An off chance lunch here, sat in reception with excellent seating with my wife on a whim.. service excellent, our beverages tea and coffee of great standard, the we decided lunch, ggod menu, Ribeye and Haddock and Moule stew.. chef.. a memorable meal, best I've had in Deal for a while.

I wish we had done our homework before…

I wish we had done our homework before buying our home with Royal life, infact a resident at the time kept telling us not to buy it! Since moving in he has left!!

Our home has a huge opening in the brick skirt which after complaining several times to the then manager and CUSTOMER SERVICE all they did was throw loose brick into the hole saying they couldn’t afford cement!!! I am sure that would look great in a brochure with Jane McDonald beside it!!

There is a gap around the home big enough to put your hand through it, again management were advised, photos taken, twice promises made of get a trim, that never materialised even after an interview with Head Office

We also were promised a gym, Poole and large coffee lounge but after being here two years that has t materialised

So last year the poop hit the fan and our site with 29 others went into administration!!!! We now have a new name Regency living, but same old crap, same company avoiding paying debtors with a different name, promises that they have contacted HO for our issues and we are waiting for a response.

I guess we are one of the many who got sucked in, so please do your research before buying

I've been dupped purchased a new Royale Life home only to find its a refurbished home!! Been trying to sort things our. With know luck, let's hope the company that has taken over will be a bit more kinder to there residents!!!

BAD MANAGEMENT

i live in Stalmine Hall park 31 days ago the engineer came to service my Baxi gas central heating boiler,on completion he said the boiler was ai but the gas pressure was low and he had to turn my boiler off he telephoned the emergency call out team they came within the hour told me i needed a new gas meter and disconnected my gas meter. i have now been without heating and hot water for31days,i am a disabled pensioner aged aged 80 and after numerous calls to royale park homes and plenty of promises,they have now blocked my telephone calls, as they are my gas supplier my hands are tied , it,s disgusting how they have treated me, today it is 1mounth without hot water and my last shower was33 days ago ,i have lived here for 20years and never missed payment on any off my bill, not a very good for a milti million pound company shame on you ROYALE PARK HOMES AT STALMINE MR ALBERT FLETCHER

Since my last posting about the dumped…

Since my last posting about the dumped building material on a vacant plot (from the unauthorised/Illegal removal) from 2 Lodges, the Rubbish/waste area has not been attended or cleared for 6 weeks. You could hardly enter the area for the volume of bags nearly 5feet high. We had had the usual fob off by the so called Manager that it was in hand and not to put anymore rubbish there. The Administration company was informed and a skip would be provided for removal. Nothing was forthcoming so we, the home owners committee looked into the problem. Cost would have been £350 to clear the floor area, and £2,000 to clear all and take away to a Centre. Today Mon 18th it was finally cleared thanks mostly not by the Management (both who were on Leave with Mr Gautry the stand in returning on the 19th) but by Chris the Jack of all trades who is worth more than ANYONE at Royal Life. As for the so called Senior Financier dealing with the Site Fee & Utilities payments, no comment. I am not an Accountant and won’t do payments sent by PDF’s with site fees and utilities etc all on the same statement. I want (and am entitled to them being) Seperate Royal Life headed paper with Site fees on ONE and Utilities on the other & with NO code letters or numbers before or after each payment due. Very unProfessional. As for their so called Customer Care, you try contacting them by the email or phone number. On EVERY occasion I have had to ring the Royal Life Number to get anywhere. A more appropriate name would be “ROYAL STRIFE”

I placed a deposit for a new home on…

I placed a deposit for a new home on the Royale Life site called Silver Mists back in February 2023. The home was never built by Omar as there is a dispute with Royale Life. When the home was due to be ready in June, I was told that the plot could not be used due to electrical supply issues, then I found out that the home I’d ordered had not been built. I requested my deposit back and have now been told that they are in administration so I am unlikely to see that again! They have lied about everything from the start of the process. Do not buy or give any money to this company!

Ongoing Subsidence

As on my last 2 reviews I would give minus stars if possible. After years of waiting and serious head injury we got part of the rear garden levelled until the cause of the subsidence is corrected. It’s a good job I haven’t held my breath as I would be dead now as we have heard that the subsidence is NOT now going to be addressed.
Beware if buying from RoyaleLife as they do not have indemnity cover as advised by a solicitor trying to get a claim for the serious head injury my husband received as a direct result of RoyaleLife incompetence.

We have recently moved to Castle view court pevensey bay where we was welcomed from day one with care thought and attention to our dream home the destination is stunning and all the staff have been excellent and have gone over and above to make this a wonderful experience expecially Lisa and Cherian thanks again everybody Matt and Christine Clifford

