people's passport. That's like a cardinal sin.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience, and would recommend them to everyone needing a passport!

We were able to get our daughter's passport processed quickly. The staff is very helpful in walking you through the various steps, explaining what to expect and how to handle the identification verification piece. We'd use RJR International again if we ever need a passport in a rush.

I have used RJR several times both for Visa's and Passports. Current service was obtaining three year multi-entry visa for Russia. They have provided efficient and seamless service on each occasion where I have used them. I will go back to them next time I have a need, and would not hesitate to recommend the to others.

Minor snafu.

We had to call to get the tracking number for our order versus them just sending automatically as promised. Beyond that the service was excellent.
