I bought a product showing in stock and delivery showing within 3-5 working days.
When the 5th working day past I sent an email and Royal Mint said my order would be delivered shortly within 5-7 working days of order.
I’ve still not received confirmation of delivery.
I chose to order from the Royal Mint and pay a premium thinking they’d be a good reliable company.
The company’s phones are not working apparently a technical issue which has been weeks now, has to be an excuse in this day and age.
Very disappointed, I’m in the dark it’s causing anxiety and I would not use again.
The product is still showing in stock on the website…..

the Royal Mint compared to others were 100% perfect, reliable & informative thru-out the buying process.
After placing my order I didn’t get any acknowledgment until the order was dispatched.
The coins were delivered by DHL and 1 was missing! After contacting the Royal Mint by phone I was eventually contacted by email about a week later.
Despite then sending photos that clearly showed 1 packet was missing I received an email to say the photo showed they were all there. I then numbered the packets in the photo and it was acknowledged that I was correct.
I have now been advised that I need to wait nearly 2 months for the replacement.
I have experienced more delivery security with low price eBay purchases!!
If we had been out I believe the DHL driver would have left them on the doorstep!

Delivered on time as described great all round service
Notified of items when they were back in stock. Ordered & shipped in 5 working days (as expected). Well packed individual coins in a non-descript box. DHL tracking is OK, but DHL always adds an extra day and on for delivery so the Mint website forecasts a day earlier (more accurate). DHL also subcontract to any white van courier who don't follow instructions and never ask for a signature. Otherwise I'm very happy with the royal mint service
Easy to purchase , informed all the way and delivered securely on time . Perfect
Why don’t they upgrade the website, it’s a bit troublesome and annoying.
I know the metal is precious, but the whole service is not good.
I have an order on 30 Jan 2026, but it is still pending for delivery.
And then, when I input data to link up my bank account, it keeps showing incorrect information. I can’t complete the process at the end.

I bought the 2026 new coin collection as a gift- looks great
Very good, quick response to my questions via online process. And competitive with pricing.
Well it’s 3 weeks since I sent the Royal
Mint Buyback team the 4 gold coins that my father left me to sell. After following all the instructions they provided, I have had exactly the same poor experience and can only agree with others who have written here that the lack of response from Royal Mint is surprising and disappointing from an organisation of such prestige and repute. Emails and phone calls unacknowledged. I am shocked and increasingly anxious about whether my coins have even been received at all or lost in the system, or even in a queue until the price of gold goes down for a reduced sale price. The absence of any information or customer care is now creating real concern and anxiety and I am regretting my decision to sell my legacy by this means.

15/02 still no contact, no response to emails, even to head of customer services in complaint process. It is now a month since my two coins were signed for at your offices and you have failed to contact me or pay the agreed buyback amount. Return my gold or transfer the money otherwise surely this is just theft at this stage?
I have used Royal Mint in the past with no issues however on 13th January I posted two gold sovereign coins for buyback by special delivery. I have sent two enquires since this date to confirm progress and have not received a response or payment for my coins. My last contact on 29/01 was to confirm that the special delivery was signed for at the Royal Mint PO Box on 14th January at 09:48am and i attached the signature and to reiterate that the insurance for this special delivery service was due to expire on 30th January (2 weeks after posting) and asking if you could confirm receipt of my coins. I have not had a reply from my enquires and I am now concerned you have not processed my buyback and my insurance with Royal Mail has expired and i have recieved no payment. I can see others have the same issue from reviews and this falls well below the standards you are advertising. I have also emailed your customer service inbox with no response and your telephone lines have been unavailable for over a week.

It appears they use vague language to mislead people.
when i placed my orders it states " 1 - 5 days for orders to the UK"
It has been more than 1-5 days and there has been nothing of "1 - 5 days for orders to the UK" taking place, no responses to emails or anything of sorts.
It appears they use vague wording to create an illusion and entice you to buy products with them, but do not disclose that what appears they have problems to fulfill orders.
Not a truthful and fair way to conduct business

I have an account which I have been using to invest in Digital Silver, for the past 11 days I have not been able to sell, an ' internal server error' appears and after several conversations with customer care and two emails all they say is the issue has been raised with IT,very concerned as another reviewer has said his silver investment in Digital silver has been frozen. I have now sent a registered letter to headquarters requesting that they solve this issue, I have taken legal advice and will pursue this matter.

I invested some money two weeks ago but it still hasn't shown up in my account as yet . The phone lines are permanently out of use due to a technical problem so all contact is via email.
No one will contact you directly if you ask them ,
I have been constantly fobbed off with " it'll be in there in 1-3 days " so after 2 weeks find this week explanation very frustrating.
If I was thinking of making more investments in the future I would advise people to look elsewhere for a more professional investment company . Do not be fooled by the name .

Very disappointed. I have been using Royal Mint for a long time now.
Unfortunately the last few days have been disasterous. I purchased a large amount of 1oz silver Britannias and after the purchase my account was frozen together with my digital silver. No explantion and no way to talk to anyone about it. I have been sending emails and complaints with no repsonse. I have chatted online and they have no idea what to say as they have no access to our accounts. Royal Mint get your act together. The Royal Mint is supposed to be a government-owned company..

Appalling customer service. The telephone service line has been down over a week. As another reviewer states they say its a wide ranging issue, but for a week! Issues with transferring monies into account. You get non sensical responses from their customer service which make no sense.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
Update: the monies did arrive in my account 5 working days after initial transfer. On website says 1-3 days. Tara's response below didn't deal with my problem. When I contacted them by email/web query and said where was the monies and I had transferred them a fair few days ago, 'Darren' responded and said thanks for the update, but didn't answer my query. I think their customer service team consist of mindless bots who respond with word salads. Given my experience with the firm (possible new customer) and the lack of responsiveness, I transferred the monies back to my bank account. No product purchased

Appalling customer service. I sent in a coin for resale in January , three weeks ago , I have been chasing them for an update on when I am getting paid out for it . Spoke to someone online yesterday who " assured me" he would look into what is going on. Absolutely nothing so far , their reason is they have had a large influx of coins. Will definately not deal with them again.

I purchase the the set of year coins for all my children grandchildren and now great grandchildren. The process is easy and the product very good. Timeless and keepsake
I ordered a silver sixpence from this company on 6 November 2025. I have not received it so I contacted customer service as I have not received it and it is still showing as not yet dispatched.
I received a reply from customer service to say that as I purchased it in 2024 (untrue, it was November 2025). They also told me as 90 days had gone by they are not liable and I would have to take it up with the courier (what courier? It hasn’t even been dispatched). The message from them was basically ‘get lost’.
I will definitely not be ordering anything from The Royal Mint again.
