After assembling and trying the chair, it isn’t supportive and gave me back pain (I already suffer from back issues). Unfortunately, I was told I couldn’t return it once assembled, but realistically t... See more

Hi well i have a major complaint,this…
Hi well i have a major complaint, this incident has affected my trying to purchase Anything with credit! I do not have much credit as it is, but the have screwed with me, i have came to the store off college one night with my girlfriend they had a sale and promotion going where if you Buy 60.00$ worth of stuff u can get or apply for a credit card, so as i had purchased over 60.00 i had used my girlfriends card in which i still have the papper trail and bank statement, so i was offered the promotion, so i was able to get the deal of a credit card, after i had purchased the items with my girlfriends card, a week or two later i get a bill stating i owe ( the exact amount ) that i paid for plus a little more, now how is that possible i never had a chance to use there card at, all, i just got a discount and was able to recieve a card, i got the reciept of the purchase that it was on my girls card but im getting billed for a card i have never been able to use, on top of that my credit shows delinquent pay and they keep billing me, i have complained to corporate and customer service but i am getting no where im very pist and about to report this company to BBB , i have already talked with a lawyer because rescently my car was stolen, andi have been denied a finance because of this,,any one else go through this?
clippers for my dog
I needed some small clippers to trim my dogs feet and my barber suggested I try Sally's Beauty in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
The evening lady suggested an Andis Slimline 2 set of electric clippers.
I asked if these were guaranteed to cut dog hair and she said "Oh, yes!"
I get them home and they don't cut.
The next morning I tried returning them and the manager tells me they don't accept returns on clippers. I explained how the evening lady told me they were guaranteed to cut dog hair and they don't.
The manager said "Well she shouldn't have told you that but we're not taking them back."
Had the other lady told me that there were no returns allowed I would not have bought them despite her guaranteeing they would work. It's just not worth the risk dealing with small businesses when you can get better service thru online or big box stores.
They still haven't delivered the order…
They still haven't delivered the order I placed on 05.05.2022. Customer service is not responding. They don't cancel either. The money is waiting in the bank. I don't think I will buy again. Order number: WSA1525179452
Be a little more honest with credit card applications
I have been going into Sally's beauty supply in Strongsville Ohio for a while now. The employees are always very nice and polite and helpful. I do remember one time though when I first started coloring my hair on my own one employee suggested me using 10% developer on my gray hair. Of course it did absolutely nothing to get the gray out and unfortunately I left it on for 40 minutes which damaged part of my hair. When I went back another employee told me I needed to get the 20% developer and that seemed to work fine all the time. That was a long time ago and I never had any issues since however when I went into Sally's yesterday, I was offered to apply for a credit card. I was told that if I was approved I would instantly get $20 off of my $50 purchase right away. I have excellent credit and only two credit cards. One of my credit cards has zero balance and the other has a few hundred dollars so my chances of getting approved was more than excellent. Once I hit the button after answering a few questions the employee told me oh I guess the bank needs more information so if you are approved they will send you a $20 credit for your next $50 purchase. I was pretty upset and felt that I was just scammed. I guess the idea was to get you to spend another $50 in order to get $20 off in the future. I felt this was deceptive. Before I left the store the same employee did it to the person who was standing behind me. I feel they should be honest when saying if you are applying for a sally's credit card chances are you won't be approved immediately. Had I have known I wasn't going to get $20 off my purchase that day I would have never applied for a credit card. I simply don't need it.
Bad customer service
I signed up for their credit card when it was advertised on the home page of the website that I'd receive $20 off .you order of $50 or more if I made an order after being approved for the card. So I got approved and received the email and if I remember correctly I had to click a link to redirect me to a new Sally page to shop and use the discount I should have received. Somehow through the link for the discount I ended up paying for my order with a debit card which was ridiculous since I didn't ever click that option and the link was for a credit card discount after being approved. I was really annoyed at this point and when I messaged Sally's about it they didn't respond so I messaged AGAIN. The response I received was hilarious. They said they could not nor would they give me the discount because they couldn't confirm when I was approved. That's weird because I have an approval email and would have an order number for MINUTES after my approval email.. they don't care about customer service and I felt like they falsely advertised this discount since they could easily email out a one time use coupon code or they could do what I mentioned above and allow me to send attachments of my confirmation to make things right and keep a repeat customer satisfied. I promised myself I wouldn't ever use the credit card just because that first experience was so bad and I'm so glad because there's alot of bad reviews about their credit card customer service. I'll stick to ordering from Amazon
Excellent Staff!!!
We were so please with the attentive staff at Sally Beauty Supply in Venice, FL yesterday. All of the staff were helpful, happy & went out of their way to make our experience so awesome! We will be back!
