Robbie previous removed our reviews and closed down trust pilot when we told the truth. I’ve just noticed from previous reviews that he’s done the same to other people and it makes me mad that we couldn’t pre warn them. He didn’t show up to our daughter’s party and sent a rambling voice note and video about a blown tyre. We had a full hall of children and parents. Then he said he would be there, then didn’t show. Then he said the sweet cones would be dropped off and they weren’t. He apologised, promised a refund, magic kit, free party and to pay for dominos. None of these happened and I eventually got a refund 3 months later through the bank (after Robbie disputed it).

Posting this again as messing parents around for birthday parties is awful and it makes me feel so sad when I see other parents going through the same stress.

I had the pleasure of booking Robbie Star for ouy Easter Sunday kids entertainment at the John Alker Club in Flixton, and i can honestly say it was nothing short of brilliant!
Robbie's performance was simply amazing. He had the entire room under his “spell” (pardon the pun) from start to finish. His interactive style had both kids and grown-ups alike thoroughly engaged and entertained. Robbie's ability to capture everyone's attention and keep them enthralled was truly impressive.
The kids had an absolute blast, and the feedback from the parents was overwhelmingly positive. Robbie's show was not only fun but also perfectly appropriate for all ages present.very interactive in all the right places and he has got the timing of these parties down to a fine art.
Robbie's magic had such a captivating effect that we've already seen the impact—Robbie has secured at least five bookings from attendees of our event alone, and I have no doubt there will be many more to come.
We are thrilled to have found such a gem in Robbie and can't wait to have him back for future events at the Club. If you're looking for top-notch entertainment that leaves everyone smiling and wanting more, plus a very genuine lovely guy, Robbie is your man!

it's incredibly sad seeing some negative comments because Robbie justified these to me when i asked and i have to say that is absolutely not the guy we experienced. You should book him and find out yourself

Didn't turn up to my sons birthday party, He sent a cryptic video msg bang on 1hr before he was meant to start which didn't even make any sense. Took our money and clearly doesn't care about his customers, biggest con ever. Do not trust this man. Please don't book him

Terrible experience with this entertainer didn’t show up for my children’s birthday and never gave me my money back!! Scam!!!

He is a con man! He absolutely ruined my son’s birthday of 70 guests. Costed me £700 😡 l

Not worth one star. Biggest scam artist going. When ur placing a booking he’s very keen texts back within seconds, infact hounds until he recieved the payment in FULL may I add £220 for a Photo Booth hire. Once he had that payment contact was then sparse only replied as I didn’t give up although when he replied he sends voice notes rambling on that he’s been busy or on stage and will sort when he’s home. Funny how fast he was with the payment.
Never got a confirmation email or invoice. Asked several times never got tho just the rambling voice notes again.
Googled his company it’s coming up as DISSOLVED.

Very good at talking the talking and I fell for it you had no intentions of bringing that booth and you know it. I also want a refund ASAP

Robbie was very professional he took the stress out of what is a busy day for parents. He kept the children captivated for the whole two hours and my daughter had the best birthday. The rabbit at the end was a big hit with the children. There was lots of information provided before the day with prompts of what his schedule was, so we knew exactly when to bring the cake what time the children ate. The party was delayed because of issues at the venue so it took a little longer for us to set up and this was out of our control, however Robbie stayed over his allotted time to make sure the party got the full 2 hours. Thank you

Booking procedure was easy and confirmation received quickly and we were kept upto date with emails and calls nearer to the event. Very approachable and changed content at the event to suit the crowd. Set up was quick (after arriving late due to trouble on the motorway) ..and everyone enjoyed the show and the photo opportunity with the fluffy rabbit. Very accommodating to our event needs in assisting with raffles and announcements throughout the night... Will book again ...

Robbie totally stole the show on Sunday and made the day way more than we ever actually expected.
I have to admit after seeing a bad review on here I was apprehensive, but didn’t say anything. I truly had nothing to be worried about. Not only was Robbie’s show the quality of something you would find on a top end cruise ship, but the professionalism of the guy is totally visible in bundles. Plus, his ability to switch between “kids entertainer” around the kids and then have a very nice and meaningful conversation with adults again shows his dedication. Alfie has stated that he not “only” wants to be a magician when he grows up,he wants to be Robbie.

We’ve had amazing feedback and would book again in a heartbeat!

