I’ve recently had a kitchen installed and found the whole experience absolutely seamless from start to finish .
The customer service team answered my questions and queries promptly and I have a fantastic quality kitchen.

We recently purchased a kitchen from Roundel for a rental property we were refurbishing. The team at Roundel were excellent offering advice and options around the kitchen design and our product selection. We chose the Durness shaker door with 25mm worktops and Electrolux appliances. The kitchen delivery and installation was seamless and looks great - the quality of the cabinets and the rest of the kitchen furniture is fantastic. I would highly recommend Roundel.

Company cancelled an appointment 10 months ago for a routine inspection to replace doors that had bubbled up ( 3rd or 4th time) . No response to numerous calls, contact with all lead managing directors etc to request a re booking although promised we would be contacted. Disgraceful unprofessional business and service. Felt the need to inform prospective buyers and those trying to resolve issues. Don’t bother, nobody replies or answers emails. Currently having my kitchen doors replaced today by a local
Company at the cost of £2500. They have described the doors fitted by roundell as the cheapest of cheap with a faulty coating. In other words not fit for purpose. Will be pursuing like others a legal route to be compensated. Have a full record of over circa 100 emails and still have the faulty doors as evidence. This company are the true definition of cowboys. Do not trust them. Do not buy from them. My current supplier and builders replacing my kitchen (Reface Scotland) are how it should be done ✔️. Great customer service and quality products from REFACE .
If I could award 0 stars to this shower of cowboys I would. emails get passed around with nobody taking any ownership. I have contacted the managing director and every lead department member. They do not care, legally, as advised, is your only route, and do your bit by sharing your experience. I certainly do not have £2500 spare to spend on a kitchen that should have been replaced under warranty, so will be doing just that. The BBC and trading standards have also been contacted and are interested in finding out more so let them know of your experience! Quite a few fake employers reviews on sites too, don’t be fooled!!

EDIT: I got in touch with Elaine who took ownership of the problem, she spent time figuring out what had gone wrong and we now have the correct handles!

If more staff took the initiative and time to look at the problem at hand, we'd see reviews and ratings rise and customers would be happy.

We bought a new-build, had a Roundel Kitchen fitted. We then ordered additional cupboards for the utility room from them. When ordering, they asked for our Plot Number to ensure everything was ordered correctly.

We gave all the details, the shipped all the cupboards, all matching those installed, but the sent the wrong handles.

We called to tell them and they attitude was immediately defensive, abrupt, accusatory and - quite frankly - VILE! Apparently we gave them the wrong plot details and that's why we have the wrong handles 🤷🏽‍♂️ Yet they managed to provide EVERYTHING else EXACTLY right?

Site Management told us they had the same issue when fitting. They missed a handle off the initial delivery. They called Roundel and asked for one to be sent. They sent brass and not chrome. Site said they sent the wrong one and they sent the same one AGAIN. Only after contacting them AGAIN did they send the correct one.

They've been nothing but ARGUMENTIVE about these three WRONG handles THEY sent and refuse to replace them with the correct ones as per the plot details we provided. Honestly, the cost in wages for staff they've spent arguing over these handles, it would have been cheaper to admit they made a mistake and just send the replacements.

How in earth this company is still trading is beyond me. Everyone on the estate that have had dealing with them have said how disgusting they are and how they just don't care about their customers.

When their cushy little backhanded deals end, they'll be after work and when prospective customers and businesses see their level of service, they'll be out of the running for tenders.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL IN EVERY WAY!

I am taking advice now to begin a claim through the Small Claims Court for a full refund for these units and for my time as these good are not as described, which the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides protection against.

We had no choice but to buy additional units from roundel as used by our builder. The sales staff were so rude. When I complained I was basically told it was tough. Avoid this company!

Needing additional cupboards for our kitchen, we had no choice but to use Roundel, as used by our builder. Our product is fine, but in ordering the extra units, there were delays in initial contact, being given a change of delivery to a later date without explanation, missing parts on delivery. Now there have been further delays with lack of communication about delivery of the missing parts. The house is in a mess, waiting on the missing parts. Hopeless.

I communicated them around the start of the year to replace one of the cabinets with a dishwasher. All I wanted is schematics of how these were fitted, tried to follow-up, but TWO MONTHS and still did not hear from them. AVOID if you will need their help after purchasing their products!!

My cupboards have chips on the corners. The handles got mottled and stained. Worst of all my fridge coating door it simply is raised from the door like a bubble. Another is split. Really bad.

I wouldn’t give them one star if I had the option.
We purchased a new home at the Storey homes site The Sycamores in Blackburn in September 23 and the first thing we noticed on the demo day was the new AEG hob was scratched then the hood flue was also scratched, the Frankie black sink was damaged, the dishwasher wouldn’t open as it wasn’t correct installed, the fridge and freezer door where catching, a door was chipped on the sink and the drawer unit fronts where all out of line, numerous damaged handles and then to top it all off the hob was out of plumb on the front edge and the worktop on the run of units where the sink was installed where also out of line to the front of the units by 6mm
Through the builders it took weeks to try and get everything resolved and to be fair if we had purchased this kitchen independently I would have paid ( it really is that bad) Roundel have effectively adjusted what they can and pretty much walked away, unfortunately one of the doors on the dishwasher has started to delaminate due to the dishwasher opening when its program has finished and steam escapes, we have now deactivated this system but Roundel state this wouldn’t be covered under their warranty but as a goodwill gesture they will give me a door but I’ll have to get it fixed!! We have had no apology from them during the weeks and weeks of issues to now have this thrown at us. Their only excuse for the poor installation was that Story Homes rush them through and they are on a fixed price.
Please please avoid this company at all costs and Story Homes as well.

Kitchen doors bubble up. Not fit for purpose. Doors replaced after a lengthy process. New doors do the same under the two year guarantee. Inspector, booked in . They cancel appointments , no reason given. Customer service poor, they do not reply. Can even purchase replacement doors. Clearly the small person does not count and they only deal with large building companies and contracts. The most frustrating experience ever trying to resolve issues from their woeful products. Caution is required dealing or not being able to deal with this company. AVOID if you can.

Bought a new build from Persimmon. Kitchen wasn't finished correctly and work tops damaged. After 18 months chasing eventually the new work tops turn up on the one day I said they could not come, luckily my even was canceled last minute and I was home but then had to scramble over kitchen parts waiting for fitting later in the week. Doors warp if they get wet (really useful near a sink) new benches are scratched to bits in a week they are awful quality might as well have made them from paper. Doors fall of the hinges all the time and are a nightmare to get back on. Customer service is awful won't speak to you email only then don't answer the question you asked. Avoid at all costs.

These kitchen units are the worst. Badly made, badly installed, cheap and tacky. I think they used Stevie Wonder to fit ours in our brand new house. Just over 12 months old and the laminate on the doors is bubbling and peeling. The wall cupboards are so out of line the doors don't stay open. Customer care said it was my fault for cleaning my cupboard doors with a floor steam cleaner even though we've never owned one. Absolute joke of a company, go elsewhere if you can. Avoid like the plague.

Bought a new house from Bellway and our Kitchen was supplied by RoundelKitchens. we discovered many faults in the Kitchen. The company listened and fixed it all. I would like to thank Robert Bull and Nick who fixed the kitchen. They were patient. They were flexible and fixed it all. I am now happy and recommend the company.

6 months later we still have numerous faults which they show little interest in fixing. When they do bother to turn up parts are missing and they refuse to do anything not on their list, which is a lot shorter than our list. So we have to book another appointment and the cycle repeats.

Avoid this company at all costs.
