Excellent experience at the Harrogate shop today as always. I sent a PDF file to be printed 4 times and laminated and it was done very quickly with great communication from James. Thanks
Fellowes shredder
The Fellowes shredder is just what I needed. The Ryman’s online ordering service was excellent, but there was an unexplained delay in delivering the shredder to my local shop from where I collected it.

I ordered some card and other Easter items from Ryman on the 12th March. I received an email from Yodel saying that my item was expected to be received from Ryman and a tracking number provided. A few days later this had not been updated, and no parcel received, so I contacted Ryman Customer Services who responded by saying they would raise it with Yodel. An email from Ryman confirmed a 24 -48 hour wait time. Four days passed and no response from Ryman or Yodel. I contacted Ryman again stating clearly I wanted the order and got a "cut and paste" response saying the items were no longer in stock, and issued me with a refund. Had Ryman bothered to find out what happened to my original order, they probably would have been able to send me my items. Instead they clearly ignored my query and their unnecessary delay massively disappointed me as a customer. To date no refund either! Totally Rubbish.

Ryman Stationery Walthamstow customer complaint
As a longtime customer shopping at the RYMAN STATIONERY WALTHAMSTOW BRANCH, I raised a concern about my bad experience with a member of staff working there and I am glad to report that the management has taken my matter of concern as a matter of urgency and contacted me. It's being followed through. I was a customer who felt disregarded and treated like trash. I wasn't in the shop for no reason and was being helped with my matter of the printer in cartridge until the other member of staff rudely interfered with a souvenistic attitude like he had something against me, shouting at me as if I was at fault. The staff member dealing with my matter simply walk away which is clear evidence of his bullying mentality and reign of fear in the shop.
I have made my point clear, that member of staff has got to be sacked as he can't work in the shop with his toxic behaviour that many customers know about but have ignored.
The resolution is that RYMAN STATIONERY WALTHAMSTOW BRANCH is duty bound to employ professional staff to serve the public.

I am highly disappointed with the…
I am highly disappointed with the service I have received in the stores on both orders I have had with Ryman. With my most recent order at the Kingston store, the person at the print shop didn’t really want to complete the work I needed. For instance, my order involved printing my conference agenda double-sided on two A3 sheets of paper and stapling them to complete a booklet. The staff didn’t want to do the work and suggested I do the stapling. Well, he clearly didn’t know how to fulfil my instruction, as he and the store manager (I think) demonstrated the difficulty of using a hand stapler to bind the papers at the ends instead of the centre. Since I didn’t have time to go back and forth, I bought a Long Arm Stapler from the store and completed the booklet assembly at home in less than 30 minutes. The store team didn’t even know they had the equipment in-store to fulfil my instructions.
After the long-arm stapler and staples, the print shop tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers by telling me what to do next time. This patronising was unwanted and unwelcome. I have over a decade of print industry experience and a qualification in digital communication, so I know he wasn’t an expert, since he didn’t want to do the work to complete my booklet, nor did he know the long-arm stapler was on the store shelves.

There was an assistant at the Camberley…
There was an assistant at the Camberley branch called Remm who helped me so much with ideas for a lifelong gift that I wanted to create for my Grandaughter.
He had such a creative mind and showed me ranges I would never have thought of.
He was charming, helpful and very knowledgable and Rymans should be very glad they have such an employee.
I hope he is awarded recognition for this.

Incorrect product delivered and Rymans have no process to replace it with the correct product.
Placed an online order for A1 size Foam Board but I received A2 size. When I called Rymans Customer Service to request the correct size, they said they had no process to do this - instead, they would arrange to collect the incorrect product and provide a refund and it was up to me to place a new order. When I asked why they could not arrange this for me, they said that the warehouse would probably just send the wrong product again. I reluctantly tried to place a new online order with Rymans but the product is now showing as out of stock. So I've now ordered it from Amazon.

Replacement of faulty shredder
It was an excellent transaction from start to finish - taking only 6 days (including collection of shredder and delivery of replacement). My shredder had stopped working and I asked for repair or replacement under the warranty

Inefficient & dissapointing service experience at Ryman Stationery in Orpington High street!
My partner and I visited Ryman Stationery on Orpington High Street on March 15, 2026, to collect £100 my aunt had sent via Western Union. We anticipated a quick and straightforward transaction but were met with a rather disappointing experience.
When I approached the staff member to collect the money, he informed me they lacked sufficient cash to dispense the £100. This unexpected turn of events left me both surprised and frustrated. Given that the shop offers Western Union services, it’s reasonable to expect they’ll be prepared to provide the funds for customers collecting their transfers.
The inconvenience compounded our disappointment. We had travelled there expecting a hassle-free collection and instead left empty-handed, forced to seek alternative locations. This unnecessary stress and wasted time were truly frustrating.
I hope the store improves this service in the future. It’s very disappointing and frustrating to be told there’s no cash available when collecting money through Western Union. This inefficient service from Ryman Stationery on Orpington High Street is unacceptable. I hope the management investigate this and should not happen again.
