Terrible Quality/Customer Service…

Terrible Quality/Customer Service Avoid!

Bought a laptop and almost immediately things went bad. In one year the power brick (?!) failed - started buzzing and getting hot - the internal speaker failed, and then finally the motherboard started having issues leading to frequent crashes and Bluescreens leading to a final, irrecoverable BSOD.

In all cases Tech support stonewalls, until they absolutely have to admit fault. I sent a video of the noise the power brick was making and was asked if that was 'noisier than usual'. Power bricks are silent!! In no case was satisfaction had in less than a month after asking for help.

The motherboard has been the worst, since that will amount to essentially a full warranty replacement. After 5 months I've basically given up. They are currently blaming the Operating system and settings. They had me send (at my expense ~$150) the laptop into their repair center, where they blanked my hard drive and reinstalled windows. They're literally blaming software they installed and configured rather than admit there's something bad in the hardware they sold me.

Great experience with R&J Tech!

This was my first time building a laptop and R&J Tech was great. Their customer service (email, live chat and phone) was great. I got a W150HNQ barebone and outfitted it with parts purchased from Amazon, eBay, etc. All in all, everything was excellent and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a barebone notebook!

Amazing customer service and customer care. Great prices!

I ordered a laptop from this company after researching many different laptop retailers on the internet: newegg.com (their customer service is also excellent by the way), toshiba, dell, hp, IBM, etc. rjtech.com allowed me to better customize my order to fit my needs. I've been building desktop computers for 8 years but this was my first laptop build, and rjtech made the order process easy. Once the laptop arrived, I noticed that there were three stuck pixels (pixel displayed only one color). Most companies require anywhere from 5-15 pixels to be stuck/dead before they'll replace your screen. rjtech.com worked with me and answered my questions promptly to get me a new screen at a price that was better than I could find anywhere else to get it fixed. Thanks rjtech.com!
