They've activated a 2FA on my account that I never put in place, and now I'm locked out as many other users. Can't get them to remove it because the automated replies just loop you straight back to the support page, and even then you can't submit another ticket without switching to a different device or browser as it throws up an error.

Rockstar Support ignores legal proof. Steam verified my hack, but Rockstar bots won't help.
I am a 53-year-old player and I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but Rockstar Support is currently a nightmare. My Gmail was hacked last Saturday. Steam Support was amazing—they verified the unauthorized access and restored my account in record time.
However, Rockstar is a brick wall. I have provided irrefutable proof: official Steam invoices, PayPal transaction IDs, and my verified Steam ID. Even though Steam has already validated my ownership, Rockstar's automated bots (like Alex M. or Tracy D.) keep closing my tickets because I can't remember the exact day I enabled 2-step verification years ago.
It is unacceptable that a paying customer with full legal documentation is being ignored by AI bots while Steam has already solved the same issue. I just want a HUMAN AGENT to look at my PNG invoices and sync with Steam's resolution. My Rockstar ID is ApatxeGaua. Stop the automated loops and help your customers!

Horrible support experience. Wont be able to play definitive trilogy i bought. Just because of their impotence.
IP-banned by rockstar for trying to get help recover an account
Had my 2fa authenticator on an old job phone i turned in 4 years ago. Tried to get my account back. Got continously directed in loops with bots and automated answers, never getting any help from actual people. After trying different wording in my tickets and email, they IP-banned me. Ive never experienced this kind of blatant customer-hostile behaviour. Im never going to buy anything from this company again.
My Rockstar account was stolen and the support team is not helping me recover my account.
I did not log in to my account for a while due to my exams. During that time, without any notification or confirmation sent to my email, my own email address (cesraland@gmail.....com) was changed to an email address I do not recognize (gpztxv7788@...outlook.com). I purchased the game through my own Steam account, I have the receipt, and during the period I played, I was using my Rockstar account linked to the cesraland@...gmail...com address.
I do not want a cheater to unfairly play a game that I purchased. Please help me recover my account.
Rockstar took my money and left me with a game I cannot play
I’ve been a loyal Rockstar Games fan for years, which makes this experience even more infuriating.
I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 through Steam, excited to finally play it. When I tried to launch the game, I was hit with an error saying my Rockstar account is linked to a different Steam account. I had absolutely no idea this was even possible and had never seen this issue before.
So I did what any customer would do — I contacted Rockstar Support.
I opened three separate support tickets and waited over 7 days for a response. After all that waiting, the only reply I received was that my Rockstar account is either suspended or banned, and because of that, they cannot assist me.
No explanation. No investigation. No effort to fix the problem. Just a dead end.
Because they took so long to respond, I am now outside Steam’s refund window. That means I paid full price for a game that I literally cannot access or play, and Rockstar’s support team’s answer is basically “not our problem.”
This is beyond frustrating — it feels like being scammed by a company I used to respect. For a company as big as Rockstar, this level of customer support is unacceptable and frankly embarrassing.
I never expected to be in a situation where I pay for a Rockstar game and get locked out of it with no help, no solution, and no accountability.
If this is how Rockstar treats paying customers, people should think twice before buying their games.
Blatant Disregard for PC Players and Anti-Consumer Platform Favoritism
Rockstar Games continues to demonstrate a negligent and exploitative attitude toward the PC community. The decision to delay GTA 6 and then further postpone the PC version indefinitely is a transparent tactic to force sales on inferior console hardware.
Their history of collusion with Sony (PlayStation) is well-documented and deeply problematic. From the premature termination of GTA Online services on older generations like the PS3 to the current gatekeeping of the "Enhanced" features, it is clear they prioritize opaque corporate deals over their actual player base.
Forcing players who already own high-end PCs to purchase a PS5 just to play their latest title is an insult to the community's intelligence. Given their track record, it is highly likely they will abandon current services again as soon as the PS6 arrives, just as they did with the PS3. Rockstar is no longer a developer that values its fans; they are a company that hides behind hardware exclusivity to maximize profit at the expense of consumer choice.

