I tried to choose a favorite...

I tried to only choose one product to review, but had thoughts about a few!
First of all I LOVE that the masks in jars come with a brush or spatula to apply the product. The packaging is beautiful and sturdy.

The exfoliating mask is different from any mask I have ever tried. I love using exfoliants often, and this one is gentle enough to use regularly. My skin felt smooth and clean after I used the mask. I also really appreciated how easy it was to remove the mask!

My biggest insecurity when not wearing makeup are the blackheads and pores in my t zone and the pore refining mask helped a TON even after only one use. I could see a difference in my pores in those areas without having dry or irritated skin after using the mask.

The hydrating mask was great as well, I love masks with hyaluronic acid because those are the ones that really absorb into the skin and leave your face feeling so hydrated! I used a generous layer and after about 10 minutes, most of the product had absorbed into my skin leaving it feeling so smooth and moisturized.

I have also been using the Glow Drops almost every day with or without makeup. Underneath makeup, they create a good start for your makeup application. Without makeup, they give the skin a very pretty, natural glow! My only issue with the glow drops (and it’s a small one!) is that applying it directly to my face with the dropper is a little difficult because the product is so liquidy, it’s hard to get the product where you want it without it just dripping off your face. Not a deal breaker AT ALL, I just put a few drops on my fingers and then apply it to my skin.

I also love that this brand is cruelty free and has great ingredients.

Pink Clay face mask: love it

I am using sand and sky Pink Clay since several months and I love it. Already after the first time I my skin felt so soft and I can see my pores are becoming smaller and smaller.
It is not cheap but you can watch out for seasonal discounts

I actually haven't tried the product…

I actually haven't tried the product but I do look forward to it. The only reason why I haven't yet is because I have psoriasis and I want to find out before I order. However I dont have any on my face but im still curious if its safe for me.

Not impressed

Having used the original clay mask regularly for three months, I’m unconvinced.

Out of the pot the product is thick and creamy; a little goes a long way and it washes off easily, which can’t be said of all clay masks out there. I also don’t mind the smell though it’s definitely perfumed and at odds with its natural vibe.

It’s definitely not improving my normal to combination skin and in fact I wonder if it’s the cause of a small breakout on my chin, and dry patches under my eyes. I’m pregnant so thought it was hormonal but having read similar experiences from other users I’m now not sure. Like I say it’s definitely not improving my skin so ultimately this is a (costly) miss for me. If you’re in the UK I personally found the Loreal charcoal clay mask works better.

Okay I will be honest here

Okay I will be honest here. Sand and Sky first caught my attention with their pore mask, due to the fact that I have big pores and very slight acne scarring. I have tried 3 of Sand and Sky's products, here's my thought on each one:

1) The Porefining Mask: The mask does work honestly, however whatever influencers say in videos that skin feels smooth immediately after is a bit of a fad in all honesty. I took a look at the ingredients and it consists of bentonite clay which is more drying than hydrating. And, the weight of the jar is a bit of a let down cause the weight is mostly the weight of the jar than there is actual product, so that is a bit of a let down for a 50 euro mask, especially since I am a student. If you have massive pores like me, and you're not on a very tight budget then I might recommend this mask if you follow it with a moisturizer, but I'm sure there are other things you can get with more mass for that price.

2) The Exfoliator: ABSOLUTELY NOT! this exfoliator has the same consistency as St. Ives and it's harsh on the skin in all honesty. Also not sure whats the point of selling a porefining mask if you're gonna add olive oil as an ingredient in an exfoliator because it literally clogs pores

3) Emu Apple Serum: this is a nice treat in all honesty, I keep it low because of my skin type but before bed or first thing in the morning its a lovely treat, I do recommend this lovely serum!

That's my 2 cents on Sand and Sky Products I have used, The serum I recommend, everything else, not really in all honesty.

I just received my sand and sky jar…

I just received my sand and sky jar last week tried it for the first time it felt awesome but then a day or 2 after I began to notice really nasty chemical burns on my cheeks very painful. Tried it one more time 2 days ago and the pain from the chemical burn on my cheeks are unbearable. This is very disappointing for me since this is the first time I actually invested in a mask, never needed to do it before never had acne or anything was just looking for some good moisturizing products for my face. Should’ve left well enough alone. Worst experience ever. Does anyone know how to ease the pain from chemical burns? Wish I could upload a picture of my face.

Didn’t like my skin at all.

