Have your (cherry) cake and eat it, too! 'Sunburst' is a sweet, rich black cherry that's not just for cooking but also eating fresh. In fact, it was the original sweet black cherry. The OG, if you will.
A mid-season variety, your cherries will be ripe and ready to pick around the second or third week of July. Self-fertile, 'Sunburst' will produce good crops all by itself without pollination by another tree.
Ultra reliable, 'Sunburst' won't let you down, run around or des(s)ert you, instead producing impressive yields year on year. It also boasts good disease resistance and laughs in the face of pests.
Thanks to its Colt rootstock, this tree can be grown in a pot and has a max height and width of 4m. Rootstocks restrict the size of a tree to make it more suited for an average garden.

The tree looked ok but the roots were not very good. The one major root was snapped off near the main tap root. I have planted it with some hope that it will establish. I'm afraid that I did not photograph it before planting.

Again, time will tell if this will be a good buy or not. However, I am very happy with the cost for this healthy looking bare root tree. I have planted it in a pot to keep it smaller and I look forward to eating it's succulent fruit in the Summers to come. I would not hesitate to buy trees and shrubs from this company again as it is nice to know the plant's roots!

We are absolutely delighted with our Cherry Tree that we purchased from you. Great - Same as Cherokee I planed today.. Great condition Planted today as now raining. Sprayed twice for the darn Vine Weevil. Nicely planted and well watered in.. Plants had already grown a foot since they were delivered Me a happy bunny Printing Cherry Jam label for NEXT year!
