I had taken my Serial ATA drive to a competitor to salvage data and they did rip me of from the evaluation stage and did no recovery even a single file but still charge me for the services.

Salvage Data has one of the best customer care representative. We as a form have been using them for NAS server onsite recoveries that failed due to systematic or hardware malfunctions and they have been by our side since day one. We usually hire them twice a month to check in at our offices and in all occasions we have been able to work in good terms. Their technicians are skilled and know exactly what to do when they show up after having a brief with them.

I lost all my data after dropping my Freecom 500GB HDD by accident. After searching online forums, I stumbled upon salvage data . From the very first call, they were extremely helpful and professional. My HDD was collected, I had my data returned in 4 days. It was an expensive mistake on my part for dropping it, but worth every penny.

We received appalling customer service from this company. We contracted them to look at our external disk drive in Boston. Instead they sent the drive to another location and charged us to get it back when they couldn't do anything with it. I then realized that they sent back the drive without protection at all, which will further damage it and prevent us from getting another (this time honest) assessment on the drive. We're very disappointed and will not be in a position to recommend it.

Look elsewhere. Worst service ever.
Even when wanted to cancel the service, twice, never received feedback.

My children love climbing in my computer, but I did not think that removing all the data that I needed is there. It's good that my brother knows good specialists who helped me, I thought that I could forget about my files. Thank you very much.

A drive died in a 4 bay NAS and knocked the whole array offline. SalvageData was able to reconstruct the array and retrieve all of the data that was lost. Retrieval was timely and cost less than any other of the recovery companies.

We had an urgent need to restore a database that was lost when a mirrored drive array became corrupted due to controller failure. It's hard to shop online for data recovery. Everyone claims the same things and prices range from hundreds to thousands. Who do you trust? The folks at Salvagedata did not push me to use them, they shared with me that I should validate the claims of all companies, including theirs. So, I did. All I can say is, get in writing! My computer crashed with all of my tax info and family pictures. Found these guys on yelp and decided to give them a shot. These guys knew we were stressed but did not take advantage by upcharging. We highly recommend!
