You would think after 13 years and…

You would think after 13 years and countless updates as well as canceling updates for other games (rdr2) in order to make more GTA V content that the game would play some what smooth but it plays like I’m being dragged over a coral reef by a speed boat. I just switched from xbox one to X/S and have had more issues with this game than any game over ever played from being spotted when nothing was there to spot to having over 30 enemies spawn inside structures and just shoot me from impossible angles. I am truly dreading GTA VI because if this is what they can accomplish after 13 years then I can’t fathom the trash they are going to throw together for the next game and how buggy and unplayable it will come out like.

Based on our conversation today, here is a summary of how Rockstar Games has treated you, written in English:
Systemic Negligence: Despite your persistence, Rockstar Games has completely failed to provide any professional assistance, hiding behind an automated "bot-wall."
Total Disregard: You have sent over 20 emails and submitted more than 50 support tickets, yet you have not received a single genuine human response.
Customer Devaluation: By repeatedly sending the same canned, automated templates, the company has treated you as a number rather than a customer, leading to a completely "disgusting" and frustrating experience.
Failure of Official Channels: Their primary support infrastructure has proven to be useless in your case, forcing you to escalate the matter to their parent company (Take-Two Interactive) and external consumer protection platforms just to be heard.
In short: Rockstar Games has completely ignored your rights as a consumer, providing a zero-human-contact experience that left you ignored and disrespected after dozens of attempts to reach them.

Struggle your butt off the sign in and…

Struggle your butt off the sign in and sign up keep giving errors waiting a whole day and still getting same error too many requests in a short time doing everything from changing VPN settings and language and time sync even changing WiFi still nothing can't even play the game I bought so rockstar can keep their game I will refund and won't play it again

well after alot of back and forward…

well after alot of back and forward then rockstar deciding to block me from making another support ticket here we are. i have lost access to a email address i used for 2fa and my microsoft 2fa app did not have cloud backups enabled by default. i have lost a account i have had since 2014 because there support is completely unhelpful with automated responses and lack of understanding the issue. microsoft cannot recover the secret key for the account so now i have lost everything on that account.

Customer support worse than development

I lost my gmail and submitted several tickets to Rockstar to recover the rockstar account so I could play. Their employees mark every ticket as 'solved' after each time they reply to you.
I asked to atleast unlink it from my steam account as I couldn't , having no access to my old email/rockstar account and told me to go to google support as if I hadn't already.

They are not interested in fixing BUGS or helping the players

They are not interested in fixing BUGS and certainly they are not interested in having a proper Customer Support Service.
My gmail account was compromised, resolved and un-linked my account with the EA Support in 35 minutes, Rockstar can't do anything because, we do not know how to un-link an account, keep our Development Team or fix any bugs.

Another disappointment with Rockstar, apart from us falling through the game map in RDR2 and GTA V so many years after release.

Bonus points, the GTA V Diamond Casino heist still has its release date bugs and we are all going to d. from old age until GTA VI will be released.

Games and the company themselves

As a console player myself, people having problems on this company, i really barely had problems with, as the PC players experience.. What ever tf ive been seeing from my friends, flying tanks or whatever clips they have been sending me from hackers. On top of that, on console servers, I once installed the PS5 version of the game, but the one dumb thing that ive had is was that my friend could only have the PS4 version, and when i thought it would be normal, it wouldnt allow my dumbass to join them because of the PS4 version hes on, but since we are BOTH ON PLAYSTATION 5s, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NORMAL TO JOIN HIS SERVER TILL I REALIZED I HAD TO BUY THE PS4 VERSION I NEVER HAD. So i paid for it, and we both got in the serve- OH WAIT ALL MY PROGRESS IS RESETTED? SO I GOTTA MAKE A NEW CHARACTER AND SO IS MY RANK? I LOVE HOW THIS DAMN SYSTEM WORKS! THE ONE THING IS THAT RAINBOW SIX SIEGE X SOLVED THIS TYPE OF ISSUE WHEREAS IF YOU HAVE A PS4 BUT YOUR FRIEND HAS THE PS5 VERSION YOU CAN BOTH STILL JOIN EACHOTHER. But in general, the games fine, the other problem i have, RDR1 Online exclusive to older consoles, now, not only this is kinda dumb, BUT EVER SINCE THEY PUT RDR1 ON THE PS PLUS CATALOUGE THEY NEVER BROUGHT ONLINE INTO NEW-GEN CONSOLES LIKE THE PS4 (which is technically not new-gen, id say in the middle) AND PS5. And RDR2 Online, they kind of stopped updates now, only just major ones, they barely even update the game and only have their money on GTA Online, but since most players are playing RDR2 and Online, they still have barely updated the game. The company is slightly bad, the games are amazing, and the service? Its not good, but isnt completely bad.