We used Robbie this weekend for my daughters first birthday party. After taking my time and looking for entertainment for the party I luckily came across Robbie. We had lots of different age children at the party so I was wanting everyone to be entertained and that’s exactly what he did even the adults enjoyed it and my 1 year old daughter was mesmerised. I cannot recommend him enough from first contacting and booking in to the day of the party he kept in contact throughout and made it all so easy for me. We will definitely be using Robbie again. Thank you so much. 😊

He is a BIG scam, he sells a great package to you on the phone and takes yours deposit and you don't hear back. We paid £50 and he didn't come or get in touch. He kept texting for the deposit but once received he started to blank my messages. I've taken this further, happy to provide anyone with screen shots. Please don't get ripped off like I did.

Robbie has been amazing helping me with organising the party going above and beyond with designing personalised invitations and party agenda to match our spooky theme. We can't wait for the actual party and know that Robbie takes great pride in what he does and we can't wait for the party day.

I booked Robbie for my sons 4th birthday, after booking him I was unsure if my son actually knew what a magician was, would he sit still, would his friends enjoy it. Robbie was fantastic and reassuring, answering all of my queries quickly and with enthusiasm. Approaching the date I had a wobble and read some pretty horrific reviews, I then became skeptical and worried. However he was booked and within 48hrs he was due to turn up, I had no option but to hope for the best. He did not disappoint! My son smiled and laughed throughout, he got the parents involved (some who will probably never talk to me again..... joke) but was overall a great show for all ages. If in doubt drop him a message I'm sure just after talking to him you will be sold. I never read reviews becuase if I did, I would never do anything ever again and I certainly never leave them. However, after reading the reviews I questioned Robbie and he openly and honestly told me his side, held his hands up to some truth but nothing in comparison to what I read. So please don't let the negative reviews put you off. Great guy, great show highly reccomend

I’ve used Robbie twice myself for my boys parties and this time I attended as a guest at my friends sons. He never fails to impress me or make me laugh my boys were so excited to see him when he came and we all had an amazing time. We even had a cheeky drink later on which was also hilarious I would not use another entertainer since meeting rob he can adapt to any age range and also has the adults entertained five stars for me 🥳

I couldn't recommend robbie enough he is amazing, he was loved by all the kids and adults to ,3rd time we have seen him and he entertain us all ,will defo be booking robbie star 🌟 again

Worst experience I have ever had planning a party. Robbie was meant to be at the venue at 4pm to set up ready to start at 4:30 when my daughters party was due to start. However he didn’t turn up until 5:15 and started at 5:45. This make me extremely stressed and anxious for the entirety of my daughters party. I was so upset by the time he arrived I left my daughters party to have a breather to make sure I didn’t create a scene. I paid £179 for half of what I was meant to receive. After Robbie was done he offered a paid refund which I was obviously due although it was only £50 and not half which I was clearly within my rights to request I accepted the £50 and he said he would send it the next day. Two weeks after the event I still haven’t received a penny although I sent my bank details the same day for him to be able to do the transaction. I have had countless excuses even using his childhood been in pubs as reasons to why I haven’t yet received my money. I messaged Robbie back a lot of times and was replied to telling me he didn’t have time to read my messages and he would send me proof he had requested a part refund which he never did. He told me it would take 28 days to refund even though he said before leaving the party he would do it the next day. Robbie ruined my 6 year old daughters party and I do not recommend him to any one

Unresponsive to emails, texts and calls! He received the deposit and couldn’t care more (non-refundable you see!). Awful experience, tried to organise my son’s birthday party, glad I didn’t send the invites out I am sure he wouldn’t even turn up (and I saw that happened to someone already who left a review, I wish I had read that earlier). Total fraud, advertising things included in the packages you pay for and when you ask how to get them no response.. a massive NO

Hired Robbie for our daughter's 4th birthday and he did not disappoint.
Robbie created a fun and energetic atmosphere with some great party games and dances, along with magic tricks that had the children (and adults) fooled!
He managed to adapt his show perfectly for the young age group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed! The addition of his magical bunny sidekick at the end topped it off and the children loved having a stroke and cuddle with the bunny!
I highly recommend Robbie; a great entertainer and really nice guy.

We booked Robbie for our little boys 5th birthday party at our home.
He was a great hit with all the children especially considering he had to perform in our tiny kitchen dinner.
He was very funny and professional and kept the kids and adults entertained for the whole two hours.
The kids said it was the best party they had been too!
I would highly recommend him.
