I had a terrible experience dealing with the lettings team in Romans – Bracknell. They treated my requests and queries with apathy and never gave me any type of full answer to very basic questions and avoided some queries I raised. I had to work extremely hard to get answers and had to eventually go through their complaints process and even that took two attempts for me to get a full and comprehensive reply. I asked the lettings team to forward a letter to the landlord, they didn’t do it and I got no apology, just uncaring and unbothered short replies. Even when I raised queries up to senior management, they could not grasp what I was asking and again gave me glib and blunt replies and sometimes did not reply at all.
The Credit Control team never got the direct debit to work on TDS payments, despite confirming all clerical errors were corrected but had no problem chasing me on the phone when a payment was missed due to their inability to monitor the direct debit. When I asked for an explanation, I got very little back that addressed my concerns relating to their processes.
It is not in my nature to complain unless I must and I had been helpful with and accepting of some of the issues that Romans – Bracknell caused but when these things continued and took up a lot of my time, it was only right I questioned things. Only one person was helpful and apologetic when tradesman did not turn up or the TDS payment had errored, and that was Jacqueline Miles‑Miller but I can see that she was not based at the Romans – Bracknell branch.
If Romans do reply to this, it will be to protect their reputation. A good reputation is not given, it is earned and maintained. The lettings team in Romans – Bracknell are worthy of a bad reputation and should be ashamed of the poor customer service and terrible support they offer tenants. I am also a landlord and if I thought that the letting agents I use were treating my tenant like that I would end the agreement immediately. Very, very poor and tenants should avoid the lettings team in Romans Bracknell, at all costs. It is not acceptable to treat tenants like that and Romans – Bracknell should be more professional, caring, responsive and considerate.

Bracknell branch is terrible. I’m a tenant and every time we have a problem Romans is completely ignoring us, not answering the emails, not returning the calls. Sometimes takes months to resolve the problem but they are first to take the money. Not recommended.

Lisa has managed to resolve some difficult issues for us when others were unable to, and her communication skills are second to none. Always a pleasure to deal with and all round, a quality service which is hard to find these days.

Exceptional help from Paul and the team at Romans I had quite a difficult and tricky situation with the landlord of the property when my mum passed away but it was handled superbly by Romans and I am very happy with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Absolute joke of a company!
Viewed a property had a call from them asking if I was interested told them I was waiting for an email back about form my mortgage advisor but was very interested I heard back so called them back and they then told me they had sold it this morning without even letting me know! Great estate agents they are!!

I want to compliment Lisa Fazal, senior property manager in Bracknell. Since my move to a rented flat in Bracknell, she has facilitated a number of key improvements to the property:- managing the complete updating of the electrical heating system and hot water controls; liaising with the block management company over their duty to provide a working sewer, and also to clear a legacy of fly-tipping and inadequate rubbish disposal from the community areas outside the property.
She has kept me informed at all times about progress with these projects, communicating in a friendly manner!

I have found your company very professional. In particular I've been dealing with Reece. He has been so helpful and very knowledgeable about each property. Reece has promised to find the right property for me and I believe him. Very honest and good with dealing with people. In an age when customer service isn't always everyone's priority I found it refreshing to have been on the receiving end of true professionalism.

I signed up with this agent today to see a property for sale. It’s been a nightmare thus far. I’ve had my details shared to agents in my area ( despite being listed and contracted already for the sale of my home), which I did not give permission for. I’ve had spam emails addresses to Mr, despite being the MRS with the details logged with Romans (insulting and sexist much?). I’ve had the booking cancelled because the vendor won’t do viewings on weekends (they clearly don’t want to sell, so why is it listed on Rightmove?
This whole thing has been a debacle and all because I shared my email ( which I had to spell out 6 times on 2 phone calls because they got it wrong) and phone number to be listed and vetted for the viewing.
These agents are muppets and so incredibly unprofessional.. don’t bother! Go elsewhere they will mess you around and breech privacy laws to boot!!!
