Absolute con
Absolute con! I ordered two Olaplex items which were advertised at half price. The expected delivery date stated 7th August 2023. I followed the tracking updates and on August 2nd, it showed my items were with UK customs awaiting clearance. Its now Sept 6th and my items are apparently still with UK customs. I have emailed the company twice and have had NO reply. Don't waste your money, they are fake!
Cosmetic Sally Scam
Purchased some items from cosmetic Sally on line thought I was getting a bargain as it was for opolex items which was advertised at half price. I was told it would be here on 28th August but nothing has turned up. I had messages when I tracked the items which always had an update time ending with 16 on the end which was strange.
This is a scam so don't fall for it.
Dreadful service. No response or product.
Dreadful service. Phone number turned off. My order was due 28th. Tracking indicated it was out for delivery on the 23rd. Emailed. No reply. Beginning to think this is a scam. Expensive mistake going with this company.
I went to Sally’s Beauty for the first…
I went to Sally’s Beauty for the first time a month because I color my own hair and needed supplies. The employees were very helpful with helping me find the right color for my hair and all the necessary supplies to go along with my hair. The prices were excellent and my hair turned out great. It’s now my go to store for hair products.
Box and contents received wet.
I ordered and received six cans of Frozen Stiff hairspray from Sally Beauty, which has been off the market for a while and just returned. While it doesn't sound like much, the cost was over $60.00. The cans are different than in previous orders, so clearly they have a new manufacturer and this may have contributed to the problem. I thought this was something they might like to investigate, as the shipping box and its contents arrived wet. Maybe these new cans are not right for shipping? When I sent them an e-mail asking for a replacement shipment (there have been 12 e-mails, back and forth now, actually), they continued to ask me the same questions over and over, while avoiding the concept of taking any action. Which can leaked? How would I know? They're all wet! The box is wet. The cans are metal; you cannot see through them. You'd have to weigh them to know which cans leaked. All I wanted was the product I paid for in the condition promised. Their customer service is beyond horrible and I would avoid ordering from them on line at all cost. I have photos of the product and the shipping box, which I've shown them. They just do not offer much in the way of customer service. Very disappointing transaction. I do have photos to verify all, which I have sent to them, as well.
UPDATE: I would like to add that after almost two weeks of back and forth with Sally Beauty, I was able to connect with someone on their Facebook page who actually cared about my experience. I received a full refund for the damaged hairspray and am grateful for the same. I think, in the future, I will order this product as a pick up at the local store. A great product, but just not something that maybe should be shipped? Thank you to Sally Beauty for making things right.

I had a problem with the nozzle of a hairdryer purchased at the Millgate branch yesterday (30/7)
For reasons I won't go into, I decided to go into the other branch with the problem hairdryer today (Monday 31/7) the shop near Matalan, to see if they could help me..and oh boy they did!
The reception, service, help and compassion I received there was exceptional..
Special shout out to Louise (Mary?)
You were so wonderful and helped me choose another hairdryer!..
In my opinion, the true reflection of good customer service is not how nice and smiley staff are whilst selling to you, but moreso, when there is a fault or problem that needs sorting out, how it's handled, and today was an amazing example of really good customer service .... I felt valued...
Thanks so much also to the other young lady there today so sorry I didn't catch your name ( hope you're ok after the unfortunate incident with the flap of the box, felt so sorry for you x)..
You are both fantastic and very good at what you do..Love from Barbara xx ( a very happy customer of over 30 years)

Given wrong advice by seller in Harlow branch and when I went back she blamed it on my hair. i never had issues before with any colour. I asked for Wells, she offered another brand. Not recommend. Obviously they try to sell their own rubbish brand with no after service if it goes wrong.

Ex-employee Experience
I worked for the now-closed location in Mayfield Heights, Ohio last year(2022). Here's what I experienced both personally and when servicing customers.
** Not sharing names, though I know all of them.. So much had happened that I haven't shared that $11/hr was not worth it (especially when new hires got more). I lasted about 5-6 months, and my last couple weeks were humiliating and upsetting to say the least. **
I was brought in as an urgent hire for the location and QUICKLY became a key-holder and assisted with managerial work, including bank deposits (while still being compensated as a 'Beauty Advisor') because I put a lot of time into the company and was often available to the extent of 'on-call' work.
I eventually asked about the Assistant Manager position with my Store Manager (as the AM was leaving the company), and was told that the SM would talk to the District Manager. Along with this, I was able to begin designing a new floor plan to take to the North-Side Manager (and I was very excited).
Near the end of my employment, I found these were not true when I brought up my concerns with the SM to the DM. The DM also confirmed my concerns would be private and would not be named upon ant investigations, again, this was a lie as the following day the SM starts going off on me in front of 3 co-workers on how "she trusted me." Note that I hadn't brought up the issues until they began affect my work or ability to work.
We got a fill-in SM after her walking out from a location in Mentor (not sure the exact one anymore), who treated myself and my coworker as if we had been new hires. Any questions I had were cut short and pushed away as "that's not how that works" and I was not allowed to have ANY contact with upper-management. As we began working the shift, myself and my coworker (who has another job on top of this) decided to walk out.
My local Sally Beauty (South Euclid) is much better than the Mayfield location was, but I only visit as a customer.
Sally Beauty behind the scenes is truly a mess. One of the SMs had employees mix returns (this was told to me back my excoworker that worked under him prior and the SM I worked under). The example used was taking 2 returned nail polish removers and filling one before hazarding out the other, same with hair developer. Our store did not do this as all of us agreed on it not being worth making someone sick because we wanted higher numbers (which didnt make sense as we were not tracked on this for progress). – Admittedly, customers were not the friendliest, but Sally's has no backboard or care for customers as a company, even if the employee in the store cares about the wellbeing of you, your health, your time and your finances.
Sally Beauty is just another brand with focus on power. So many things that happened were unfair, unsafe, or just disrespectful. I regret putting so much into my work, but I do every time anyways.
I still purchase from them occasionally when i need something faster than shipping and only at my local location, but would never recommend them for anything but an 'only option'
Good price good customer service
They took my money and no product
I ordered from the website on may 30th., it's june 11 nothing shipped. They took my money though. They closed several stores at NYC. Terrible customer service in person non existant on the phone. I wished someone warmed me, that isnthe reason why I am writing this review.
I don't know why Sallys Beauty bothers…
I don't know why Sallys Beauty bothers to price items. The shelf price and the price at the register are not the same. I flagged this with the Sallys Beauty cashier that was located at 14151 E Cedar Ave C Aurora Co. They stated they were having pricing issues and wanted to know if I still wanted it for 3 dollars more. I wanted it for the price that I thought it was, not what they get away with if you don't pay attention. This isn't the first time I have had this issue with Sally's Beauty.