Absolutely horrible. I purchased a Rockstar Games game via Steam and apparently my Steam account is linked with a Rockstar account that I can't remember. Any attempt with more that 6 agents from Rockstar Games failed because they belief that I am not the owner. What proof other than my purchase that I can proof and my Steam account detail do they need??? They are absolute crooks. Their responses are generic, no willingness to really solve the problem. Now I have an account that I can't access. At least I was able to get a refund from Steam. I am avoiding this company at all cost. Never again.

Terrible. Can't change my email, Cant create a new account. You buy the game once and end up having to buy it again. They make you install more crap just to play their games, then they slap you in the face by not even allowing you to play them. This is one of the main reasons why I start playing the game and uninstall it after the 30 minute boring introduction of gtav, Or spending an hour riding around on a horse in red dead tapping A ALL DAY. Non existent support. If you need to talk to an actual person that is not possible.. I have made 4 tickets about 2-factor authentiation. Detailing the issue but every time i get an auto reply from an AI with some useless links...

Purchased gta5, the launcher wants me to log into old email address I had years ago that I have no access to. Even tho I purchased it with a different email address. Go to support, get nowhere, 7 attempts try to explain no use just a resolved from them with no resolution. So I requested a refund and got it now they will no longer get my business but by the reviews here looks like they don't give a s$#+ or maybe have a non automated support system and actually take care of paying customers.

The sad story is that they did make some of the most wonderful games ever. But their problem solving leg is non existing, horrible and the worst ever. No matter what your problem is, their suggestion basically is to address everyone else's problems (network, wifi, computer hartdware, software, security etc) causing this problem and if that did not solve the problem (of course not bacuse everything else is running fine!!!) they suggest to switch off an on. Contect with solution department is impossible unless youre looking for bogus answers.

Title: 13.5 Hours of Support Hell: 6 "Tier 2" Agents, Zero Solutions.
Review: Do not waste your money on Rockstar Games products. I spent 13.5 hours trying to fix a memory access error (0xc0000005) in their broken Launcher. I provided absolute proof that my PC is in perfect condition:
GTA V runs flawlessly on this same machine, proving my hardware is fine.
DISM and SFC scans are 100% clean, proving my Windows OS is healthy.
NVIDIA drivers are updated to the latest version (591.86).
Despite these facts, I was passed around between SIX different "Tier 2" agents: Brook P., Milo S., Russell V., Yong H., Jose R., and Hannah J..
These employees are utterly incompetent. Instead of addressing the actual software bug, they wasted my time for days with scripted, nonsense advice like:
"Try a different Wi-Fi" for a memory crash.
"Scan for viruses".
"Buy or find another PC to test the game on".
This is the worst customer service experience of my life. These agents get paid to copy-paste scripts and ignore customer logs. Avoid this company at all costs. I am getting a refund and switching to cracked versions because Rockstar's official software is garbage.

This company is a joke. Their support team doesn’t even bother reading your tickets before marking them as 'Resolved.' I am stuck in a loop because my account is on 'Pending Deletion,' which means I physically CANNOT log in. Yet, these idiots keep telling me to log in to submit a request.
How can I log in to an account that is locked for deletion? Use your goddamn brains! They ignore the facts, ignore the screenshots, and give you canned robotic responses. It is the most pathetic excuse for 'customer service' I have ever encountered. Fix your broken system and hire people who actually know how to read.
Rockstar Games is no longer the same
It's unbelievable to me how such a legendary company can't maintain order. They start creating new things, they haven't been able to fix games that have been around for a long time, and they just leave everything like that, so the next projects they are developing will work half-heartedly? And there will be many inconsistencies like now? How can you want to play a game that doesn't work half-heartedly, and they'll even officially announce it and leave it. Because of things like this, I generally want to cut off any related connections with Rockstar Games.. fix what's there first, before starting new projects.. Only children do this, and even those same children wouldn't leave it like that. You manage such sums. Are these the jobs of adults? I can't believe how so many things can not work.. not to mention games like GTA5, it's even impossible to log into your account right now. I don't think I'd spend more than one euro on half-working games.