I would give 0 stars as it's a joke I'm disabled we residential at happy valley caravan park so we stuck here my roof blew off and it's tied down to my fence which blew down twice and to metal step which move as they not fixed the straps is too short as it ment to go all the way around nope they tied it it's been like this 3 months got promise a new caravan 3 months ago !!! my son fallen through the caravan floor twice and it's going again the whole caravan patched up it over 60 years old !! I've fallen multiple times in the garden in caravan as it's all steps outside which none are level in side I got to use my crutches as it's not level at all it's mould everywhere windows don't even close properly it's single glazed so it's freezing in winter I have heating on plus heaters I'm residential so I'm stuck here as council won't move me without a letter from Royalelife but they just give me fake promises I've rang for past 3 week sent to answer phone as they gave me adviser who don't seem to care this caravan was ment to be temporary then that way nearly 5 years ago as the old owner sold to royalelife and they don't care about any of us at happy valley !!! So I'm trapped in nightmare I can't even get out of my caravan so my depression and anxiety got worse don't buy or rent or anything from Royalelife they happy just getting your money and that it oh and the ramp they put in after I fell off my scooter coming down the kerb outside my caravan as the ramp which was there gave way and sent me to hospital and I had a bleed on brain which resulted in a stroke so put a new ramp a tarmac one the workers use my scooter to roll it as they didn't have the right tools the ramp just sinks or gets stuck to everyone shoes in clumps so I don't use it or go out at all the sink in bathroom falls off the wall they fix it then with in a week it falls off again now water for sink turned off I showering down my mother and father as I got a massive tub step shower which I can't get in as I can't lift my legs over it I can go on and on with all problems thanks for making my life a nightmare and unliveable Royalelife plus they don't answer they phones !!!

Let down big time.

Did not want to even give one star!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lies lies lies. Get told things are on order (turf) and alike things never appear builders were to arrive last Monday we are still waiting garden needs redoing as it has sunk it’s so uneven we twist our ankles nearly every time we go out there.

Been here for 15 months now and still cannot access our front door as there is a fence erected right in front of our home cutting off the still building site where nothing is happening the builders have all left for some reason so no end in sight.
We are paying for promised 24hr security which is in our contract they have also left don’t know why? We are really worried as our whole life savings has gone into this home.
No guidance from customer care team as I have had no dealings with them over this I have spoken to our park supervisor verbally and email so I don’t understand your reply.

I have a unit on happy valley porthcawl I oct last year there was a electrical issue that made my area without electricity it is now June workmen have been in site but have now disappeared not even doing half job all we get is excuses Royalife customer service is none existent no calls from head office with explanations or apologies.this is my home it was supposed be my last home to enjoy retirement if you take my advice stay clear they are a bunch crooks don't get me wrong they have given me a unit to stay in but 8 months with no heating etc in my unit walk you can imagine damp has set in its ruined and life savings I vested down the pan do RoyaleLife are NO

The issue you are referring to was a mains infrastructure electrical issue, due to the mains electrics never having been upgraded or invested in by the previous owner. RoyaleLife has spent a considerable investment installing a new supply, however due to the infrastructure and age of the caravans it is not something that has been able to be done quickly. All those affected were provided alternative accommodation. Thank-you.

Let down by Royale Life

Totally let down by Royale Life for the last 3 1/2 years. I agree with Colin Hodkinson’s comments. Our site has been waiting for 4 years for a pool, gym and coffee lounge. There is an outdoor pool on site but it needs repairing, the only water in it is rainwater but it could have been used as an ice rink in the winter. We keep hearing about all the other sites they are opening but how about finishing the ones they have started. It seems that all work has to done three times and is never finished.
Recently wrote to one of the directors hoping to get answers to some questions, email not even acknowledged. Was I surprised, we never get answers. With respect customer care there is no point getting in touch with you either as the answer is always ‘that the work is going on in the background’.
Wish I had never heard the name Royale Life. Many other residents feel the same.

moved to meadowlands court in november…

moved to meadowlands court in november 2022 after waiting 16 months to get here! we live by the boundary and despite being promised before we moved in the high overhanging trees would be cut down and the perimeter fence erected, nothing has been done. it seems like once you are in whatever you ask for you are ignored. also the facilites that were promised,swimming pool coffee shop gym etc simply dont exist.recentlysome residents tried to get some on site activities organised but have had zero responce from royal life. my point here is when are royal life going to have the same after sales service as the before sales one!! or is this too much to ask. i used to run my own small business for 30 years and to us the customer was king,no customers = no business.

It is all promises and no action by…

It is all promises and no action by Royalelife. Roads are breaking up, no full time supervisor, do not get your monies worth from the high pitch fee you pay for. Not informed when changes are being made. I would never have bought a Parkhome, but l cannot afford to sell because of the 10% they take from you for doing what!

All that glitters is not gold. Think before you buy.

We nearly purchased at Forest Court and were given ample time to look at units and with no pressure at all. The sales staff seemed very genuine.
However we had a big concern that we would be spending £300k and effectively be handing over total control of our environment to Royale Life. Having researched them this seemed to be a huge risk.
The units were new but we noticed that they seemed to be aging quickly and that set up and finishing was no where near as good as bricks and mortar.
Finally decided to buy bricks and mortar house just up the road which was cheaper and will appreciate in value and doesn’t have a company running our environment.
Glad we did; popped by the site recently to find it looking deserted…..only the occupied units left there and all other units that had been for sale have been removed and brickwork skirts and steps destroyed. The site looks awful. I would have been horrified to find we had just spent all that money only to be left marooned on a deserted building site.
My advice; don’t be taken in by the beautiful interiors and designs…all that glitters is not gold. Buy bricks and mortar if you can.
