AVOID AVOID SCAMMERS, DONT CARE FOR YOUR HEALTH

Absolutely avoid this place, after renting with them for nine months and having a huge issue with black mould and broken windows damp and leaking, they refused to fix this and came up with all sorts of excuses, the property manager would lie and do stuff without our consent, we pushed and pushed to get this sorted after finally getting them to admit mould was a building issue they said we could leave early due to it not going to be sorted in time of our tenancy this was agreed by the landlord. and now we have since then finally found a place they went back on what they said and we lost that flat not to mention without our consent they ended our tenancy early and past the date we would have needed to move into the new place.
ROMANS IS A SCAM. the property managers take little interest in peoples health and do not look after tenants. We now have been put in a difficult position where we don't have a home because of them. it is disgusting. the company should be shut down.

Successful House Sale

We started the sale of our house with another agent which wasn’t going well and so we invited Roman’s to make a difference. The manager - Matt White had kept in close contact with us and made some suggestions about the new marketing plan. Within a few days his team had arranged three viewings, on the same day and we received two offers a few days later! After accepting an offer, the sales process was managed by their Move Manager who has been in regular contact and facilitated all parties, to ensure a smooth contract exchange. We are extremely pleased with all the support we have received from the Fleet Team and look forward to concluding the sale next month. Thank you.

Romans continue to Impress:

I have had the pleasure of renting out properties with Romans for many years, and recently in buying a property with them. During this time I’ve always been thoroughly impressed by their staff and their level of customer service and support. I would recommend Romans to anyone wishing to rent out or sell their property.

I’ve been particularly impressed by Debra Barman, Senior Property Manager who continues to deliver. She has great attention to detail and is quick to respond to any questions/issues I have, thus giving me the feeling she is on top of her game. I have the utmost confidence in her abilities to effectively manage my properties, and she often goes above and beyond to help support me. I’d also like to thank Deborah Grierson, Senior Letting Consultant for her continued support and professionalism.

Both are a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the great work.

Great customer service

My family and I have been renting through Romans for 10+ years now with no issues. Our concerns have always been dealt with swiftly and in a friendly manner. Fairly recently, Jacqueline Miles-Miller has been managing the property and has always been very responsive and communicative when dealing with our concerns. My experience with Romans as a whole has always been a pleasurable one. Great job!

Abysmal property management

Absolutely abysmal property management.
I moved into a property they are supposed to manage to find it disgustingly filthy, clearly not checked, smoke alarms 18 months out of date (lucky previous tenants!) I had to hound them for weeks to get them to do something about the issues and not one of the issues was addressed with any real apology or acceptance of failure to do their job. Their response (after chasing many times) "we have a receipt for the professional cleaning" ... well, clearly no one actually looked to check the cleaning had been done ... or that the property complied with the law.

Examples of the filth: curtains stained; carpets full of moths and matted with dog hair; mouldy food in the fridge; urine on seats and around the base of the loo, window frames mouldy; and much, much more ... Thankfully, all photographed as evidence.

Unpleasant experience with Fleet…

Unpleasant experience with Fleet branch, placed an offer and was accepted, aware this wad subjected to the seller finding new place. Sales there are more interested in referral fee for solicitor, survey, asking me why I didn't proceed the survey after offer being accepted. No buying property experience before, I quickly arranged my surveyor to do the survey and thought this will proceed further. Came back to me legal process will not happen after seller find the new place. Have been asking for the update time and time, no more update and I have to search another property. Waste my £650 for the survey, totally unprofessional.

Having had a very tough few years as a…

Having had a very tough few years as a landlord, with three property managers in charge of managing our house, things look like they are looking up. (The previous manager lied on several occasions to cover up her errors.) The current property manager, Aston Busby, seems to be very efficient and understanding of our needs as a landlord. If I send an email to her, I generally get a response on the same day which is a huge improvement from before. My only slight issue now is that when work needs to be carried out, it would be really useful to get three (or at least 2) quotes for the work in one email so that we can compare prices effectively. Thank you Aston for your organised, efficient managing of our property.

Romans did their thing!

Romans Fleet helped us sell our property extremely quickly, they were very helpful with the process including I.D checks and keeping us posted during the process.

We are sad to leave fleet but have our new lives in the very South West to look forward too and wish Romans and our buyer the very best.

Teamwork

During the course of a quite involved sale, the team at Romans - Fleet managed to steer us safely through a series of complications and setbacks, resulting in the desired happy ending. In what would otherwise have been a stressful process, Eleanor (with her kind encouragement and sympathetic attention) Dan and Joe - along with Natalie, in sales progression - kept us in the loop at all times, working hard to negotiate with all parties in order to resolve all obstacles as they arose.
