One star because I had no other option

One star because I had no other option. Absolutely joke of a company. Have put incorrect information on my credit file and reporting that this down to my debt management company not sending the payments in time when in actual fact they are receiving it in time, they don’t cash it in on time or they ‘lose’ the payment.

If the 7 missed payment markers are not removed of my file I will be taking the matter to the financial ombudsman.

I made a complaint was told I would have some communication within 3 days, haven’t heard anything. I am having to chase them to speak with rude customer service advisers who continue to repeat the same thing and pin the blame on anyone but themselves.

We were in the process of buying a house which has now fallen through because they have put 7 missed payment markers on my credit file in ERROR and we have lost out on thousands of pounds due to a mistake THEY HAVE MADE.

I am absolutely furious that this is allowed to happen and they are taking no responsibility despite being able to provide bank statement and payment transactions.

Crooks everyone of them and during time…

Crooks everyone of them and during time of pandemic have got the nerve to carry on chasing for money I do not owe. They say they will provide evidence that a debt is mine. Leave off writing for a while then start again. I don't know how many times I have to tell them the debt is not mine. They do not provide the proof. Mind you this would be hard because the debt is not mine. I refuse to speak to them on the phone, my blood pressure is high enough. I continue to write and explain the facts but they just ignore my comments and carry on with the form letters and threats.

Robinson Way is to try and Defraud money by whatever means available to them

Hoist Finance/ Robinson Way expect you to pay debt to them from Mis Sold Credit Card called Barclays Platinum Card which they first issued me in 1999 then they claim the sent me a renewal card in 2003 Never received this card and never used it this has been explain to the bank and Moorcroft debt collections and Moorcroft though it out has mis sold now they are contact me though a debt company called Robinson Way who I understand are part of Hoist Finance. I have not heard anything from them for over a year until now. If Moorcroft chucked it out that means that they are not entitled to it in the first place. Yet someone that doesn't understand the word miss sold thinks other wise due to there lack of Intelligence. If you want your money so much go and claim back of Barclays because you ain't getting it from me as Barclays mis sold the policy not me. The Green reviews I fear are Fake reviews done by there Employees

If I could give them minus stars I would

I received a letter from these jokers saying they would consider a lower amount to clear one of my 2 accounts.

So I typed in a fair amount and it comes back saying no we will accept this higher amount which turns out to be only a saving of 3 months. I admit I had a good month and thought I could maybe get rid of both debts in one swoop.

So I complained that this system offers false hope and isnt a good way to do business and low and behold today I get the joke of an email from the complains department.

So my accounts have gone down to £1 per month payments until they try to help me

I have had 4 debts with 4 different companies this year due to personal circumstance. This company is exceptional at helping you cope with regular payments and are always friendly and easy to get hold of. I would transfer my other debt to this company if I could. For the work they do, never had a better service and clearly well trained staff.

Reprehensible Heartless Arrogant Scumbags

These people are the lowest of the low on earth. They contact me every month without fail to persue a payment that they have already been paid on the arrangement. They say that they have contacted me and that I have NOT responded, except their computers have sent me a "read it" receipt. I contacted the CEO directly who clearly gave it to a minion to answer who says the company cannot find me on their system!! If they cannot find me on their system, into whose pocket is my payment going into each month? They are a bunch of sharks, useless to the degree level and break all the guidance rules laid down by the FCA. They also seem unaware of the covid-19 issue at present, there are NO payment holidays or reviews, YOU WILL PAY regardless of your personal circumstances. They have NOT heard of the Covid-19 pandemic, it's just a fairy story going about!! You will send me the shirt off your back, you will send me a pound of your flesh every day. I have reported them to the FCA as they do not follow the guidelines, they DO harass me even though they are NOT allowed to! they are reprehensible in every way.

Dirty job but someone has to do it. Bad at it all the same.

Dirty job but someone has to do it.

Robo Way are nonetheless a poor example of a debt collection agency.

It has came to light that my father who shares my name was duped into setting up a direct debit to clear a fictional debt of mine with Halifax. It was only when visiting my parents I happened upon a letter that detailed the payments made that I was aware.

I had joined Halifax at around 17 for £50.00 and a £3000.00 overdraft. It was only after 3no months that I was contacted by Halifax and informed the overdraft was removed after 1no month and that every transaction after that was charged at £35.00 plus what I had spent. They attempted to keep the account open with interest and charged £14.50 a month for the account itself. After gaining help from Citizens Advice I was able to close the account and make the debt inadmissible due to changes in law and charging of fees.

I have made Robo Way aware of this since September last year and I keep getting promised call backs but they never materialise. My Father has paid £5.00 per month towards the debt for the last ten years.

It’s clear this business do not do any research before purchasing and trying to collect any given debt. It is worrying when considering how vulnerable persons who require reasonable adjustments are been dealt with and the overriding fact is any of us can have a change in circumstances tomorrow and it doesn’t appear Robo Way have any regard for disabilities.

I will contact the business tomorrow to discuss and hopefully come to a resolution.

Criminals at there best

These are the biggest fraudsters on this earth they sent me yet another letter not addressed at right address saying that I owe them £2878 for a debt dating back to 2013 it was for a car that was repossessed and the sale of car had payed for what was owed, it is classed as statues barred if I did owe this money then why did the loan company not get in touch, this firm just makes up debt to scare people and if it continues then they will find themselves in court for harassment and trying to receive money by deception, they don’t seem to understand what part of I Do NOT OWE THIS MONEY

Just spoke to Sam about clearing my debt. lovely man and was really personable. Helped me make a plan that worked.

Honestly, I got myself in financial trouble and Robinson Way have always been great with me but I know that may not be for everyone.

It's a tough time financially for a lot of people and they handled it great!

Positive experience

I've had a debt management plan with several creditors for 10 years, the interest is frozen and I've always paid a small but regular amount to them on time. Recently my finances took a horrible turn for the worse and I had to find a permanent solution. I spoke to a couple of debt charities first for advice and sent a letter in to Robinson Way laying out my income and essential monthly expences. Of all my creditors they were by far the most helpful, polite, sympathetic and willing to work with me. Honestly if you're having problems financially it's worth speaking to them with an open mind because they have been great.
