Have your (cherry) cake and eat it, too! 'Sunburst' is a sweet, rich black cherry that's not just for cooking but also eating fresh. In fact, it was the original sweet black cherry. The OG, if you will.
A mid-season variety, your cherries will be ripe and ready to pick around the second or third week of July. Self-fertile, 'Sunburst' will produce good crops all by itself without pollination by another tree.
Ultra reliable, 'Sunburst' won't let you down, run around or des(s)ert you, instead producing impressive yields year on year. It also boasts good disease resistance and laughs in the face of pests.
Thanks to its Colt rootstock, this tree can be grown in a pot and has a max height and width of 4m. Rootstocks restrict the size of a tree to make it more suited for an average garden.
Our trees are usually between 18 and 36 months old at the time of dispatch.
Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming "leggy", and promote stronger, bushier growth.MORE

A unique design stimulates air pruning for a mass of healthy fibrous roots, which results in a healthy tree that will establish quickly in your garden. With each Air-Pot® made to last up to 20 years, we reuse them on the nursery and wrap your mature tree in hessian for delivery - but if you’d rather keep your tree potted, simply add an Air-Pot® to your basket along with your tree.

Gorgeous young tree - perfect gift for my friend’s 60th

The tree arrived in good condition, lots of foliage. It’s been planted in a large patio pot and certainly seems to be thriving. There are lots of new leaf buds appearing, so hopefully it will produce lots of cherries next year.

Unfortunately the tree looked very wilted when it arrived. Has been in the ground for about 2weeks and has barely recovered. Some leaves are brown and crisp.

Late arrival. Tree in poor state and haven’t been able to revive. Only a few leaves left on the branches. Unable to obtain a replacement. Poor customer service for an item that cost so much!

it was delivered by van carefully in a long box, to which i was happy about. It is now in the ground looking very happy and i am waiting for the first flush of flowers to appear.
