A friend of mine referred RMNJ and I cant recommend them enough. They are highly professional, efficient and ready make extra efforts to complete the deal. Like many others we went through the uncertain period of Coronavirus. Despite the reduced staff capacity during the lockdown, the brilliant team of Emma, Katherine, and Elsa continued to respond to our emails in a timely manner and chased the seller's solicitors regularly to ensure the deal goes through smoothly. Also, the price they quoted had no additional unexpected fees. We were impressed and will certainly go with them again.

I recently sold a house and received an excellent service. David Meyer was both professional and approachable. Cost very competitive. I would highly recommend rmnj

Recently used these Solicitors to buy and sell property , the price was very reasonable.
Things were a little bit slower due to the lock down and 70% of the staff were apparently furloughed, which couldn’t be helped and we understood that. We usually spoke to a conveyancer called Dayna who was polite and Informative.
The only negative comment that I’m going to make and the reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is that I phoned up once ( during lock down ) asked for an update and a couple of other things and was told (by someone who I’m not going to name ) “ there’s a pandemic ya know, people are dying “ Did she really think I wasn’t aware??? I found this comment very unprofessional and after that I really didn’t want to speak to her again, tried to speak to Dayna only . On the whole though, other than that, no problem and we recently moved.

We recently bought a house and had a fairly tricky same-day exchange and completion that was complicated by the pandemic and the introduction of lockdown right after our moving date was selected. There was also an issue on the day as there was an unexpected hiccup further up the chain, and at one point it appeared that our move might not happen at all. Louise Jones, our solicitor at RMNJ, was brilliant throughout. She kept us updated and kept chasing to ensure that we were able to move as planned.
Before buying this house we had had an offer accepted on another house, which fell through due to structural issues with the property. For that transaction we had instructed a local high street solicitor, under the belief that we would get better service from someone local. When the transaction failed we decided to try a different tactic, and were much much happier with the service from RMNJ. Louise and the team were excellent.

Excellent solicitors - highly recommended. My solicitor was Victoria and Elsa was also helping with the sale of my property. I cannot fault the solicitors. Smooth process. All emails answered in a very timely manner. Would definitely use again in the future.

I purchased my first property starting in September 2019 and were referred to RMNJ from a friend who has also purchased recently. Being a first time buyer I had no idea what I was doing. Gemma and the team were constantly keeping me up to date and very reactive when things were in ‘our hands’ to deal with and always explaining the process and what we were waiting for etc. Even with a last minute spanner thrown into the works by my lender they were a pleasure to deal with and made me feel sane in many moments when I wanted to freak out. They never got stressed with me constantly calling, even the telephone reception staff were lovely to deal with. I’m going to miss talking to them all and would not hesitate in recommending them or using them again :)
We utilised RMNJ after finding them on the "Really Moving" comparison website for a relatively simple transaction (first time buyers buying a property with no forward chain).
Firstly, they stuck exactly to the original quoted price with no additional unexpected fees. Communication was good throughout, between them, us, sellers and estate agents, with a dedicated transaction lawyer and assistant on our case rather than being passed round the office. Searches recommended were correct for the property and they did not recommend lots of additional unnecessary works just to generate fees. Dealt with a query regarding building works indemnity and gave us a range of options to help with this. Overall really pleased as they offered a stress free experience for first time buyers.

If you are looking for a well-priced, professional yet very human / empathetic and patient conveyancers, look NO further. I have been so impressed by the whole set-up at RMNJ; communication largely by email with such quick response times. However, I could phone and either talk immediately with my conveyancer or her support team (who knew my case inside out), or leave a message and got a callback the same day every time. We had a fairly lengthy and stressful (for us!) Sale and Purchase, and I couldn't have wished for a better team than Elsa and Kirsty - they are incredibly supportive and patient, and very skilled in property conveyancing (not to mention thorough in their queries raised and advice to me as a purchaser) - thank you for being brilliant and we are so happy in our new family home :)

Having used local firms in the past, it was never straight forward. I came across RMNJ on the latest house purchase, and the experience was superb. Easily contactable by phone and email, regular updates provided, and they have your interests at heart.
I would happily recommend them and if the day comes again when we move, they would be used again.

