Didn’t think i needed a solicitor

I recently worked with Paul at Samuel Phillips Solicitors during a difficult period involving a voluntary severance process with my employer of 30 years. At first, I was reluctant to involve a solicitor, as I didn’t feel it was necessary and was concerned it might complicate matters unnecessarily. However, after my employer insisted and it became clear that their process was not straightforward, I had little choice but to seek legal advice.

It was not easy to find a solicitor willing to take the case on. Several firms failed to respond or indicated they were unavailable. Paul, however, responded promptly and agreed to act on my behalf. From the beginning, he was clear, efficient, and focused on representing my interests.

The process itself turned out to be far more difficult than it needed to be, mainly due to the way my employer handled the situation. Throughout, Paul was the one constant. His advice was well judged, relevant, and based on a clear understanding of the circumstances. He offered more than legal input, his support made a very unpleasant situation feel more manageable. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment were evident throughout.

I’m very grateful for Paul’s support and would recommend him and Samuel Phillips Solicitors to anyone needing legal advice. While I hope not to be in this position again, I would contact Paul without hesitation if I needed representation in future. His service was consistent and highly reliable from start to finish.

Received a shockingly bad conveyancing…

Received a shockingly bad conveyancing service from Samuel Phillips. They failed to ensure that my daughter’s property was correctly registered with the Land Registry, resulting in inability to change to a lower interest rate and loss of hundreds of pounds in additional interest. When the error was identified they refused to reimburse the full amount and only agreed a partial reimbursement when the Legal Ombudsman got involved. They refused to apologise for the distress caused and were rude and obstructive throughout the complaint process

Fantastic Solicitor and PA

I had some difficulty finding the right solicitor but then Sarah Ward was recommended. We spoke on the phone and I instantly felt this was the right person for me. I needed a consent order for my divorce. Both Sarah Ward and her PA Hannah Ralphs were amazing. They were thorough, worked quickly and were very reasonably priced! My request was straightforward and the final bill came in less than quoted! Sarah and Hannah were amazing from beginning to end and I never thought I would say this about a solicitor but it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for making things so easy for me
