Do not under any circumstances purchase…

Do not under any circumstances purchase anything from this site. It is a Chines fraud, run by criminals that take your payment, then you never hear from them again. Their site details don't exist, their email address is fake. Any so-called reviews from customers are also a lie.

Unprofessional and disappointing

I ordered a watch from the Royal London website as a birthday gift (22/08/24). It arrived and it didn’t look like the watch on the website, as the colours of the hands were different. The watch also didn’t work properly- It has three functions the time the date and the day of the week and you can’t change the day of the week.

I called up to explain the problem, and I was told that I had to pay to return the watch myself.

The lady I spoke to put the phone down on me twice to find her manager and call me back to get this information. I was told that her manager was unable to speak to me on the phone or to call me back.

I asked to make a complaint and was told to send an email to their generic email address. Apparently they have a no name policy so I don’t know who I am sending an email to or who I am complaining to.

This is actually the second time we have ordered a watch from Royal London and had to send it back. The first one (ordered 1/8/24) was described as a unisex watch, but when it arrived it was far too big for my wrist. It was clearly a man’s watch. We paid to return this one as well. All in all I will have spent £17.90 and wasted time and energy, plus the huge disappointment of not even having a watch at the end of it.

I thought I was choosing a well made watch from a reputable British brand/company. Instead, I have only experienced poor quality and workmanship, inaccurate product description and unsatisfactory customer service. I am extremely disappointed and have to conclude that Royal London is not the company I thought it was. I would strongly advise against buying online from this company as it is not possible
to determine the quality of their products or know if the watch you order will look the same as what you see online.