I was locked out of my account because…

I was locked out of my account because 2FA was set up on a Chrome extension. Rockstar’s “forgot my 2FA” option is useless, support refuses to verify my account even though I have full proof of ownership via Steam (reciepts, etc), and their system blocked me from submitting tickets and auto resolve after a bot answer. Absolutely terrible customer support completely frustrating and broken. Even Xbox/Microsoft has better support than this, and that’s saying something

Worst Support EVER!

I have been playing their games sins 2013, some litle idiot, hacked the account and changed the details, but couldnt get into my PSN account, The support website, email and phone numbers are useless and I am unable to access my acount.

incompetent money-grabbers

creates great games and proceeds to lock them behind a launcher that won't even allow them to run. i have never had, or known anyone else have, a positive experience with opening games using rockstar games launcher. i wish terrible pain upon the people of this company

Rockstar games is the worst video game company around. They don't fix gaming issues in a timely manner. When you report greifers it appears they do nothing about it. They've also closed down tickets while still in the seven day window.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They have made me troubleshoot my system a dozen times when the problem lies in their servers. They beat around the bush as much as they can with pre-filled quotes and “troubleshooting” when it has nothing to do with your problem

Been playing this game since the…

Been playing this game since the release. Had a clean player record every single day since. Never once modded, cheated or griefed not one day since I had the game. I literally just try to finish everything on the game and own everything. Haven't played since like 2022. Finally got back on the game to buy all the new stuff and complete that too. These DHs throws me in modded lobby after modded lobby. Then after a week of minding my business and grinding up millions through my agency and night club to buy a mansion and all of the new businesses. They zap my entire account to zero and claim the dont know what happened. This is what you get from rockstar for being a clean player. Now I see why so many people just say fk you and cheat and ruin the game. Rockstar will eventually ruin it for you if bad players dont.

My account is recorded, documented and dated. So not if but when you do retaliate. I will sue for that too. Cause im definitely contacting the CFPB and BBB about the data breach that caused this. And im most definitely taking legal action. As a paying customer and consumer. 👍🏾

I am giving this one star review because I just bought GTA online thinking it will be very fun. I waited four hours for it to download and then it says I need to buy it. I already spent $17 on the game and it wants me to spend another $17 to get the game. I want my money back rockstar. I can’t even play the game. This sucks.

customer dis service

I purchased a megalodon card. It never showed up in my account. I tried to log in to submit a ticket. I cannot access my account. I keep submitting account recovery requests I keep getting automated responses. My requests are denied. i keep trying to escalate this. I have 90 dollars just floating out there and they keep resolving the ticket on their side. That is straight up theft. Worst customer service ever.

Horrendous Support

Their support system is truly one of the worst out there. They only will send you automated bot responses or even just flat out ignore you if what you need can't be solved by a kindergartener.

My son online after he punishment which…

My son online after he punishment which was for 10 days became 14 for something he didn't do. 30 minutes into games new profile. He was being STALKED by liars and cheating people. Enough they are ruining the game. Man up Rock Star and get the cheating stopped