Predatory Marketing
They love to make it as hard as possible to unsubscribe from emails. I cant stand companies that do this sort of thing. It's very predatory.
Loreal metal detox shampoo and mask is…
Loreal metal detox shampoo and mask is the worse I ever used, my hair lost its color to the tips in just a few washes and it's look extremely burned because of this. Plus my hair feels extremely oily as soon as it dries. They said they is suitable for all types of hair but looks like is good maybe only for bleached one,a lot of money just for bin the products.
Best place to purchase beauty products
I purchased some wella bleach powder, wella 20 vol developer, some olaplex no7 and no0 and a tint kit (bowl, tint brush, and beaker). I purchased these items early hours of Friday morning, and they arrived the very next day! Order is correct, and I am very pleased to have found a good place to buy genuine products that I can trust, coming so quickly too! Products are quite pricey, but not only are there discounts to apply, but the service is excellent and you can trust that they're genuine. Only downside is I would love to see Sally Beauty start stocking Arctic Fox hair dyes.
Manager snoring away in the back room
Despite my last negative experience at the Tsawwassen BC location, I went back recently, because I had heard that there was new management. I’ve been there several times since but was absolutely horrified last time I was there. I couldn’t believe what was happening until I spoke with the sales person.
So, I was looking at hair dryers, and round brushes. There was an open door to possibly a break room. I actually heard someone snoring. Like, full on snoring. Loudly!
I wasn’t sure I had actually heard snoring so, I made a joke to the sales girl about it, and she actually said “I’m so sorry. That’s our manager. She does that a lot”
Excuse me???? Your manager sleeps at work, while you’re out here handling everything else?? WOW!! I was stunned. That’s absolutely disgusting that a manager would behave that way, and actually be promoted to store manager. I’d laugh if I wasn’t so disgusted. I’m horrified that she hasn’t been caught by her superiors. I feel incredibly sad that your employees have to work for such a horrible manager. I’m sad that you, as a corporation, don’t care enough about your employees to vet your managers better.
Do better Sally beauty!! Seriously.
I ordered some shampoo and conditioner…
I ordered some shampoo and conditioner from sally's beauty on line, and I got it from UPS today. I opened it and was so mad that when I grabbed the bottle it was sticky, then I noticed that the corners were wet. So again, I called customer service and tell them I got the products with nothing in them and the box it wet and leaked out. No tape on the lids and product was packaged but still can roll around in the box. This is many times now they have messed up. Plus the fact I'm still waiting for them to find my package that they sent to the wrong address. About ready to lose a customer.
My personal experience with Sally…
My personal experience with Sally Beauty products is 5 stars. But with the customer service at the store located at 4148 34th St, Lubbock texas it was horrible, I ordered online with a delivery of 2 hours, my product never arrived, I called the store and they did not know about the order, on top of that it tells me what I would call back and he never called me, he called again and I had to pick up the order, incomplete order and they do not inform the customer even after having paid in full that the product is not available. Without giving the slightest explanation if there will be availability later or in another store. Thanks to the customer service specialist at the telephone center who explained everything regarding the return of the money. I regret this situation in this store, it is not the first time that I go to it and I never leave grateful for the attention. I repeat THE PRODUCTS EXCELLENT QUALITY, PEROSNL OF ATTENTION TO THE CUSTOMER OF THE STORE AWFUL.
Duncan- unhappy
Duncan, Ok. had the most friendly Sally store. Not anymore. The only person there I have seen is most rude person I have seen in a retail facility. She doesn't seem to know her products. She acts like she would rather you did not come in. Offers no assistance at all. I am very disappointed. Will be driving 30 miles to purchase my Sally products

Bogus gift card
My husband ordered a $50 Sally gift card for me for Christmas this year from Sally beauty
website. The money was deducted from his checking account immediately and he had to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive. (Could have just been the holiday mail) I live 35 minutes from Sally beauty in dothan, Alabama I drove all the way there just to find out they had sent a bogus card with no balance! Talk about embarrassing when I go to use my card that just came and I'm told there is no balance on it. I drove all the way back home and called customer support and was told they could issue another card...ummm no thank you we just waited 3 weeks for a bogus card! So explained we would rather have a refund instead we were told they would refund but would have to wait 3-5 business days. We are not wealthy and cannot afford to loan Sally beauty $50 for as long as we had to wait for the bogus card with no value and then numerous phone calls to get a refund then having to wait almost another week to get our money back. I wil never spend another penny there. #absolutleyridiculus
Paid £75 for the wahl chrome clippers…
Paid £75 for the wahl chrome clippers set. Awful clippers, struggles to go through the hair and the mini trimmer is extremely loud. Cut my partners hair and he said it was so loud it hurt his ear. I am a hairdresser and I've never used such a bad set. Don't buy.