We have used RMNJ on two occasions now, once as a first time buyer purchase and once to sell that house and buy another. Will & Sandy have been absolutely fantastic through the whole process. They have been on the ball and very reassuring. I couldn't fault them on either occasion and we will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks.
We have had a very positive experience using RMNJ for our conveyancing, and are frankly somewhat surprised by the negative comments by others on here. Our thanks go particularly to Cheryl McCall and Debby McCrudden for always responding to our emails promptly and their attention to details when dealing with the other party's solicitors. Sadly, we had to pull out of our purchase unexpectedly (not RMNJ's fault). All in all, speaking from our experience, we have been very impressed by their level of work and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Do not use. Woefully poor service.do not reply to emails/calls/questions, do not chase your sale. take 5 weeks to get a reply from my purchase which should take days ???
Did not chase my sale/purchasers unless I pushed them...
if you got a reply it was perfunctory .." I have asked" ??
Taken twice as long as needed, Solicitor was on the wrong side of unhelpful.
I had more dialogue with my purchase estate agent who had same problem in getting replies, it was like shouting into an empty cave.!!.
at one point when the estate agent pushed them to push my buyers solicitor they said"your welcome to give it a go" ?
Use a proper local solicitor who you can go into to discuss/ask questions
This company have made us Ill with the worry of losing our purchase..
DONT USE..

We have used them as recently as May this year and for what was the second time, the service leaves an awful lot to be desired and it goes without saying that we will not be using them again. Our transaction was littered with errors and ones that could have incurred cost with no end result. Think twice...

I used RMNJ last year for selling an empty flat in London with no chain. This company are terrible. Very slow, constantly having to chase them & on two occasions paper work that I had sent recorded delivery was lost as they couldn't find where it had been placed. It took months for the property to go through. Would not recommend using them at all. They ended up adding so much stress to something that should have been straight forward.

I've used RMNJ a couple of times and they have been pretty good. You might need to phone a couple of times to ensure things are moving along (hence 4 and not 5 stars) but generally everything went through without delay and for a good price.
Very very very slow remortgage. Cost us lots of money because of unnecessary delays... After 2 months they suddenly said they couldn't complete without home insurance documents... Why didn't they mention this sooner? Many other examples of poor work.
Avoid. Cheap quotes but costs more overall and lots of hidden extra charges (eg wanting passport sent back in recorded mail, eg ID check, eg money transfer fee all of which were essential to the remortgage so should have been included).

I have used RMNJ for two purchases and one sale. They are 'almost good' but not quite there. A lot depends on who you get as you solicitor though most of the work is done by assistants and they too are variable. Some days they are on the ball and some days they aren't. They make howlers though obvious howlers. One that I think was a constructive howler, they charge to pay money to you quickly so I asked for a cheque (free), they sent the cheque to the house I had just sold and moved out of ???. They sent a letter about it, final balance etc, to the house I had yet to buy and move into (I had a 2 month gap between completing on my sale and completing on my purchase). End result they sat on my money for 7 weeks as by the time I got the cheque it was too late to bank. One day the solicitor I had, William Griffiths, had me running round local solicitors trying to get them to witness and sign a First Direct document to say I understood my mortgage commitments. They all refused as they said they couldn't meet the requirements of the document I wanted them to sign. One solicitor rang Griffiths and told him but he wouldn't have it. Finally I spoke direct with First Direct late afternoon and they explained it was my solicitor, William Griffiths that had to sign the document, I got them to call him and tell him, a day wasted and a lot of bewildered solicitors thinking I'm crackers. He signed it in the end without an apology for having me running round. So you can see they are a bit here and there. I'm in the process of selling another property now and have moved on to another fixed price conveyancing agent, they can't be worse than RMNJ.
They have a good set of documents and procedures they are just variable at using them. I score 2 stars as the things they are poor at in my experiences are easy to sort out and so they obviously don't really care. They have you when you instruct them and so you can't really do anything you are at their mercy. Very frustrating experience.
RMNJ is an awful conveyancing solicitor. Very poor communication. I was provided no updates as to where proceedings were up to. They missed emails that I sent them providing information and then re-requested this. They missed every pre-promised milestone on the timeline by either days or weeks. I was in a process in no chain and it took over 3 months to complete. Terrible. Stay away.
I had a strict time line for my buy to let purchase and needed to complete before the 1st of April before George Osborne''s rip off stamp duty changes came into force. William and Hannah did their best in producing this for us. They are snowed under with many files worked in parallel but they didn't compromise on quality and comolested today, justhe about within 8 weeks from the day we instructed RMNJ. I found them to be very easy and personable to talk to as solicitors. This is the 3rd time I have used RMNJ in 2 years and the William / Hannah team is by far the best I have experienced. Thank you and I will be asking for them in my next coneyancing requirements.
I've just exchanged contracts and wanted to share my experience. Cheryl was very helpful and quick to respond, in contrast to the seller's solicitors.
Not the cheapest, but no nasty surprises in the bill and I wouldn't hesitate to use RMNJ again.
