We are lucky to have a great property manager as tenants. Kim Stockley (Senior Property Manager) is so helpful and supportive when we have needed to contact her or report any issues. I find her responsive via email, but she has also always been happy to have a phone call when needed. I greatly appreciate when Kim has taken some extra time to explain things to me thoroughly and/or offer reassurance when I've needed it. We have had a few property managers over the years, and she stands out for her efficiency, and her caring and friendly manner.

The sale of my property was not straight forward but thanks to Carl Atkinson, Esther Binnie, James Fleming and the team for keeping me calm. I am so grateful for their support and ensuring I was in the loop every step of the way. I would highly recommend Romans when selling a property.

Excellent communication. Kept us informed at all times and very quick to respond to queries. Would definitely recommend.

On time and prompt with all different steps, that was very much what made up my mind to go with your agency , one agency didn’t turn up and forgot the appointment, arrived after calling to prompt them about the appointment, the other one couldn’t fit me in until a week later, so the speedy service of your company made all the difference.Only negative I wasn’t told at first meeting about the charge for photography and Energy certificate.

What an absolute amazing bunch of people that work there and a special thank you to Sam Morton who has definitely gone the extra mile to help make the moving process as smooth as possible. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been in rentals my entire working life & with the exception of CarillionAmey who managed MOD married quarters, I have never had such poor responses to defects or been so ripped off when moving out of a property. Costing me well over £600 (incidental £50 more than I sold my car for) for a house we rented for just 15 months and left in better material condition than we found it. Sorry tell a lye, with the exception of one screw I put in to hold a mirror and several crumbs found in the seal of the fridge door... on second thoughts maybe they had a point! Examples of the claim were £25 for missing flowers - we moved out in winter, they are perennial! Charging for a cleaning company to fully clean the house, again! And of course at a higher price than the cleaning firm we used. This was all challenged and put to the so say impartial HF Resolution Ltd. However this is all done via the estate agent who deliberately did not submit evidence provided. My wows are eclipsed by colleagues and friends who have had the same treatment when renting through Romans. They have been charged sums over £2000 on moving out of a property. In short I would rather be homeless than rent through this lot again!

In my experience Buying from this company is completely different than renting from then .
We would personally not recommend renting with Roman’s.
They pride themselves on being professional and very organised .
Our experience is very different.
We have been very accommodating, allowing Estate agents into the flat at anytime/day so they can show potential buyers/renters around.
Estate agents allowed several people to walk around our home on their own, and no one was asked to remove their shoes, even on very wet days. We felt they were very disrespectful. A sticky mark was left on carpet , possibly from someone’s shoe. The branch manager (Windsor) apologised for this , however our property manager was completely dismissive of our concerns, and not helpful at all.
We found the company to be very disjointed.
They could not even arrive for the check out at correct time sending us an email with 10.00 and having it in their diary for 12. The branch apologised stating it is because the company that arrange these bookings are oversea’s! Laughable really!
Just found the company very unprofessional and would not wish to use them again in the future!

I have had excellent help from Kim Stockley from Romans. She is responsive, efficient, empathetic, and caring and has been such a help in getting us settled in the house we are renting and managing the relationship between tenant and landlord. Thanks so much Kim!