I bought this hoping to refine the GIANT pores on my nose and chin and to just ensure that I wouldn’t break out. My skin is combination, and I only get small breakouts on my period and if I OD on sugar. So no major issues at all. In the first few weeks of the clay mask and the scrub I started to break out and just assumed that was the “toxins coming out” and thought I’d stick with it and I would have smooth as skin afterwards. Two months and I had constant breakouts. I broke routine by accident due to health issues and when I stopped using them my skin cleared up. I was pampering myself the other day and decided a mask wouldn’t hurt. LOL YEA NAH, I broke out so bad within 12 hours. Then it cleared up again when I stopped using it. Quality product, don’t get me wrong. But I spent $120 on products that just made me breakout and it’s disappointing that it’s going to waste.

Hi Hannah!

Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Don't worry; it's normal to experience breakouts after using a clay product. Clay draws impurities to the surface of your skin, so they have to come out somehow!

If the pimples are in a spot where you normally get pimples, this is called a purge, and it’s a good thing as it means the treatment is doing its job.

If they are in a different area to where you normally get pimples, it may mean that the mask is not right for you. We do recommend you try the treatment again, and if you keep getting breakouts after a couple of uses, then discontinue use.

Please send us an email at hello@sandandsky.com so we can assist you further.

Love,

Really loved it the first few times I…

Really loved it the first few times I applied but now it has gone a clumpier and drier texture so really hard to spread onto my skin. Not what I expected after paying so much and is always stored properly.

Obsessed!!

Absolutely nothing bad to say! I love love love the pink clay face mask- it is so easy to apply, smells amazing, dries easily and leaves my skin feeling amazing!! I also love the exfoliating treatment. It’s basically a two in one face mask and exfoliater, which worked amazingly. Overall amazing products and definitely worth every penny.

love!!

so far me and my mom are loving it! we both have sensitive skin, so this means a lot to us. it burned a little putting on, but by seconds it was gone. it felt so nice and refreshing while drying, then after - smooth as a baby’s butt! no lie! sometimes it can dry your face out, so moisturize after (i only had to once so far)! all in all great product, would love to try more new stuff!

I use this product religiously!

I use this product religiously along with other facial products like I micro and cleanse my skin first so the products can penetrate deeper then start with the S&S products and it’s amazing I even still use the Clay exfoliant after that which you would think would be to much but it’s not that’s how gentle these products are so much so my fiancé has now started using it and is obsessed with how it makes his skin feel and look. I usually have a very sensitive skin type but have never had any problem with either pink clay mask or the Aus emu Apple super bounce mask. I use them around my eye area and never had a problem I even put them on my hands & around my cuticles as I tend to get really dry hands from my job and my hands feel amazing. I also love how the emu super bounce mask absorbs & just sinks into your skin! I used to struggle with tiny stubborn blackheads on my nose and chin but since using S&S they have gone. Sometimes people forget you have to use the product correctly to get results. If anyone thinks these products are to expensive for what they are they have never seen how much big beauty brands will charge for decent facial mask that wouldn’t last as long as these masks do or do as good of a job as they do. You would be paying a lot more money a lot more often to get a decent mask. I’m always trying out new products ect and have been highly disappointed, ripped off and payed a lot of money for things that just have never come. Sand and sky are very good with there customer service and if there is a problem they fix it straight away. I write all of this as I have been a beauty therapist for over 10yrs and have worked for many of those big beauty brands you see in our big department stores and I’m not saying their products aren’t good but when I first ordered and used sand and sky I was extremely impressed with not only the products but the price of the products as well as the businesses customer service skills and how important & valued they made me feel as a customer.

Must try!!

I’ve been using the clay mask for 4 weeks now & I definitely notice a difference! My pores are shrinking I can tell in pics & my face looks smoother overall! I’ve tried dupes for this mask (cheaper) & definitely did not get the same results. As with ANYTHING new you try on your face make
sure to spot test FIRST to make sure your skin isn’t too sensitive for this product

Amazing but expensive

Got the face mask and scrub in a bundle, love them but sorry I wouldn't pay full price, they are well to expensive. Use it every other day and it makes a difference straight away. The mask would of lasted me longer but I didn't read the instructions properly so instead of using a thin layer at first I was using a thick layer. I've noticed more of a difference now I'm using it correctly

Thrown away money

I bought it in August and used it maybe 3 times. I loved it while i was using it and saw a real improvement in my skin. Unfortunately when i wanted to use it again it was all dried out. Actual clay. Not able to use it anymore whatsoever. I always kept it in dark places and in a 19° area. Regret buying it, cause its very expensive. Just threw away my money.

For the quickest resolution, could you please send us the batch number that can be found at the bottom of the jar and a photo of the mask. We will forward this information to our Product Team for further investigation to make sure it will not happen in the future.

Please email us at hello@sandandsky.com (subject: Trustpilot review) if that didn't work as we are determined to help you out.