Paid for a brand new set of clippers…
Paid for a brand new set of clippers for them only to be faulty, no problem just unlucky maybe. . Returned the next morning with a receipt to rude staff refusing to take back faulty clippers never used! Saying it’s a 14 day wait. Asked to see my Sally’s purchase history and told I’m not aloud to see my own cause data protection! Asked if I could go in store with id and rudely told no then they hung up on me. great job,
I wish I could take back the day I came here.
I wish I could take back the day I walked into this place. Being employed here you need to have an understanding of haircare, the products and at least 2 working brain cells. I explained what I was looking for and she suggested a product. She said it was popular and was sold regularly. I read over every bit of information to make sure this would work for me and it seemed fine. I took it home, use it exactly the way it advised. I checked it every 5 minutes as suggested, the third time I checked, I stood there in disbelief. I immediately became hysterical. My beautiful, long, platinum blonde hair, that I take immaculate care of, with only the best products was now at least 6 to 7 different horrific colors. The product I purchased was something fun for Halloween that was non-permanent, and supposed to be the palest, baby pink, had turned my hair the darkest navy blue, clownish bright red, multiple disgusting green shades, neon yellow, a bizarre lavender, rusty orange...it was a night mare. I know hair, I've been educated in hair and color processes, whatever this was I had bought, from the suggestion of a "professional", there just isn't any words for. I worked fast to get this crap off of my hair, but it was too late and my hair was completely destroyed. I called the store, spoke with an older lady named Diane that would not let me get a word in to save my life. She was frantic and ended up giving me the corporate number and the number of the company that made this garbage. I phoned them, emailed them, sent pictures. The next day, their spokesperson called, they are trying to figure out how to compensate me, I
hope. I do have legal representation to assist me with this issue, though hope it doesn't come to that. I'm suppose to hear back from her by Monday. For me, having beautiful hair helps with many things, not to mention self-esteem, how you carry and express yourself. Your personality, attitude and behavior are affected by how comfortable you feel with your looks. At least for me. I interact with many people daily, I work with kids, I work with parents, have appts. constantly. My children have only known me with blonde hair. My family, neighbors, employees, coworkers, friends. I'm supposed to say that suddenly I decided to cut and dye my hair a dark color that even though others say it looks great, I despise it because it's not me, I suddenly out of the blue I lost my mind and decided to go in this direction that does not suit who I am as a person? Doesn't fit my aesthetic? My personality? My kids are completely confused. Everyone I know can see how this has affected me. I can't truly smile and be happy because I'm not. It's not just hair. Yes, it will grow back, no I'm not going to die. So what? I can't be upset at these changes I didn't want? I didn't need this in my life right now. I just found out my husband could have colon cancer and I'm scared to death, I didn't need this now. I don't want the stress of this to bring me further down and though I try not to let it show, he sees how it's destroyed how I feel about myself then I feel doubly horrible because I don't need him wasting his energy worrying about me. To some people this wouldn't be a big deal and they may not understand the level of how wretched this is for me. That's okay. This isn't about them. It's about me and how I feel, and I feel pretty terrible. I'm expressing my feelings here in hopes that others can read what I've experienced and decide if going to this place and purchasing trash a so-called-proffessional decides is best for you is something you want to do. I feel so stupid for making this decision. I should have gone to my salon, but of course I'm thinking a well known beauty supply store is supposed to have quality products. Sally's is a joke full of expired, damaged, poorly made, spoiled items that will destroy, harm, and make the buyers suffer in ways that can't be repaired or made better in any way. All Sally's can do is refund the ten dollars this crap cost. Diane stood there breathlessly annoyed on the phone while I told her that I've been literally maimed. Oddly, she felt the need to let me know about her 30 plus years in the beauty industry, as if this fact alone will minimize the damage I've endured. The staff needs to be replaced because they've clearly given up. The store should cut its losses and close as it's long overdue. Why keep a location open that will only bring the brand bad reviews and can't keep quality, new merchandise that's not old and tainted? If this were my location and I actually cared about my customers, and word of mouth, I'd be horrified if this happened to a client and I'd certainly do a little more than refund ten bucks.
Amazing Service
A massive thank you to Carole at Sally's in Plymouth. Had a hair emergency today and a very stressed teenager - unable to get to the store. Carol gave me her personal number so I could send a picture and discuss the products that I needed to rectify her hair from a shop bought hair dye. With my order now at the till and my partner picking up - I am so impressed with the level of service and product knowledge. I can't thank you enough - you are a real asset to Sally's - Thankyou again Carole x
