All of the staff at Borras Park Wrexham Pharmacy are incredibly helpful regardless of how busy they are, nothing is too much trouble from advice to service. The counter staff were dressed up for Halloween bringing a smile to customers faces

Sadly I cannot recommend Rowlands following a really unsympathetic and unhelpful experience regarding my medication. Having got a text to say my prescription was ready on Monday when I went to collect on the Thursday I was told that one item was no longer available. This is a med that cannot just be stopped and I had one tablet left. I enquired why I was not informed by a quick call or free text to let me know the situation so I could take action and was told that they ‘didn’t have time’ to do this and also ‘didn’t have time’ to check if any other pharmacy had a supply. I was saddened by the lack of customer care in this instance and an outright unwillingness to assist me in resolving what is a worrying medical issue. I now have to book an emergency GP appointment to try to sort out this out and I will no longer be using Rowlands for my pharmacy needs. I asked a few of my friends/family of their experience with other pharmacies and all were shocked by my experience, indeed some highlighted how helpful their pharmacy had been by contacting them if there were dispensing issues. It seems that Rowlands pharmacy policies just don’t factor in any customer care/communication because clearly they keep their staff too busy with other matters.

The staff have no human empathy or professionalism. I was straight up lied to on the phone because someone had no idea what they were talking about and gone repeatedly without medication because of Thier inability to communicate with customers. Will be moving pharmacy

Well what can I say! Bought 2 items at Wythenshaw hospital today! Not offered a receipt! Thought it was expensive so….. I went back and checked the prices! Overcharged by over 5pounds!!!! Raised this with last at counter - gave me back my five pounds! No apology no explanation! I know what I think about this! Beware!!!!!

The pharmacist I saw today at my consultation was just wonderful (so sorry I didn’t catch her name) I woke up this morning with awful throat pain turns out it was viral AND bacterial tonsillitis the pharmacist prescribed me antibiotics she was very thorough and caring what a fantastic pharmacist she is, examined my tonsils and explained everything very clearly, as well as to keep an eye out for red flags and what to do if the illness does not improve. The pharmacist even checked my oxygen levels. I phoned the pharmacy at 10am she was able to book me in for 10:30 the same day all very smooth sailing after my own doctors surgery couldn’t see me today as they could only see ‘emergency patients’ Very happy with this Pharmacy First service.

I went into Rowlands in Barrhead today with an eye issue and an issue with my baby, I was served by a girl named Kirsten and she was great, she put my mind at ease and gave me her time, I have had a few bad experiences with other pharmacies in Barrhead so it was refreshing to have someone so knowledgeable and understanding and also nice, I would like to give a big THANK YOU and I will be using Rowlands as my new pharmacy from now on.

Booked a flu jab a week ago using the NHS app. I turned up at the appointment time only to be told they had none left? I explained I had booked it a week ago but staff where not helpful at all I asked why couldn't they have let me know earlier but they could not give a reason. I tried to book another appointment elsewhere on the NHS app but it now thinks I've had my flu jab. This Rowlands Pharmacy could not have been less interested, very poor service

Prescription initially rejected, then accepted. Had to wait two days for a prescription that should have been next.
Who are these people that determine what they will supply and when?
I understand that an emergency prescription can take 48 hours!!!!! And that our local branch cannot carry stocks of medication!!!!
What a disgraceful service.

I work for a care agency and the service at our Rowlands pharmacy is woeful!
We phone ahead to make sure our client medications are ready - every time there is something missing, not packed or forgotten. Sick and tired of it. Have spoken to the staff and explained but they just shrug - no apologies, they just don’t care. Rowlands are an absolute joke. Customer service is non existent!!

Visited today for my unwell daughter with suspected tonsillitis. this Pharmacy does Pharmacy first and my daughter was seen quickly. The pharmacist Haroon and other members of staff were brilliant - no long wait times and excellent service.

My medication very rarely gets collected without a hitch, but that is due to the prescriber not the pharmacy. The staff at the Cannock Hospital Pharmacy are really helpful. Have a good sense of humour, which you need when having to deal with me... very professional, very helpful and all round good bunch or people.

Excellent service for medication now that Doctors Surgery aren't providing. Easy to book online. Pharmacist very friendly and the appointment was carried out on time. Very impressed with the service and glad to be a customer for my repeat prescription going forward.

I ordered a packet of antihistamine. The pharmacy, asked whether taking medication, which I accept. I paid and then, after accepting payment, asked for personal details re ID driving license or such. I do not believe this is the norm and I await the refund.

Due to deliver chemotherapy drugs to my wife. These will need to be signed for. Sent us a text saying will be delivered between 10.00 and 18.00 tomorrow. OK after 12.30 but not before so rang Rowlands and explained the situation. Woman who answered phone was disinterested and unhelpful. Said that nothing can be done, it all depends on how the driver plans the route. Agreed to try to highlight this to driver but no promises. 1. I think it stinks that people should be forced to stay in all day, the Company should address this; 2, this person needs training in how to respond to telephone calls from the public.

Terrible experience. Placed an order online. Provided photo ID by request! They charged my card then told me I had cancelled my order. I didn't, THEY did! Then told me I must wait up to 10 working days to get my money back. Customer service were useless. Avoid.
UPDATE: Had an apology for what it was worth. Had my money back but a pointless exercise as I didn't get the order I wanted in the first place.

On Monday the doctor sent a prescription to this pharmacy for my elderly mother. On Tuesday I went to collect it but was initially told there would be a wait for it… not uncommon in spite of them having it for around 24hours. I did some shopping and on arrival back was told there was insufficient stock (again, this is a frequent occurrence as there appears to be little effort to monitor stock levels) and I would need to come back to collect it later. On asking when, I was told it would be there the following day.
I decided to give them a little time so waited until the Thursday, rather than Wednesday to collect them. On arrival on Thursday I was asked what it was for, was told she wasn’t sure if it was in yet, went to a drawer which she opened and took the medication out. I was then told it would be around a 20 minute wait which I was unable to do as I had an appointment to get to! Surely, outstanding balances should be made up when stock arrives and not when the customer is standing at the counter?!
This means I need to go back for a THIRD time to try to get this, something I find difficult to do as a full time carer!
