Would give zero stars if possible . Will no longer order anything if royal mail are used.
Yet again the item didn’t get delivered…
Yet again the item didn’t get delivered on time. This company should have the name royal removed. There’s nothing royal about it anymore. It’s the worst delivery service we have now. The other courier companies beat it on everything.
Bad customer service
I called Royal Mail today to register a complaint with my post going missing and being opened. I spent nearly 30 minutes waiting to speak to an advisor. When my call was eventually answered I began explaining my problem and the advisor just left the call and put my call back in the queue. This is really bad customer service and incredibly rude and unprofessional!
Royal Fail
Royal Fail! What a bunch of dossers! Can’t even write let alone deliver! Give it to Amazon you failures!
Bad communication
Received no information regarding an upcoming delivery, just received an email stating an 'attempted delivery was made' half an hour later. A customer cannot track a delivery if not provided with a tracking number, therefore probably won't be in when attempting delivery (although.....I was). Poor service this time.
Shame I can’t give zero
Shame I can’t give zero
Every time I order something online and it says Royal Mail are to deliver it I just know there will be an issue
Can’t decide if they are bone idle illiterate or just taking the p@ss
They ask for delivery instructions then find it impossible to follow them but the best bit is when you waiting all day and then get a message saying they tried to deliver and no one was home 😡😡😡wtf
Jed went above and beyond for me and…
Jed went above and beyond for me and helped me out by giving me my parcels that I was going to miss when I saw him on the road near my local post office on Ainsworth Road, as I wasn’t in and kindly letting me use his bag to carry them home as they were so heavy which he came and picked up after. Such great service and always so friendly! BL8 Bury Area.
Lost in Space??
I got confirmation that an item i purchased had arrived at the Northern Ireland Royal Mail center on Sunday 24/05/2026 and that it would be delivered on Tuesday the 26/05/2026 due to the public holiday. I am still waiting for the package and it is now 29/05/2026 ,also the tracking stage has not altered. I submitted a form about this 2 days ago and no one has replied. I have tried phoning Royal Mail but the waiting time is over 40 minutes.
Tracked 48 service to a business…
Tracked 48 service to a business address has now taken 9 days (including a weekend) to be delivered. It still hasn't been delivered and when I checked the tracking information, it seems Royal Mail keep trying to deliver the item either before 9am or after 5pm. TO A BUSINESS ADDRESS! This will be the last parcel I send via Royal Mail. It's almost as if they want to discourage people from using them!!
1st class is a joke
Posted a anniversary card a week in advance using a first class stamp. The letter took 8 days to arrive missing the anniversary! So much for a first class next day service! I complained to royal mail and hot a standard reply with no apology or explanation of the delay. Absolutely useless
Parcel running late
My parcel was supposed to arrive between 8:45am to 10:45am and still hasn’t arrived yet. Am i ever furious
Did not "attempt to deliver my parcel"
NO, Royal Mail delivery person.
You say you "attempted to deliver my parcel and there appeared to be nobody in".
That is a LIE. I was in all the time that you said you would deliver. I didn't even go in the garden.
You just messed up and blamed me. Now I have to wait in again.
Useless.
I would give minus stars if possible
I would give minus stars if possible. Royal Mail have been on a downward trajectory for years, but the last 12 months it has absolutely plummeted. I have my third item in a row delayed (email received this morning) as a result of going to Preston MC instead of Wigan. Tracked 48 hour services are taking on average a week, tracked 24 hours not much better. Absolute joke of a service and I would argue not fit for purpose.
Horrible, stressful experience.
Hugely disappointed in Royal Mail, again.
I bought a very unique and expensive gift as a treat for my 6 year old daughter, who has been struggling with some health issues.
It got held at customs and I paid the resultant charge. I arranged redelivery. Come the redilivery date, nothing arrived.
I called customer support and spoke with an excellent rep called Titus. He bent over backwards to help, but sadly his efforts were marred by the rest of Royal Mail.
The local depot were supposed to call me back, but didn't. Titus again tried contacting them on my behalf, but still no call back from the depot.
I trekked down to the depot, children in tow, only to be told they can't find my parcel, but they'd call me...guess what? No call.
After a week, I AGAIN called customer services and this time spoke to a "robot" called Priyanka, who ignored what I said and just repeatedly told me my parcel had been delivered, despite the tracking clearly saying it's at the local depot. She just ignored me and fobbed me off to some higher team, who will...CALL ME BACK. Yeah, right!
Priyanka says it's delivered. The depot says it's lost. The tracking says it's ready for redelivery. So without any official confirmation it's lost, I can't even get a refund or replacement from the seller. £250 gone! (And the duty I paid!)
This is the third parcel Royal Mail have lost (stolen?) in the last year or so, and the second gift for my daughter.
Royal Mail is not fit for purpose, and besides Titus, it's customer service and communication are shockingly bad.
Love our postie!
Whenever u have parcels delivered via RM I never have many issues.. items are stored safely and are not even often damaged..
Postie is friendly and I enjoy their service.
Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service. I waited in all yesterday in as my parcel showed it was 30 minutes away.,it never arrived. This morning Royal Mail actually LIED and said they tried to deliver it but nobody was home.
.
Royal Mail are the worsted postal service in the land
Absolute thieves
Absolute thieves , seem to be marking items as delivery attempted when it hasnt been and then parcel never seen again
If you want your item to be not delivered and pocketed by the mail man then go ahead and use these. If you want your customer to receive the items you posted then use someone else
Tried once - Didn't leave a card - who knows where the parcel is now?
Received a parcel from online vendor. Goodness knows why but it must have been to be signed for. Didn't leave a card to tell us they'd tried. Eventually managed to understand that was the situation. They tried only once then deposited it in a Post Office goodness knows only where since I tried the two closest. Useless!¬

I posted a letter in our local high street letter box at ex34 9qe over 2 weeks ago . It is a letter box that gets emptied every day. And it's 14 days now, and there is still no signs of my father ( only 2 hours away )receiving this envelope, I put more than ample amount of stamps on. I've also put sender's address and it hasn't even come back to me.\n I can't believe they can actually charge this amount of money when there isn't really a service anymore. These papers are going to be arriving too late, so All that money and time has been wasted. To be honest , it's not even worth a one star
