Bought quite a few coins in the sale. Really pleased with the quality and packaging. Delivery didn't take very long at all. Will be ordering again.
I brought a coin for the Great British Treasure hunt, only to find the inscription was missing from the edge. I emailed and was told to sent it back for a replacement, but with very little time to finish the treasure hunt I was concerned. Instead I ordered a second coin in the hope it would have the correct inscription. I did not. I now have two coins without a key part of the puzzle, I am absolutely gutted.

All items ordered eventually arrived and in good order. However, the order was split into several deliveries without telling me what is being delivered. When I queried no response. When I made a complaint on line no response.

The great British treasure hunt was one of the most enjoyable treasure hunt experiences I have ever participated in , it brought together many different aspects of Issac newtons life where coding looking at things from different perspectives and share determination and knowledge was required , in terms of enjoyment I was probably one of the most enjoyable elements a company has added to their stock and inventory, would love for a second one
What a great experience, bought a few items from the spring sale section, kept updated on posting etc, fantastic service and will definitely be using again.
Had to wait so long for item to be dispatched. At no time was I advised it would take two months for it to be sent. Unlikely to buy from RoyalMint again. Better to buy elsewhere for around same price.

I sold a gold coin the the Royal mint. They confirmed they had received the coin and tested it, and they credited the amount to my RM account. However, I then tried to withdraw the money to my bank account and I received an email saying they needed some verification about ownership of the account. I provided the information, and they stopped responding to me. My RM account now shows zero balance and the money has not been received into my bank account. It's been over a month and they are not replying to any communication - I've even sent letters by recorded delivery and tried waiting on the phone for over an hour.
Utterly terrible service.

I bought The Great British Treasure Hunt coin. The purchase was simple and the coin was delivered quickly.
I loved the puzzle element to the coin and thought the packaging was great. Overall a wonderful experience and a lot of fun!
The service is always prompt, and or if there is any need to phone them, they are always helpful.
3.6 stars on Trustpilot (when writing), should have read before placing an order with The Royal Mint.
2 months of communicating directly (email and phone) with the Royal Mint, waiting for my coin to be delivered, assured by them that order was still in place, only to be told last week that my payment had been declined on 29th January when I first placed the order. I sent them proof that the money had been taken from my account on that day and never returned to me.
So, upshot is that they did receive the money and they have been sitting on several thousand earning them and not me the interest.
Now I'm told they will refund, but it might take 5 to 10 days - RIP OFF
Don't think I'll be using or recommending their services any time soon.

No apology, no offer of loss of interest, Still not resolved as I have not actually received my money back. Just like all the other replies to the negative feedback that they receive. Tick box so as people see that they have replied to all the dissatisfied customers.

I just wanted to thank The Royal Mint's Sean, who kindly responded so swiftly on the 16th March 2026, a mere whole month after my email of....16th February following up my January query.
He was kind enough to ask, "What items were you trying to purchase, and are you still experiencing this issue?" - referring to my email in which I'd helpfully pasted a copy of what I was trying to purchase.
It's glorious to experience The Royal Mint Customer "service" in full Reverse-Darwinian evolution mode.
I can't recommend it enough; in fact, I can't recommend it all.
They will soft-soap answer you quickly on this public forum.
But they fail to engage privately either at all, or in a timely fashion, or let alone in full or accurately.
Just do not use The Royal Mint.

Great service, easy to use site. Lots of options to suit your investment style and needs.
Usally coins are ok but the last coin im very disappointed in and serious lack of quality control. The coin has arrived with no writing around the edge of the coin and is sharp to rub finger over. The rest of the coin has small chips around the edge, striking is very poor one side has not been polished and is flat like its been in a pocket for years and a couple of scratchs on the polished side.
The coin arrived less than 24 hours ago and looks like its been around a cement mixer for a few years. I have fount that there are a few with no edging but other wise highly polished. I dont know how someone has missed these and the person who made mine must of skipped a few steps or fell out before finished and just thought it will do. Its hard to do a coin hunt with no words around the coin. I pay overpriced because of the quality to get bunc coins not ones that are worse than my 1531 groat. Very dissapointed in quality, seems rushed and lack of care by those who have made it. Anyone looking at it would see 1 of at least 3 faults.

I placed an order on 11/2/26 for which there was an expected dispatch given of 5-10 working days. To date, I have not received my coin. I have emailed and called several times. I was told 3 weeks ago that it was on a pallet ready for dispatch but despite asking several times for a timeframe of dispatch and delivery, CS have failed to give me any fruitful update - i keep being told i will be given an update but nothing has been given. This has been the 3rd time where my royal mint bullion order has not transpired. The whole situation has made me upset and even more anxious.

The Royal Mint’s products are great—coins and information folders—but customer service has recently become a mess. I live in the US and now have to place orders by expensive phone calls. The Mint has twice informed me that my orders are going to be cancelled because of a problem with my credit card after successfully charging my card. Yesterday I got an e-mail that an order had been delivered; it had not, and when I checked the tracking I was told that the tracking code was not recognized. If you e-mail about issues you get an automated reply that it may take up to five days for a reply. Just awful.
