Rockstar is bad I purchased gta5 on steam ages ago lost my rockstar account login so put a ticket in for help asked them to remove the linked account on the game and they won’t do it I understand I can’t get in to old account and email but I ent asking them to get me back in to old account I’m only asking for them remove the linked account and delete it as I’ll make a fresh account and link a new account to my game but they can’t even do that without security stuff simple task off remove the account not get me back in it just remove the account they no way they need confirmation from my old account for them to remove it so game useless to me can’t play without account can’t even open the game requested my money back and the emails go quiet feel robbed tbh don’t deal with rockstar they won’t help in any way and will only cause you problems

Unable to unlink my Epic Games account from a Rockstar Games account that isn’t min

I am the legitimate owner of an Epic Games account where I own a copy of Grand Theft Auto V. However, my Epic Games account was linked years ago to a Rockstar Games account that is NOT mine. I no longer have access to that Rockstar account or its email.

I have contacted Rockstar Support multiple times and provided proof that I own the Epic Games account, but they keep asking for verification from an email that isn’t mine. I have explained this clearly, but they have not resolved or escalated my case.

I simply want Rockstar to manually unlink my Epic Games account from that wrong Rockstar account so I can use my game normally.

Please help me fix this — it’s been weeks of frustration.

I lost acces to an old email that was deleted years ago but it seems that this was the email linked to my rockstar account after sending 25 emails to support they never helped me out, i send them pictures of my id card , made a video of starting up the game and joining send them even pictures from the paskey i have on my macbook and even more like a purchase of a shark card i specialy made to proof it was mine

But quess what no help at all they always answer the same answer that they where not able to help or verify my request

Well i played for years red dead redemption and gta 5 online and made a lot of purchases and spend a lot of time on there

The service i got is terrible, a company like this with such a terrible service well i was hyped for the new gta 6 but guess what i dont need it anymore spending so much money and time on this acount to what to lose it al??

U canot even proof it anymore with ure own id? Only by that specific email?

Come on guys in what year do u guys live?

Worst support i have ever heard of, i have been working support for years but i never ever seen anything like this in my life.

Scammers

Yep... as others have said below. Trash AI company with no real human support anymore. I have been locked out of my account and unable to get back in and I too just get AI responses and the tickets just get resolved. Thanks for wasting my money.

I'm writing you a review I couldn't ignore. I met a staff member in the chat and thought he'd help me with my problem. I messaged him to ask him to call another staff member, but he kept denying it. Then I decided to write, "Are you a bot?" He replied again that he doesn't discuss such things in the chat. I messaged him again, "Are you a bot?" The response was the same, only slightly different. I messaged him again, but he'd already replied, "It was nice to help you," and closed the ticket. And I realized it was a bot. The platform seems to be getting rid of the normal support it used to have and is creating bots that pretend to help or just pretend support exists. This bot exists in English-language support. What can I say about Russian-language support? I met someone normally the first time, like "Ruslan H." Although he couldn't help me because of Rockstar's policy and my poor memory, he communicated well with me in the chat. I felt like we were communicating as one person to another.

incredible games but omg the office is…

incredible games but omg the office is terrible. No customer service at all. just standard letters sent and no interest in resolving the problem at all. You would have thought games like this would have a dynamic back bone but sadly its a very shallow company.

You dont interest in me rockstar games I'm not interested. I'm interested in different games thank you very much. You interest me rockstar Games you keep focusing with gta 5 online im not interested in. You don't interest me. I prefer different company better. I'm not interested in you rockstar games until gta 6 comes out.

I am extremely disappointed with Rockstar Support.

I contacted them multiple times to unlink my Epic Games account from my Rockstar account. From the start, I provided all the information they asked for: account nicknames, screenshots of my Epic account with my Epic ID, and confirmation of my current email. I even explained that the original email (a Google account) had been deleted years ago when I changed the address linked to my Epic Games account.

Instead of helping, they kept asking for the same things over and over again. Despite giving them detailed evidence, they eventually closed my ticket without a solution. To make matters worse, they blocked me from contacting their support again.

This is unacceptable. As a paying player, I expected at least a serious investigation and proper assistance. Instead, I was left without access to my account and without any way to resolve the situation.

Rockstar Support is unhelpful, unprofessional, and completely unreliable.

I am writing to report terrible customer service from Rockstar Support. For weeks, a known bug has blocked access to Telegram Missions in Red Dead Online, causing my 26-day daily streak to reset.
I demand fair compensation:

· 50 Gold Bars
· $10,000 RDO$
· 5 Treasure Maps
· Wilderness Camp Coupon

I contacted support multiple times (Tickets #33818445, #33679136,#33805905). Instead of helping, they closed my tickets without resolution, especially after I mentioned reporting to BBB. They ignored evidence and refused fair compensation.

Avoid Rockstar if you expect decent support. They disrespect loyal players.

Account Access after email change

For the past 2 days I have been going back and forth with the support team trying to get access to my account. I changed emails a few years back and when I try to prove that I own the account they just tell me they cannot verify that I own the account.

I have asked them numerous times what they need from me and they abruptly end the support ticket each time without ever giving me the opportunity to prove that I own the account. I did provide screen shots of my Rockstar account, Steam account purchase, the game running in the background (I can start RDR2 but before it completes loading it asks me to verify my account with the old email address) and a screen shot of the 7 achievements I did have to date when I stopped playing in 2022.

At one point I did have one support person state that they were thrilled that they could verify that it was my account and then a couple hours later I get another response from someone else saying they could not verify it and then closed the support ticket before I could respond. Then I get another email indicating that I need to open a support ticket??? I was polite throughout all the emails, not demanding and thankful for their assistance.

All I wanted was access to the game I bought.

SCAM

SCAM - This company is just a scam.

Less than 1 star. This is genuinely the worst support I've ever had, They've taken my money for games and locked me out of my account and I have no way of using what I've paid for.

Raising a support ticket, they will just mark it as resolved with no response and zero effort to resolve (I've now raised 8 support requests in total to try and resolve).

They are now not even letting me raise another support ticket.

This is not a genuine company.

Steam Deck Users Avoid

I've got a Steam Deck and purchased Red Dead Redemption 2. The only way to play this is via the Rockstar app which I set up and all was good. Suddenly I can't log in. I've tried everything, resetting my password, changing the time setting on my Steam Deck (apparently that's a thing?) but nothing works. For months I've been going back and fourth and Rockstar have provided no support other than, we're looking into it. I can see from forums this is something that's been an issue for ages however it appears Rockstar knows this but don't give a damn. My advice, if you own a Steam Deck and intend to play Rockstar games on it save your money, you'll have a limited time to play things before they shut you out and ignore you. Also if you buy a Rockstar game through any channel (Steam store, CDkeys, Shopto etc) they ALL can only be accessed via that bloody app. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
